AquaFinesse POOL
starter guide & weekly maintenance
AquaFinesse POOL is only intended for use in swimming pools and must be
used in combination with chlorine, bromine or other oxidiser. These instructions
are applicable if your pool water is in reasonable condition before beginning
teatment.
1. Ensure that the pool floor is vacuumed and the filter backwashed/rinsed
regularly, as set out in the manufacturer’s instructions.
2. Following a backwash, you may need to top up the pool with fresh water to
once again reach the correct levels.
3. Using protective gloves, place a chlorine tablet in the skimmer basket. Read
the instructions on the packet (Please follow your countries guidelines
regarding chlorine usage).
4. Regularly check the chlorine tablet, replace before the old one has completely
dissolved.
5. Calculate the amount of water in the swimming pool using the calculation
guide below*.
6. Using the floating dispenser, add the correct amount of AquaFinesse POOL
tablets according to the volume of water.
7. AquaFinesse POOL does not contain any anti-algae agents. However,
the chlorine tablet should be sufficient to maintain an algae free pool.
*Calculation guide:
If a pool is 7 metres long, 3.5 metres wide and on average 1.5 metres
deep. The capacity is then: 7 x 3.5 x 1.5 = 36.75 m3= 36,750 litres.
Rounded up, 40,000 litres.
Each AquaFinesse POOL tablet is sufficient for 1 week’s treatment of 20.000
litres of water. A double dose of AquaFinesse POOL should be used during the
first 2 weeks.
In the case given in the calculation guide: 4 AquaFinesse POOL tablets should
be used in the skimmer’s basket or in the floating dispenser during the first two
weeks, followed by 2 AquaFinesse POOL tablets in subsequent weeks.
