General considerations / Considérations générales
PLEASE REMOVE THE WHITE PLASTIC PROTECTOR FIXED AT THE BOTTOM OF THE DRAIN.
NE PAS UTILISER LE PROTECTEUR BLANC FIXÉ SOUS LE DRAIN.
IL EST UTILISÉ UNIQUEMENT COMME UNE PROTECTION.
We strongly recommend to have access from the floor below, it will help you to connect the piping much more easily. Connecting without
having access is also possible.
Determine the location of the bathtub, taking the position for the faucets into accourt as well as the water supply piping and the drain.
Install the plumbing and drainage before securing the unit in place.
Before cutting a hole in the floor for drain piping, ensure the space is free of pipes, floor joists, heating ducts and electrical wires. If the
location for the bathtub is not free of these please contact a building structure expert prior to cutting any joist.
Nous recommandons d’avoir accès à l’étage en dessous. Cela vous facilitera la connection du drain. Il est par contre possible d’installer
le bain sans avoir accès à l’étage en dessous.
Déterminer la position de votre bain en tenant compte la position du robinet, les conduits d’eau et de la connection du drain.
Il faut installer la plomberie et le drainage avant de fixer l’unité en place.
Avant de découper le trou au plancher pour le drainage, assurez vous que l’espace est libre de conduits d’eau, de la tuyauterie de
ventilation ou des fils électriques.

Determine the position of the bathtub
allowing enough space for the plumbing
and making sure that the drain and plumb-
ing are not directly above the floor joists.
On the floor, trace the bottom of the bath-
tub (length & width) and mark the cutting
line (RED LINE) around the drain for connec-
tion for the piping, the drain and p-trap. Cut
the opening in the floor along the red mark
as shown (fig.1).

prévoyant l’espace suffisant pour la robi-
netterie et assurez vous que l’emplacement
du drain et de la robinetterie ne sont pas
au-dessus des solives du plancher.
Tracez le fond du bain (longueur & lar-
gueur) et marquez la ligne de découpage
(LIGNE ROUGE) autour du drain pour le
raccordement de la tuyauterie, drain et p-
trap. Couper l’ouverture dans le plancher le
long de la marque rouge comme indiqué
(fig. 1)
Place the female part (2) of the expansion
joint as shown (fig.2). Make sure it is flush
to the finished floor. Use the steel trap to
fasten the expansion joint to the joists.

d’expansion comme illustré (fig.2). Assurez-
vous d’être au même niveau que le
plancher (fini). Utiliser le feuillard troué pour
fixer le joint d’expansion aux solives.
Lay the bathtub on its side carefully to
prevent scratches. Take the measurement
of the distance “d“ from the bottom of the
drain to the bottom of the bathtub (fig.3).
Poser la baignoire sur le côté avec soin
pour éviter les rayures. Prendre la mesure
de la distance “d” du fond de la vidange
au fond de la baignoire (fig. 3).

Cut the male part of the expansion joint (1) at the “d” length and add 4 1/2” extra.
If you do not have acces from the room below:
Before placing the bathtub, insert the male part of the expansion joint (1) halfway to the
femalle part (2).
Place the bathtub by raising it up 3 1/2” with 4x4 pieces of lumber in order to access from
the bottom of the bathtub. Align the drain (3) to the expansion joint (1) (fig.4). From the bot-
tom of the bathtub, tighten the collars of the expansion joint (1) to drain (3) (do not forget
to use the seal washer in between). Tighten the collars of the expansion joint (2) just tight
enough that male part (1) can still slide in (fig.4).
Couper la partie mâle du joint d’expansion (1) à la “d” longueur et ajouter 4 1/2” sup-
plémentaire.
Si vous n’avez pas accès à l’étage en dessous:
Avant de placer le bain, insérer partiellement la partie mâle (1) du joint d’expansion dans
la partie femelle (2).
Placer le bain à sa place en surélevant le bain 3 1/2” à l’aide de madriers 4x4. Cela vous
donne un accès en dessous du bain pour la connection du drain. Aligner le drain avec
le joint d’expansion (1) (Fig.4). En dessous du bain, sérrer le bague du joint d’expansion
(1) au drain (3) (ne pas oublier de mettre le rondelle d’étanchéité). Serrer les bagues du
joint d’expansion (2), assez pour permettre la partie mâle de glisser dans la partie femelle
(Fig.4).
Fill the bathtub with water and let it drain
out. From the bottom, make sure that all the
joints are watertight.
Move the bathtub down slowly by remov-
ing the pieces of lumber. Seal the spaces
with sillicone.
Remplir le bain d’eau et ensuite le vider. En
dessous du bain, assurez vous que tous les
joints sont étanches.
Descendez le bain lentement en retirant les
madriers et sceller espace avec du silicone.

Care
Removing stains and fixing scratches or burns
Like any high-use product, nicks, scratches and cuts are inevitable with stone resin. But as stone resin is solid all the way through, it is easy
to renew to its original appearance. First of all, identify the extent of the damage and ascertain whether a minor repair will solve the
problem. If damage is minor, try to repair it with abrasive cleaner or a common household degreaser. Soapy water or ammonia-based
cleaners will remove most dirt and stains.
If the above is unsuccessul, follow the simple polishing steps below:
1- Clean the surface with water, making sure no dust remains
2- Use 800 sandpaper to polish the surface in focus with water
3- Use 1500 sandpaper to polish the surface with water to gain a smooth surface
4- Use 2000 sandpaper to polish the surface with water to gain a smoother surface
5- Wipe up the water with clean and dry cloth
6- Polish with G3 wax
7- Wipe up the remaining wax with a clean and dry cloth
Entretien
Enlever les tâches et réparer les rayures ou brulures
Comme tout produit de haut usage, les rayures, tâches et autres dommages sont inévitables. Cependant, comme le polymère est un
matérial solide, il est facile de renouveler son apparence orginal. Dans un premier temps, identifiez les dommages et déterminer si
une réparation mineure peut résoudre le problème. Si le dommage est mineur, essayez de le réparer avec un produit abrasif ou autres
produits d’entretien. L’eau savonneuse ou des produits à base d’ammoniac enlèvent la majorité des tâches.
Si le procédé ci-dessus ne réussit pas, suivez les étapes de polissage suivantes:
1- Nettoyer la surface du bain avec de l’eau, et assurez-vous qu’aucune saleté reste sur le bain.
2- Utilisez du papier de verre 800 humide pour polir la surface endommagée
3- Utilisez du papier de verre 1500 humide pour polir cette même surface afin qu’elle devienne lisse
4- Utiliser du papier de verre 2000 humide pour polir cette même surface afin qu’elle devienne encore plus lisse
5- Essuyez l’eau avec un linge sec et propre
6- Polissez avec une cire G3
7- Essuyez le restant de la cire G3 avec un linge sec et propre

Preventing heat and other damage / Eviter la chaleur et autre dommage
Avoid exposing stone resin to strong chemicals, such as paint removers, oven cleaner, etc. If contact occurs, quickly flush the surface with
water. Remove nail polish with a non-acetone based polish remover and flush with water. Do not cut directly on stone resin.
Eviter d’exposer le polymère à des produits chimiques, tel que des nettoyants à four, dissolvants pour peinture, etc. Si un tel contact survi-
ent, nettoyer rapidement la surface avec de l’eau. Enlever le vernis à ongles avec un dissolvant qui ne contient pas d’acetone et nettoyer
la surface avec de l’eau. Ne rien couper directement sur la surface du bain.
Renewing stone resin / Renouveler le polymère
While nicks, stains, cuts and scratches can permanently mar most other surfaces, they won’t compromise the appearance of stone resin
solid surfaces. This is because it is easy to restore stone resin to its original state, using an ordinary abrasive cleanser and common house-
hold degreaser. If damage does occur, stone resin can be repaired on site, saving both time and aggravation.
Des tâches, coupures, rayures et autres dommages peuvent détériorer de facon permanente la plupart des surfaces, mais ils ne peuvent
compromettre l’apparence des surfaces de polymère. En effet, il est facile de restorer le polymère à son état original en utilisant des
produits nettoyants abrasifs domestiques. Si un dommage survient, le polymère peut être réparé sur place.

Les produits Aquabrass ont une garantie complète contre les défauts de matériel et de main d’œuvre. La garantie est applicable seulement si le produit est
acheté chez un détaillant Aquabrass dûment autorisé. La garantie Aquabrass est strictement limitée au premier acheteur et une preuve d’achat doit être
présentée pour toutes réclamations. Les produits considérés comme défectueux doivent être retournés à nos entrepôts pour inspection avant tout remplacement.
La garantie Aquabrass n’est pas transférable et est limitée aux produits vendus et installés au Canada et aux États-Unis.
Applications résidentielles
- toutes les parties mécaniques incluant les cartouches à disques en céramique pour les valves et les pressions équilibrées, les cartouches thermostatiques, les
déviateurs ont une garantie complète au premier acheteur.
- les finis chrome poli et nickel brossé Aquabrass ont une garantie à vie limitée au premier acheteur.
- tous les autres finis ont une garantie de cinq (5) ans (le nickel satiné naturel [#210] se patinera avec le temps), excepté le laiton brut (#400) qui est un fini
vivant pour lequel il n’y a pas de garantie.
- l’usure normale d’un fini n’est pas couverte par la garantie.
- tous les composants et les robinets électroniques ont une garantie de deux (2) ans.
- toutes les vasques en verre, les lavabos en porcelaine ont une garantie de un (1) an.
- les bains et lavabos en composite de pierre / résine ont une garantie de cinq (5) ans.
- les collections de mobilier de salle de bain ont une garantie de un (1) an.
- tous les autres produits ont une garantie de cinq (5) ans.
Applications commerciales et industrielles
Tous les produits ci-dessus sont garantis pour deux (2) ans à l’exception des vasques en verre ou en porcelaine qui sont garanties un (1) an.
La garantie Aquabrass ne couvre pas :
- dommages causés en entier ou en partie par une erreur d’installation, d’abus de produit, de négligence, d’utilisation non conforme, d’usage de produits
abrasifs, de corrosion et/ou d’accidents causés par un professionnel ou par toute autre personne.
- tout produit Aquabrass nettoyé avec des produits abrasifs, comme les détergents ou les nettoyants à vitres.
- usure normale du fini.
- dommages causés par l’eau dure, les dépôts de calcaire ou les sédiments.
- les dommages ou les pertes résultant d’une catastrophe naturelle telle qu’un feu, un tremblement de terre, le tonnerre, un orage électrique, etc.
Aquabrass n’accepte aucune responsabilité pour tout frais de main d’œuvre ou d’expédition, ou pour tout autre dommage causé en totalité ou en partie lors de
l’installation du produit, de son retrait, de sa réinstallation, de sa réparation, ou le remplacement de tout produit ou pièce Aquabrass, ainsi que tout dommage
occasionnel ou conséquent, dépense, perte directe ou indirecte, provenant de quelque cause que ce soit.
Pour obtenir la garantie de service, veuillez contacter le détaillant où le produit a été acheté. La preuve d’achat originale sera exigible pour l’application de
la garantie.
Cette garantie s’applique au premier acheteur au détail et n’est PAS transférable.
Aquabrass se réserve le droit de modifier des caractéristiques de ses produits sans avis ni obligation ainsi que de remplacer ou de retirer certains modèles.
Garantie limitée à vie
All Aquabrass products carry a full warranty against defects in materials and workmanship. The warranty will be applied only if the product is purchased from
an authorized Aquabrass dealer. The Aquabrass warranty is limited strictly to the original consumer purchaser of the product. Proof of purchase must be made
available to Aquabrass for all limited warranty claims. Products that are deemed defective must be returned to our factory for inspection prior to replacement.
The limited warranty is not transferable and is limited to products sold and installed in Canada and the United States.
Residential Applications
- mechanical working parts including ceramic disc cartridges for both side valves and pressure balance, thermo cartridges, stops, diverters etc. all carry our
full limited lifetime warranty to the original purchaser.
- Aquabrass polished chrome and brushed nickel finishes are warranted for the life of the product to the original purchaser. All other finishes will be waranted
for five years (Satin Nickel Natural [#210] is designed to develop a patina over time). Raw Brass (#400) is a living finish for which there is no warranty. Normal
wear and tear is not covered by this warranty.
- all electronic components and faucets are warranted for two years.
- all glass and ceramic basins are warranted for one year.
- stone resin bathtubs and sinks are warranted for five years.
- vanity collections are warranted for one year.
- all other Aquabrass products are warranted for five years.
Commercial Industrial Applications
All the above product applications will be warranted for two years with the exception of the glass and ceramic basins which will carry a one year warranty.
The Aquabrass warranty does not cover the following:
- damages resulting in whole or part from installation error, product abuse, misuse, neglect, improper maintenance, abrasives, corrosion and/or accidents
whether caused or performed by a professional or anyone else.
- any and all Aquabrass products that are subjected to any type of harsh abrasive, such as detergents or window cleaners.
- normal wear of the finish.
- the damage is caused by hard water, calcareous deposits or sediments.
- the damage or loss is sustained in a natural calamity such as fire, earthquake, flood, thunder, electrical storm, etc.
Aquabrass is not responsible for any labor or shipping charges, or damages whatsoever incurred in whole or in part from installation, removal, re-installation,
repair or replacement of any Aquabrass product or part, as well as any incidental or consequential damages, expenses, losses, direct or indirect, arising from
any cause whatsoever.
To obtain warranty service, please contact the retailer where the product was purchased.
The original sales receipt must be available to exercise our warranty.
This warranty is extended to the first purchaser at retail. This warranty is NOT transferable.
Aquabrass reserves the right to make product specification changes without notice or obligation and to change or discontinue certain models.
