Operating Instructions
INSTRUCTIONS PERTAINING TO A RISK OF FIRE,
ELECTRICAL SHOCK, OR INJURY TO PERSONS
READ AND FOLLOW ALL INSTRUCTIONS
SAVE THESE INSTRUCTIONS
WARNING: When using electrical products, basic precautions should always be followed, including
the following:
DANGER: Risk of personal injury. To reduce the risk of injury, do not permit children to use this unit
unless they are closely supervised at all times.
WARNING: Risk of personal injury. To avoid injury, exercise care when entering or exiting the bath
with airjets.
WARNING: Risk of electric shock. Do not permit electric appliances (such as a hair dryer, lamp,
telephone, radio, or television) within 5’ (1.5 m) of this unit.
WARNING: The use of alcohol, drugs, or medication can greatly increase the risk of fatal
hyperthermia. Prolonged immersion in hot water may induce hyperthermia. Hyperthermia occurs
when the internal temperature of the body reaches a level several degrees above the normal body
temperature of 98.6°F (37°C). The symptoms of hyperthermia include an increase in the internal
temperature of the body, dizziness, lethargy, drowsiness, and fainting. The effects of hyperthermia
include: (a) failure to perceive heat, (b) failure to recognize the need to exit the bath, (c) unawareness
of impending hazard, (d) fetal damage in pregnant women, (e) physical inability to exit the bath, and
(f) unconsciousness resulting in the danger of drowning.
NOTE: If the pump supply cord is damaged, it must be replaced by the manufacturer, its service agent or
similarly qualified persons in order to avoid a hazard. The heater supply cord cannot be replaced. If the
cord is damaged the heater should be scrapped.
Use this bath with airjets only for its intended purpose as described in this manual. Do not use attachments
not recommended by the manufacturer.
Never drop or insert any object into any opening.
The bath with airjets must be connected only to a supply circuit that is protected by a Ground-Fault
Circuit-Interrupter (GFCI) or Earth-Leakage Circuit-Breaker (ELCB). Such a GFCI or ELCB should be
provided by the installer and should be tested on a routine basis. To test the GFCI or ELCB, press the test
button. The GFCI or ELCB should interrupt power. Press the reset button. Power should be restored. If the
GFCI or ELCB fails to operate in this manner, the GFCI or ELCB is defective. If the GFCI or ELCB interrupts
power to the bath without the test button being pressed, a ground current is flowing, indicating the
possibility of an electric shock. Do not use this bath. Disconnect the bath and have the problem corrected by
a qualified service representative before using.
Your new Kohler bath with airjets has been listed by Underwriter’s Laboratories, thus ensuring safety for
you and your family. Your new bath with airjets also conforms to rigid ANSI and IAPMO standards set
within the plumbing industry.

Your Kohler Bath with Airjets
Your new bath with airjets is designed to stimulate, invigorate, and energize your body with comforting
massage therapy. It can also provide a gentle relaxing massage when operated at a lower speed. You will use
the following components:
•Airjets - Distribute and release the air at the lower edge of the bath side and end walls for a
soothing massage.
•Blower Motor- Provides quiet power to supply the air and create the soothing massage action.
•Bath - Allows the bather to relax in comfort while enjoying the air massage.
•User Keypad - Located within easy reach, the user keypad turns the unit on and off, controls the
airflow rate, and controls the purge operation that removes any residual water from the air channels
after use.
How to Use This Manual
This manual is designed to help you troubleshoot any problems that may develop with the
operation of the bath with airjets.
If a problem occurs, refer to the ″Troubleshooting″section to determine a probable cause.
Check the ″Service Parts″section to determine the part numbers for any replacement parts
necessary.
Use the information on the back cover of this manual to contact Kohler Company to order parts, or
for help if you cannot correct the problem.

Operating Your Bath with Airjets
User Keypad Buttons
On/Off - Turns the blower motor on and off. Pressing the switch once starts the blower motor at a
midrange speed. Pressing the button again stops the blower motor. The blower motor automatically
stops after about 20 minutes of operation. The blower motor can be restarted by pressing the
On/Off button.
Purge Mode - Initiates the purge cycle manually. The purge cycle blows any residual water out of
the air channels after the bath has been drained. Pressing the button once starts the blower motor at
low-speed. The blower motor stops automatically after about two minutes. Pressing the button
again before the cycle ends will stop the blower motor. Note that this product also has an automatic
purge cycle, which initiates about 30 minutes after the blower has stopped.
Increase Flow - Increases the air flow.
Decreases Flow- Decreases the air flow.
Operating Your Bath with Airjets
Close the drain, and fill the bath to a level at least 4” (10 cm) above the top of the highest air jets.
Use your hand to test the water temperature for comfort and safety, then carefully enter the bath
basin.
Press the power button to turn on the bath with airjets.
NOTE: The bath with airjets includes a timer that stops the air system after approximately 20 minutes of
continuous operation. You can then restart the bath if you desire by pressing the power button.
If desired, press the up or down buttons to change the rate of airflow.
When finished, press the power button a second time to turn off the bath.
Carefully exit the bath, and open the drain to empty the bath.
About 30 minutes after the air system stops, the bath with airjets performs an automatic two-minute
purge cycle.
NOTE: If the bath with airjets does not function properly, please refer to ″Troubleshooting″section.

Care and Cleaning Instructions
Cleaning Your Acrylic Bath with Airjets
Do not use powdered cleaners unless the cleaner is fully dissolved in water. Solid substances
could block the airjets.
Do not use full strength bleach or ammonia cleaning solutions. Chemically active cleaning
solutions can damage the bath surface.
Do not use abrasive cleansers or solvents on acrylic surfaces. Abrasive cleaners and solvents can
damage the bath surface.
Wipe out your acrylic bath with a soft cloth after each use.
Avoid detergents, disinfectants, or cleaning products in aerosol cans.
If the surface gets excessively dirty you can use a general purpose cleaner such as: Formula 409
®
All
Purpose Cleaner, Scrub Free
®
Mildew Stain Remover, Mr. Clean
®
Lemon Fresh, Cinch
®
, Glass Plus
®
,
or Fantastik
®
All Purpose.
NOTE: To restore dull or scratched units: Apply white automotive polishing compound with a clean rag.
Rub scratches and dull areas vigorously. Wipe off residue. Follow with a coat of white automotive paste
wax. Do not wax areas where you walk or stand.
Cleaning Your User Keypad
Use a soft cloth to wipe the user keypad after each use. If the surface becomes dirty, use a
non-abrasive soap and warm water to clean.
Maintaining the Airjets
If cleaning the airjets is required, use a small between-the-teeth dental brush and white vinegar. Dip
the brush in the vinegar, brush the hole, rinse the brush in clean water, and then use the wet rinsed
brush to rinse the hole.
Fill the bath with water to the top row of air jets. Drain the bath and press the purge button.
Limited Five-Year Warranty - Acrylic Shell - K-1357 and K-1151 Only
For North America Only
Kohler Co. warrants that the acrylic shell of the whirlpool and/or bath will be free of defects in material and
workmanship during normal residential use for five years from the date the product is installed. Gloss
reduction, scratching, staining or alkaline etching of the acrylic over time due to use, cleaning practices or
water or atmospheric conditions are not manufacturing defects but are indicative of normal wear and tear.
This warranty applies only for whirlpool and/or bath installed in the United States of America, Canada and
Mexico.
All other components of the whirlpool and/or bath, including but not limited to air system, user keypad,
keypad cable, and air harness, other than the acrylic shell carry Kohler’s One-Year Limited Warranty.
If the whirlpool and/or bath is used commercially or is installed outside of North America, Kohler Co.
warrants the acrylic shell to be free from defects in material and workmanship for one (1) year from the date
the product is installed, with all other terms of this warranty applying except duration.
If a defect is found in normal residential use, Kohler Co. will, at its election, repair or replace the acrylic shell
or make appropriate adjustment. Damage caused by accident, misuse, or abuse is not covered by this
warranty. Improper care and cleaning will void the warranty. Proof of purchase (original sales receipt) must
be provided to Kohler with all warranty claims. Kohler Co. is not responsible for labor charges, installation,
or other incidental or consequential costs other than those noted above. In no event shall the liability of
Kohler exceed the purchase price of the whirlpool and/or bath.
If you believe that you have a warranty claim, contact your Home Center, Dealer, Plumbing Contractor or
E-tailer. Please be sure to provide all pertinent information regarding your claim, including a complete
description of the problem, the product, model number, color, finish, the date the product was purchased,
from whom the product was purchased and the installation date. Also include your original invoice. For

plumbing fixtures, faucets and fittings are warranted to be free of defects in material and
workmanship for one year from date of installation.
Kohler Co. will, at its election, repair, replace or make appropriate adjustment where Kohler Co. inspection
discloses any such defects occurring in normal usage within one year after installation. Kohler Co. is not
responsible for removal or installation costs.

It is recommended that at the time of purchase, you verify that all accessories and components are complete
in this package.
This Kohler product is warranted to be free of defects in material and workmanship for one (1) year from the
date of purchase as shown on the invoice or receipt.
1. Kohler Co. will only service its commercialized products through its authorized distributors.
2. To obtain warranty service, please present the invoice and corresponding warranty.
3. Through its authorized distributors, Kohler Co. promises to repair the defective product or provide a new
replacement or an equivalent model (in those cases that the model has been discontinued) when the product
is beyond repair, without any charge to the consumer.
4. The time of repair will not exceed six (6) weeks commencing on the date the product is received.

5. It is recommended that the consumer save the invoice or receipt as additional protection, as it may
substitute the warranty in the case that there is a discrepancy in the validity of the warranty.
EXCEPTIONS AND RESTRICTIONS
The Warranty will not be valid in the following cases:
1. When the product is not operated in accordance with the instructions concerning use and operation set
forth in the owner’s manual or installation instructions, and when the recommendations and warnings
included are not observed.
2. When the product has been modified or dismantled partially or totally; or has been used in a negligent
fashion and as a consequence has suffered damages attributable to the consumer, individual, or hardware not
authorized by Kohler Co.
3. This warranty does not cover the damages as a result of disaster such as fire or acts of God, including
flooding, earthquake, or electric storms, etc. To obtain a list of distributors in your area where you can

Troubleshooting Procedures
This troubleshooting guide is for general aid only. A Kohler Authorized Service Representative or qualified
electrician should correct any electrical problems. For warranty service, contact your dealer or wholesale
distributor.

d’alimentation du chauffeau ne peut pas être remplacé. Si le cordon est endommagé, le chauffeau devrait
être retiré.
N’utiliser cette baignoire à jets d’air qu’à des fins telles que décrites dans ce manuel. Ne pas utiliser des
fixations non recommandées par le fabricant.
Ne jamais faire tomber ou insérer d’objet quelconque dans les ouvertures.
La baignoire à jets d’air doit uniquement être raccordée à un Disjoncteur Différentiel (GFCI) ou un
Disjoncteur de Mise à la Terre (ELCB). De tels disjoncteurs GFCI ou ELCB devraient être fournis par
l’installateur et vérifiés régulièrement. Appuyer sur le bouton de test pour tester les disjoncteurs GFCI ou
ELCB. Les disjoncteurs GFCI ou ELCB de mise à la terre devraient couper l’alimentation. Appuyer sur le
bouton de ré-initialisation. L’alimentation devrait être restituée. Si les disjoncteurs GFCI or ELCB ne
fonctionnent pas de cette façon, l’un ou l’autre est défectueux. Si les disjoncteurs GFCI ou ELCB stoppent
l’alimentation électrique à la baignoire sans que le bouton test ne soit utilisé, il y a donc un court circuit
indiquant la possibilité de choc électrique. Ne pas utiliser cette baignoire. Débrancher la baignoire et faites-la
vérifier par un technicien qualifié avant de l’utiliser.

Comment utiliser ce manuel
Ce manuel est conçu pour vous aider à étudier ou à réparer tous les problèmes qui pourraient
survenir lors du fonctionnement de la baignoire à jets d’air.
En cas de problème, consulter la section ″Dépannage″pour déterminer la cause probable de la
panne.
Vérifier la section ″Pièces de rechange″pour déterminer le numéro de la pièce à remplacer, si
nécessaire.
Utiliser les informations au verso de ce manuel pour contacter Kohler Company et commander les
pièces de rechange, ou pour de l’assistance si vous ne pouvez pas corriger le problème.

Fonctionnement de votre baignoire à jets d’air
Boutons du clavier
Marche/arrêt -Met en marche et arrête le moteur souffleur. Pour faire démarrer le moteur souffleur à
vitesse moyenne, appuyer une fois sur la commande. Pour arrêter le moteur souffleur, appuyer une
nouvelle fois sur le bouton. Le moteur souffleur s’arrête automatiquement après 20 minutes de
fonctionnement. Le moteur souffleur peut être remis en marche en appuyant sur le bouton
marche/arrêt.
Mode purge -Initie le cycle de purge manuellement. Le cycle de purge vide les conduits d’air de
toute eau résiduelle après que la baignoire soit vidée. Pour faire démarrer le moteur souffleur à
vitesse lente, appuyer une fois sur le bouton. Le moteur souffleur s’arrête automatiquement après
deux minutes. Appuyer une nouvelle fois sur le bouton pour arrêter le moteur souffleur avant la fin
du cycle. Noter que ce produit est également équipé d’un cycle de purge automatique qui
commence environ 30 minutes après que le souffleur se soit arrêté.
Augmenter le débit -Augmente le débit d’air.
Réduire le débit -Réduit le débit d’air.
Utiliser votre baignoire à jets d’air
Fermer le drain et remplir la baignoire au moins à 4″(10 cm) au-dessus du haut des jets les plus
élevés.
Utiliser la main pour tester la température de l’eau pour votre confort, puis entrer avec précaution
dans la baignoire.
Appuyer sur le bouton d’alimentation pour mettre la baignoire à jets d’air en marche.
REMARQUE : La baignoire est munie d’une minuterie qui interrompt l’écoulement d’air après environ 20
minutes de fonctionnement continu. Vous pouvez redémarrer la baignoire en appuyant à nouveau sur le
bouton.
Si vous le désirez, vous pouvez contrôler le débit d’air à l’aide des boutons vers le haut et vers le
bas.
Après avoir fini, appuyer une deuxième fois sur le bouton de mise en marche pour éteindre la
baignoire.
Sortir de la baignoire avec précaution et ouvrir le drain pour vider la baignoire.
Environ 30 minutes après l’arrêt du système d’air, la baignoire à jets d’air effectue une purge
automatique de deux minutes.

Instructions d’entretien et de nettoyage
Nettoyage de la baignoire à jets d’air en acrylique
Ne pas utiliser de nettoyant en poudre à moins qu’il ne soit complètement dissous dans l’eau.
Les substances solides peuvent bloquer les jets d’air.
Ne pas utiliser de solutions de nettoyage non diluées à base de chlore ou d’ammoniaque. Les
solutions de nettoyage chimiques peuvent endommager la surface de la baignoire.
Ne pas utiliser de nettoyants abrasifs ou de solvants sur les surfaces en acrylique. Les nettoyants
abrasifs et les solvants risquent d’endommager la surface de la baignoire.
Essuyer la baignoire en acrylique avec un chiffon doux après chaque usage.
Éviter les détergents, les désinfectants ou les produits de nettoyage en aérosol.
Si la surface devient excessivement sale, vous pouvez utiliser un nettoyant d’usage général, tel que :

REMARQUE : Pour réparer une unité ternie ou rayée: Appliquer un produit à polir blanc automobile avec
un chiffon propre. Polir vigoureusement les rayures et les surfaces ternies. Essuyer les résidus. Passer
ensuite une couche de cire blanche automobile. Ne pas appliquer de cire sur les surfaces sur lesquelles on
se tient debout ou on marche.
Nettoyage du clavier
Essuyer avec un chiffon doux après chaque emploi. Si la surface devient sale, utiliser un savon doux
et de l’eau tiède.
Entretien des jets d’air
Si le nettoyage des jets d’air est nécessaire, employer une petite brosse à dents et du vinaigre blanc.
Tremper la brosse dans le vinaigre, brosser l’orifice, rincer la brosse à l’eau claire et rincer l’orifice à
l’aide de la brosse rincée.
Remplir la baignoire jusqu’à la rangée supérieure des jets d’air. La vider puis appuyer sur le bouton
de purge.
Garantie limitée cinq ans - Modèles K-1357 et K-1151 uniquement
Pour l’Amérique du nord uniquement
Kohler Co. garantit que le corps en acrylique de la baignoire et/ou de la baignoire à hydromassage est sans
défauts, ceci pour une période de cinq années et pour un usage normal domestique, cela à partir de la date
d’installation du produit. Les ternissements, rayures, taches ou les érosions alcalines sur l’acrylique dûes à
une usure temporelle, ne sont pas considérés comme des défauts de fabrication, ainsi que les pratiques de
nettoyage ou les conditions atmosphériques ou d’eau mais plutôt comme des signes d’une usure normale.
Cette garantie s’applique uniquement aux baignoires et baignoires à hydromassage installées aux É.U., au
Canada et au Mexique.
Tous les autres composants de la baignoire à hydromassage, y compris mais sans s’y limiter, au
moteur/pompe, jets, harnais, garnitures autres qu’en acrylique, ont une garantie Kohler limitée d’un an.
Si la baignoire à hydromassage est utilisée dans un commerce ou bien est installée hors des États Unis,
Kohler Co. garantit le revêtement en acrylique contre tout défaut matériel et de fabrication pour un (1) et ceci
à partir de la date d’installation, en plus de respecter tous les autres termes de cette garantie, excepté la
durée.
Si un défaut est décelé en cours d’un usage normal domestique, Kohler Co. décidera, à son choix, de réparer,
remplacer ou de effectuer les réglages appropriés. Cette garantie n’offre pas de protection contre les
dommages causés par un accident, mauvais usage ou mauvais traitement. Un entretien et un nettoyage non
appropriés annuleront cette garantie. Une preuve d’achat (ticket de caisse original) doit être présentée à
