OPERATING INSTRUCTIONS
Close your drain (TO AVOID SLOW DRAINAGE MAKE SURE YOUR DRAIN WAS PROPERLY TESTED AND
ADJUSTED DURING THE INSTALLATION PROCESS)(See page 9 for adjustment procedures) and the
door, secure the door lock mechanism by moving the lever to its furthest forward position and begin
filling the bath with clean water at the desired temperature. The final water depth should be two inches
(2”) above the highest jet before activating the pump.
NEVER ATTEMPT TO RUN THE PUMP/MOTOR WITH LESS WATER THAN THIS IN THE BATH.
1. Your whirlpool bath is equipped with an ON/OFF pneumatic air activated transmitter switch/button. To
start the whirlpool system, simply depress the air switch transmitter button (pictured below) and the
pump will turn on. Depress again to shut it off.
2. Your walk-in bathtub may or may not contain an air-mixing control knob mounted high inside the walls
of the tub bowl or on the flat deck surface. This controls the air that mixes with water coming out of
the jets. You can increase the air supply by opening the air control in a counter-clockwise direction.
You will enjoy more therapeutic “tingle” as you increase the air supply. NOTE: THE USE OF BUBBLE
BATH, OILS OR FOAMING PRODUCTS IS DEFINITELY NOT RECOMMENDED.
3. Some whirlpool jets may be directional and are adjusted by the tip of your finger tip.
4. WARNING: Prolonged immersion in hot water may induce extremely high body temperatures
(hypothermia). This is the loss of fluid and salt from the body thru excessive sweating. Dizziness,
weakness, headache, nausea, sometimes muscular cramps and sudden feeling of faintness arthe
usual early symptoms.

CARE AND MAINTENANCE
This beautiful Acrylic surface is amongst the glossiest, highest quality materials available. It’s hard, non-
porous surface prevents dirt from accumulating and resists stains better than other materials. With
normal use, acrylic is so durable it will retain its beauty with only minimum care. To maintain the high
gloss, elegant look of acrylic, follow these simple steps:
1. Use common household non-abrasive cleaners for most cleaning jobs, i.e. Lysol Basin, Tub & Tile Cleaner,
Glass Plus, Mr. Clean, Top Job; detergent such as Ivory Liquid. Follow manufacturer's directions and
precautions. Rinse well and dry with a soft, clean cloth.
2. Do not allow your bathtub surface to come in contact with products such as acetone (nail polish remover),
nail polish, dry cleaning solution, lacquer thinners, gasoline, pine oil, etc.
3. Remove dust and dirt with a soft, damp cloth.
4. Clean grease, oil, paint and ink stains with isopropyl (rubbing) alcohol. Dry with a clean, soft cloth.
5. Avoid using razor blades or other sharp instruments that might scratch the surface. Small scratches can be
removed by applying a thin coat of automotive past wax and buffing lightly with a clean cloth. For deep
scratches, consult with a professional restoration specialist.
6. WARNING: Please note that any service or maintenance other than described above should be performed
by a qualified service representative. Call your dealer for a qualified service representative near you.
7. Attention: Another very important area to maintain is the door drain located at the bottom of your door
opening. You can see this drain only when the door is in the open position. Important: Please be sure
to keep it clean and free of debris at all times.
8. To clean door drain line use a can of compressed air (generally used on computers). Insert the air can tube
into the drain hole and depress the button on the top of the can.
