• If the unit uses a mains supply, ensure that the plug is securely inserted into the mains socket,
and it is easily accessible.
• Protect the power lead from sharp objects, excessive heat and damp or wet locations. Check
the power lead periodically, and replace if damaged.
• Check that the voltage on the rating plate of your product corresponds with your local electricity
supply which must be A.C. (Alternating Current).
• Any repairs should only be carried out by a fully qualified electrician or an authorised service
agent.
• If the supply cord is damaged, it must be replaced by the manufacturer, its service agent or

To protect against any electrical hazards, DO NOT place unit or cord in water or
any other liquids.
Do not touch any hot surfaces. Use oven mitts for removing or touching any hot
parts. Always place Toast Oven on heat protected surface.
Leave about 100-150mm open space all around the exterior of this appliance.
Place the appliance on a dry, horizontal surface.
Unplug the unit from outlet when not in use and before cleaning. Always allow to
cool before attaching or removing any parts.
The use of accessory attachments not recommended by the appliance manufacturer
may cause injuries.
Always pull the plug out from the wall – never pull the cord. Remove the plug from
the wall be fore moving the appliance. Use both hands to move the appliance.
Do not let cord hang over edge of table or counter, or touch hot surface.
Do not place the Toaster Oven inside an heated oven or near a hot flame or electric
burner.
Do not use outdoors
If the electric circuit is overloaded with other appliances, this appliance may not
operate properly. The Toaster Oven should be operated on a separate electrical
circuit from other operating appliances.
The temperature of accessible surfaces may be high when the appliance is
operating.
If the supply cord is damaged, it must be replaced by the manufacturer or its
service agent or a similarly qualified person in order to avoid a hazard.
Store only the accessories provided with this unit inside the oven when not in use.
Do not store any other materials.
A fire may occur if the appliance is covered or touching flammable material,
including curtains, draperies, walls, and the like, when in operation. Do not put
any items on top of the appliance when in operation.
Do not place any cardboard, paper or plastic inside the oven.
All containers placed inside the oven must not be airtight. Also, they need to have
enough room to allow for expansion of fluids.
Clean this appliance regularly as build – up of grease may cause a fire. Make
sure that this appliance is not placed near curtains, any drapery, or other flammable
material.
Do not clean with metal scouring pads. Pieces can break off the pad and touch
electrical parts involving a risk of electric shock.
In order to prevent accidental burns, always use the handle and knobs to operate
this appliance.
The temperature of the door or outer surface may be high when the appliance
operating.
Oversize foods or metal utensils must not be inserted in a toast oven as they
may create a fire or risk of electric shock.
Do not cover crumb tray or any part of the oven with metal foil. This will cause
overheating of the oven.
Extreme caution should be exercised when using containers constructed of
other than metal or glass.
This appliance is not intended for use by persons (including children ) with

OPERATION OPERATION
BEFORE USING YOUR OVEN
- Before using your oven for the first
time, be sure to:
1. Make sure oven is unplugged and
Timer Knob D is in the OFF
position.
See fig. 1.
2. Remove all racks and trays. Wash
in hot soapy water or in
dishwasher.
3. Thoroughly dry all accessories and
re-assemble in oven.
4. Place Oven on a flat counter or
other stable surface.
NOTE: Do not operate on the same
circuit with another appliance.
5. Position the Oven so that it is at
least 5cm from any surrounding
objects. Ensure that nothing has
been placed on top of the Oven.
Plug the Power Cord into the
mains socket.
NOTE: Make sure your local voltage
is 230V/240V~, 50Hz.
NOTE: The oven may smoke
during this process. This is
normal for a new Oven and
will not last more than 15
minutes.
6. After re-assembling your oven,
turn the Temperature Knob B
to 250°C and turn the Timer
Knob D to 15 minutes to
eliminate any oil coatings on
parts after production.

ABOUT CONTROL SETTINGS
Time Setting
- Timer Range 0-60 Minutes: The
Timer can be set up to 60 minutes.
The oven will not turn "stay on"
without the timer being set. When
the
Timer Knob D is in the "off"
position, the oven will not operate.
To set the time, turn the knob to
the desired time. Indicator Light
set.

IMPORTANT NOTE:
Stay On Time - If you have not
finished cooking you can set the
Time Knob D to "Stay On" and
the oven will stay on. It will Not

until you hear the bell ring.

Adjusting Time
- The Timer can be changed during
cooking. Adjust the timer to the
desired time and continue

HOW TO USE
Toasting
1. Turn the Temperature Knob B
clockwise to "Toast" position.
See fig. 7.
2. Open the Oven Door F and place
sliced bread on the Grill Rack

NOTE: The thermostat will only
activate when turned to an angle
greater than 45°-75°.
3. Time Setting - Select the length
of time to toast your chosen food.
It is advisable to test the toasting
function by starting at a short time,
increasing it to suit your toasting
preferences.
NOTE: To set the timer for 5 minutes
or less, turn the timer to over 5
minutes, then back to your chosen
time. This ensures that the timer
is accurately set.
HOW TO USE THE OVEN
CAUTION: The oven surfaces will
be hot during and after use.
General Instructions
1. Place the Grill Rack
that will accommodate the height
of the food to be cooked.

2. Place the food on the Rack. Make
sure that you always use an
ovenproof container in the oven.
NOTE: Never use plastic or cardboard
containers in the Oven.
NOTE: Never use glass or ceramic
pans or lids.
NOTE: DO NOT let juices run to the
bottom of the oven. Use the Food
Tray K when cooking.

3. Set the temperature as suggested
by the recipe or as desired.
4. Securely shut the door and set the
cooking time to begin operating
the oven.

Broiling
1. Slide in the Food Tray K under
the Grill Rack

element will work.
NOTE: We always suggest preheating
oven about 3-5 minutes before
cooking the food.

5. Depending on the food you are
cooking, set an appropriate time
with the Timer Knob D. If you
need to cook food longer than 60
minutes, set the Timer to the Stay
On setting.

NOTE: When using the Stay On
setting, you must manually stop
the timer.
NOTE: Always check the food when
using this setting to prevent
overcooking. If required, turn the
food over for even cooking.
NOTE: Food and tray will become
very hot. Use suitable oven gloves
to prevent burning to hands.
4. When toasting is finished the bell
will ring and the electrical power
is automatically turned off. To stop
the cycle at any time, turn the
Timer Knob D clockwise to "off"
position and the bell will ring.

NOTE: The bread may catch fire if
the toasting time is too long. Close
supervision is necessary during
toasting.
NOTE: Do not set the timer for long
periods of time.
5. When set to Toast, both the
heating elements will work.

ABOUT RACK LEVELS
- There are 2 rack levels. The Food
Tray or Grill Rack can be inserted
on either level, depending on your
cooking requirements.
See fig. 14.
Baking
1. Slide the Food Tray
bottom rack level. K into the

3. When setting in Bake, only
bottom heating element will work.
NOTE: We always suggest
preheating oven 5 minutes at this
setting before cooking the food.
4. Turn the Temperature Knob B

CARE AND CLEANING CARE AND CLEANING
TO STORE
- Unplug unit, allow to cool and clean
before storing. Never wrap cord
tightly around the appliance, use
the Cord Storage area on the back
of the oven. Do not pull on the cord
where it enters the unit, as this
could damage the cord.
NOTE:
Always Unplug and allow to cool
before cleaning
CARE AND CLEANING
1. Before cleaning unplug the toaster
oven and allow it to cool
completely.
2. Wash all the attachments with
mild, soapy water including the
rack and the baking tray.
3. Do not use abrasive cleaners,
scrubbing brushes and chemical
cleaner as this will cause damage
to the non-stick coating of baking
tray.
4. Use a wet cloth to wipe the inner
surfaces of the oven.
5. Clean the door by using a wet
cloth and detergent or soap.
6. Never immerse the unit in water
or other liquid.

IMPORTANT
This unit is a Class 1 Appliance and must be fitted
with an Earthed Plug fitted with a 13A fuse.
The wires in this mains lead are coloured as follows:
Yellow & Green-Earth
Blue-Neutral
Brown-Live
As the colours of the wires in the mains lead of this
apparatus may not correspond with the coloured
markings identifying the terminals in your plug,
proceed as follows:
The wire which is Coloured Yellow & Green must be connected to the terminal
which is marked E or coloured Yellow or Green. The wire which is coloured blue
must be connected to the terminal which is marked with N or coloured blue. The
wire which is coloured brown must be connected to the terminal which is marked
L or coloured brown. Always ensure that the plug cord grip is fastened correctly.
If a 13A (BS1363) fused plug is used it must be fitted with a 13A fuse conforming
to BS1362 and be ASTA approved. If in doubt contact a qualified electrician.
