CARACTÉRISTIQUES
Compte tenu du fait que fumer n´est pas
une maladie, ARKO-CIG DUO n’est ni un
médicament ni un dispositif médical. ARKO-
CIG DUO est un dispositif qui reproduit les
sensations physiques qu’on ressent en fumant.
La vapeur émise n’est ni polluante pour
l’environnement, ni gênante pour les personnes
vous entourant, car elle est produite par
évaporation de propylène-glycol, composant
bien connu dans le domaine alimentaire, qui
dégage une vapeur aromatisée par des huiles
essentielles.
En aspirant, vous verrez qu’une lumière
orange s’allume à l’extrémité du dispositif :
cette lumière indique que le dispositif est en
fonctionnement. Le dispositif électronique
ARKO-CIG DUO se recharge par connexion au
réseau électrique, sur un allume cigare ou au
port USB d’un ordinateur.

Rekening houdend met het feit dat roken geen
ziekte is, is ARKO-CIG DUO geen geneesmiddel
noch een medisch hulpmiddel. ARKO-
CIG DUO is een apparaat dat de fysieke
gevoelens die worden ervaren tijdens het
roken, probeert te reproduceren. De damp die
wordt uitgestoten, is niet verontreinigend en
veroorzaakt geen overlast voor de omgeving
en de personen om u heen. Het ontstaat
vanwege de verdamping van propyleenglycol,
een onderdeel dat wijdverbreid bekend is in de

voedingswereld en dat een gearomatiseerde
damp produceert door de essentiële oliën die
het bevat. Bij het inhaleren gaat er een oranje
licht branden aan het uiteinde van het apparaat.
Dit licht geeft aan dat het apparaat in werking is.
Het elektronisch apparaat ARKO-CIG DUO wordt
opgeladen door het op het elektriciteitsnet of via
een USB-poort aan een computer aan te sluiten.
FEATURES
As smoking is not an illness, bear in mind
that ARKO-CIG DUO is not a medicine or a
medical device. ARKO-CIG DUO is a device
that reproduces the physical sensations which
occur with smoking. The smoke or vapor
emitted by the device does not pollute nor does
it have any negative effects on the environment
or other persons in the vicinity as it is generated
by evaporation of propylene glycol, a well
known component in the food industry, which
produces a smoke or vapor with the aroma of
the essential oils that it contains. As you inhale
you will notice that the device has an orange
light which lights up to indicate that the device
is functioning. The electronic device ARKO-CIG
DUO can be recharged by connecting it to the
electricity network or by using a computer USB
port.

MODE D’EMPLOI
Chargez complètement la batterie en suivant
les instructions indiquées au paragraphe 4.
Déballez les recharges (cartridges), enlevez
l’embout protecteur de l’une d’elle et vissez-la
sur le dispositif (les recharges sont disponibles
séparément) et aspirez jusqu’à ce que de la
vapeur se produise.
Vous remarquerez qu’une lumière orange
s’allume à l’extrémité du dispositif.
Le dispositif fonctionne proportionnellement à
la force avec laquelle on aspire.
Quand vous arrêterez d’aspirer, le dispositif
arrêtera de fonctionner et ne produira pas du
tout de vapeur.
Pour éviter le réchauffement de l’atomiseur,
évitez d’aspirer plus de 5 secondes de suite.
Si ARKO-CIG DUO cesse de produire de la
vapeur, rechargez la batterie du dispositif et/
ou remplacez la recharge (pour plus de détails,
consultez le paragraphe 6).
Le goût des recharges peut s’altérer avec le
temps.
GEBRUIKSAANWIJZING
Laad de batterij helemaal op volgens de in het
punt 4 aangegeven aanwijzingen.
Neem de navullingen, verwijder de bescherm-
kap van één van hen en schroef op het toestel
(navullingen zijn apart verkrijgbaar) en inhaleer
totdat er damp ontstaat. U zult zien dat er een
oranje licht aangaat aan het uiteinde van het

apparaat.
Het apparaat werkt in evenredigheid met de
kracht waarmee geïnhaleerd. Wanneer er niet
wordt geïnhaleerd, zal het apparaat niet werken
en zal er geen damp worden gevormd.
Om een opwarming van de vaporisator te
voorkomen, dient u niet meer dan 5 seconden
achtereen te inhaleren. Indien het ARKO-CIG
DUO geen damp meer uitstoot, dient de batterij
van het apparaat te worden opgeladen en/of
dient de navulling te worden vervangen (zie
punt 6 voor meer informatie).
De smaak van de navullingen kan veranderen
met de tijd.
METHOD OF USE
Fully charge the battery following the guidelines
indicated in section 4.
Unpack the refills, remove the protective cover
from one of them and screw on the device (refills
are available separately) and inhale until smoke
appears. You will note that an orange light
appears at the end of the device.
The device operates on the basis of the force of
inhalation. When you stop inhaling, the device
ceases to function and does not produce any
vapor.
In order to avoid overheating of the atomizer,
do not inhale for more than 5 seconds at a time.
If the ARKO-CIG DUO stops emitting smoke,
recharge the battery of the device and/or
replace the refill (for more details see section 6).
The taste of the refills may change with the time.

CHARGEMENT DE BATTERIE
1. Vissez la batterie (cigarette électronique) au
connecteur USB.
2. Branchez le connecteur USB soit directement
au port USB d’un ordinateur, soit au secteur
via l’adaptateur 240v, soit à un allume cigare
de voiture via l’adaptateur 12-24v.
3. La lumière LED présente sur le connecteur
USB indique la charge de la batterie. La
lumière rouge passe au vert lorsque la
batterie est chargée.
Pour le premier chargement, il est recommandé
de connecter le dispositif au réseau pendant 8
heures.
Le temps de chargement normal de la batterie
est de 1 à 3 heures.
Pour assurer une vie optimale du dispositif, il
faut le recharger complètement.
Recharger une batterie sans qu’elle ne soit
complètement déchargée peut affecter sa ca-
pacité d’origine.
N’oubliez pas de débrancher le chargeur quand
le chargement aura été complété.
OPLADEN VAN DE BATTERIJ
1. Schroef de batterij (elektronische sigaret) op
de USB-connector.
2. Sluit de USB-connector onmiddellijk aan op
de USB-poort van een computer of op een
AC-adapter 240v of op een sigarettenaanste-
ker in de auto via de 12-24v-adapter.
3. Het LED licht van de USB-aansluiting geeft
een indicatie van de batterijlading.
Er wordt aangeraden om voor de eerste opla-
ding het apparaat gedurende 8 uur op het elek-
triciteitsnet aan te sluiten.

De normale laadtijd van de batterij is 1 tot 3
uren.
Voor een optimale levensduur van het apparaat
dient het maximaal te worden opgeladen.
Het opladen van een batterij die niet helemaal
leeg is, kan invloed hebben op haar originele
capaciteit.
Vergeet niet de lader te ontkoppelen zodra het
laden is voltooid.
CHARGING THE BATTERY
1• Screw the battery (electronic cigarette) to the
USB connector.
2. Connect the USB connector directly into the
USB port of a computer or an AC adapter
240v or a cigarette lighter in the car via the
12-24v adapter.
3. The LED light on the USB connector gives an
indication of the battery charge.
For the first charge we recommend connecting
the device to the network for 8 hours.
The normal battery charging period is 1 to 3
hours.
In order to maintain the working life of the de-
vice for as long as possible it should be fully
charged.
Charging a battery when it is not completely flat
may affect its original capacity.
Do not forget to unplug the charger when
charging is complete.

MISES EN GARDE
Ce dispositif électronique n’est pas un jouet ; ne le
laissez pas à la portée des enfants ; n’ouvrez pas le
dispositif, ni ne touchez ses circuits et mécanismes
internes ; conservez toujours le dispositif et les
recharges dans un endroit frais et sec ; afin de ne pas
abîmer le dispositif ou ses composants électroniques,
évitez les coups, les mouvements brusques, les
vibrations excessives, ainsi que leur exposition à la
poussière, à des températures extrêmes ou à des
sources de chaleur (soleil, proximité de poêles,
intérieur de la voiture pendant la journée…) ; n’utilisez
pas le produit quand vous conduisez, car cela pourrait
distraire votre attention ; ne jetez pas le dispositif au
feu, ni à la poubelle. Assurez-vous de le déposer dans
un conteneur spécial destiné aux piles usagées pour
son recyclage ultérieur ; ce dispositif peut produire
une irritation des yeux, de la peau et du système
respiratoire ; en cas d’irritation, lavez la région avec
beaucoup d’eau ; en cas de contact avec les yeux,
rincez aussitôt avec beaucoup d’eau et consultez
le médecin ; n’utilisez pas le dispositif dans des cas
connus d’allergies respiratoires à l’un des ingrédients
du produit ; ne l’utilisez pas en cas d’affections
respiratoires, telles que l’asthme ou d’autres affections
des bronches ou des reins ; il est recommandé de
ne pas inhaler les vapeurs pour prévenir d’éventuels
problèmes respiratoires ; une consommation
excessive peut produire une sècheresse de la bouche
et de la gorge ; les femmes enceintes ou allaitantes,
les personnes souffrant de troubles cardiovasculaires
ou les personnes de moins de dix-huit ans ne doivent
pas l’utiliser. Avant de porter le dispositif à la bouche,
assurez-vous d’avoir placé comme il faut la recharge.
Vous ne devez pas inhaler sans la recharge.

als u een voertuig bestuurt, daar het uw aandacht
zou kunnen afleiden. Gooi het apparaat niet in het
vuur of in de vuilnismand. Zorg ervoor dat het in
een container wordt weggegooid dat bestemd is

voor het recyclen van gebruikte batterijen.Het kan
de ogen, huid en luchtwegen irriteren. In geval van
irritatie dient er met veel water te worden gespoeld.
Indien het in contact komt met de ogen, dienen deze
direct met veel water te worden gespoeld. Neem
contact op met een arts. Gebruik het niet in geval
van bekende luchtwegallergieën voor enige van
de ingrediënten van het product. Gebruik het niet in
geval van aandoeningen aan de luchtwegen, zoals
astma of andere aandoeningen van de bronchiën
of nieren.Het is raadzaam de damp niet te inhaleren
of in te slikken, om mogelijke problemen van de
luchtwegen te voorkomen. Een overmatig gebruik
kan droogheid van de mond en keel veroorzaken. Het
dient niet te worden gebruikt door zwangere vrouwen,
vrouwen die borstvoeding geven, personen met hart-
en vaataandoeningen of minderjarigen.Voor u het
apparaat in uw mond steekt, dient u te controleren dat
de navulling juist geplaatst is. Het apparaat nooit direct
inademen zonder navulling.
WARNINGS
This electronic device is not a toy. Do not leave the
device within the reach of children.Do not open the
device or touch the circuits or internal mechanisms.
Always keep the device and the refills in a cool dry
place.To prevent damage to the device or its electronic
components, avoid any brusque movements or
blows, or excessive vibrations, and ensure that it is
not exposed to dust, to extreme temperatures or
heat sources (sun, proximity to heaters, car interior all
day long etc). Do not use the product while driving as
your attention could be perturbed.Do not throw the
device in the fire or in the rubbish bin. Make sure that
you place it in a special container for collection of
used batteries for further recycling. The product may
irritate the eyes, skin and respiratory system. In case of
irritation, wash with copious amounts of water. In case
of contact with eyes, rinse immediately with copious
amounts of water and consult a doctor. Do not use in
cases where there is a known respiratory allergy to any
of the product ingredients. Do not use in the case of
respiratory problems such as asthma or other ailments
of the lungs or the kidneys. It is advisable not to inhale
or swallow the vapor in order to avoid any possible
respiratory problems. Excessive consumption may
produce dryness of the mouth and throat. The product
should not be used by pregnant or lactating women,
persons suffering from cardiovascular problems, or
persons under the age of 18. Before using the device,
make sure that you have inserted the refill correctly. Do
not inhale directly if it has not been refilled.

INCIDENTS ÉVENTUELS
1. Lorsque la vapeur émise est réduite mais que
la lumière de la cigarette brille avec force,
changez la recharge.
2. Lorsque la lumière de la cigarette ne s’allume
plus et que la vapeur émise est réduite,
chargez la batterie.
3. Lorsque la lumière de la cigarette clignote
pendant plusieurs secondes, utilisez la
deuxième batterie.
En cas de mauvais fonctionnement du dispositif :
assurez-vous que la batterie du dispositif est
bien chargée et/ou que l’embout est bien placé.
MOGELIJKE VOORVALLEN
1. Als de dampuitstoting vermindert, maar het
licht van de sigaret sterk gloeit, vervang de
navulling.
2. Als het licht van de sigaret niet meer brandt
en indien de dampuitstoting vermindert, laad
de batterij op.
3. Als het licht van de sigaret knippert
gedurende meerdere seconden, gebruik de
tweede batterij.
Bij slechte werking van het apparaat:
controleer dat de batterij van het apparaat
goed is opgeladen en/of het mondstuk goed
aangesloten is.

POSSIBLE PROBLEMS
1. If the vapor ejection is reduced but the light
of the cigarette glows brightly, replace the
cartridge.
2. If the light of the cigarette is off and the vapor
ejection is reduced, charge the battery.
3. If the light of the cigarette flashes for several
seconds, use the second battery.
If the device is not working properly: ensure that
the device’s battery is properly charged and/or
that the mouthpiece is properly connected.

GARANTIE DE BASE
Comme tout dispositif électronique, celui-ci a
une durée de vie qui dépendra des conditions
d’usage et de la fréquence de celui-ci.
ARKO-CIG DUO est composé de parties
consommables qui s’usent à l’usage et par
conséquent, la garantie ne couvre que les
défauts éventuels de fabrication qui rendraient
impossible sa mise en marche.
Seuls sont couverts par la garantie les chargeurs
de courant et l’adaptateur USB.
Selon la loi des Garanties de vente des biens de
consommation ; Loi 23/2003 du 10 Juillet.
GARANTIE
Zoals bij elk elektronisch apparaat, hangt de
bruikbare levensduur af van de gebruiksomstan-
digheden en -frequentie van het apparaat.
ARKO-CIG DUO bestaat uit verbruikbare onder-
delen die slijten door gebruik. Om deze reden
dekt de garantie enkel mogelijke fabricage-
defecten die de werking van het apparaat niet
mogelijk maken.
Enkel de elektriciteitslader en de USB-adapter
worden gedekt door de garantie.
Volgens de wet van garantie van verbruiksartike-
len; Wet 23/2003 van 10 juli.
GUARANTEE OF USE
As with any electronic device, the inhaler has a
useful life which will depend on the conditions of
use and the frequency with which it is used.
The ARKO-CIG DUO comprises consumable
parts which wear out with use and therefore the
guarantee only covers possible manufacturing
defects which prevent it from working properly.
Only the battery charger and USB adaptor are
subject to guarantee.
