1. Power your base station and
add it to your Arlo account
Select your Arlo device.

2. Power your camera and
add it to your Arlo account
a. Insert and charge the battery.
Before you use your camera wirelessly,
we recommend that you charge the
battery. (See page 10.)
b. Use the Arlo app to add the camera
to your Arlo account
Select your Arlo device.

Before you use your camera wirelessly, we recommend that you charge the battery.
For AC power indoor use, connect the AC power adapter to an indoor electrical outlet.
Note: To use an outdoor AC power connection, you need the Arlo Pro outdoor power
adapter (sold separately).

Place or mount your camera
You can place your camera on a flat surface or mount it
on a wall. Choose a location with a clear, unblocked field
of view and with a good signal to your base station.
Use the wall mount
• Fasten the mounting screw into the wall.
If you’re mounting the camera on drywall, use
the plastic drywall anchors that we provide.
• Hang the mount from the screw.

3. Power your doorbell and
add it to your Arlo account
a. Insert two AA batteries into your
doorbell; your doorbell runs on
battery power.
b. Use your app to set up your Arlo
Doorbell and add it to your account.
Select your Arlo device.

Mount your Arlo doorbell
1. Secure the battery cover on your wall
using the provided screws.
2. Attach the doorbell to the battery
cover.
3. Secure the Arlo doorbell with the screw
on the bottom of the battery cover.

4. Power your chime and
add it to your account
Note: Your chime must be used indoors.
a. Plug your chime into an indoor power outlet.
b. Use your app to set up your Arlo Chime and
add it to your Arlo account.
Select your Arlo device.

Use your Arlo app
Use your app to set up and manage all your Arlo devices and your Arlo account.
