protection
circuit
which
will
eject
the
tape
ifitis
loaded
improperly.
Ifthe
VCR
ejects
the
tape
you
are
trying
to
load,
remove
it
completely
and
check
that
the
long
narrowedge
with
the
contentslabel
is
facingtowards
youand
that
the
clear
plasticwindow
that
shows
the
video
tape
is
facingupwards.Then
try
again.

position
the
cassetteproperly beforeinserting
it
inthe
cassette
slot,
hold
the
cassette
so
that
the
longnarrowedge
with
the
contentslabelfaces
towards
you.
The
otherlongnarrowedge
is
hinged
and
shouldfacetowards
the
VCR.The
clearplastic
window
that
shows
the
videotapeshouldface
upward.

Gentlyinsert
the
videotape
into
the
cassetteslot
toa
point
where
the
VCR
automaticallyretracts
the
cassette.

When
you
insert
the
videotape,
be
sure
to
orient
it
squarely
tothe
slot.
UNLOADING

EJECT

onthe
front
ofthe
VCR.

Remove
the
cassette.
Your
VCR
will
eject
a
video cassetteeven
ifitisin
Standbymode.When
the
EJECT
button
is
pressed,
the
VCR
will
automaticallyeject
the
tape.
Itisnot
possible
to
eject
a
tape
while
recording
without
first
pressing
the
stop
button.
A
tape
cannot
be
ejected
when
the
VCR
is
locked.
