Getting Started Guide
1.
Buttons and Indicators
O Left Indicator: Press on Fn+c, the left indicator

Fn+Function Keys Notice
Provide shortcuts to useful functions, first press and hold the
Fn
Key; then press the function key you want to use.
Press Fn+Esc, turn on I off the
Fn
lock, the default keys could be
switch from F1-F12 to be function keys.
Steps of
Pa
iring the Keyboard with Your Device
Step
1:
On the keyboard, press the power button, the blue
power light will
il
luminate for 3 seconds and then turn off
to save power. Your keyboard
is
still on. If the keyboard
is
in sleep mode or power on, the indicator won't be
on
if you
press the any button to wake
it
up.
Step
2:
Press Fn+c button, the left indicator
wi
ll
be blinking blue.
Step
3:
Touch the screen
of
your Surface, Click
Start>
Settings
> Devices
>Add
Bluetooth or other device > Bluetooth.
Step
4:
Your Surface will display "Bluetooth 3.0 keyboard"
as
an
available device.
Step
5:
Click "bluetooth 3.0 keyboard" on your Surface, the
keyboard
is
paired to your Surface now.
Notice: The magnetic attachment
is
for physical attaching to the
Surface Go, the connection
is
via bluetooth only.
When the keyboard
is
in
sleep mode, you cannot wake up the
keyboard or touchpad by touching the touchpad, you need to press
any key (except the power key) to wake up the keyboard.
Charge the Battery
Turn on the Bluetooth keyboard.
The right indicator (red) will illuminate for 3 seconds and then turn
off to save power. Your keyboard
is
still on.
Ifthe right indicator light keep blinking red, it means the battery
is
low, you need
to
charge the keyboard with below steps:
1.
Plug the Micro USB charging cable into the keyboard.
2.
Plug the USB plug on a computer or USB power adaptor.
3.
Charge for 1-3 hours, or until the right indicator become from red
to be steady green.
Caution:
1. When not
in
use for a prolonged period, it
is
recommended that
you turn off the keyboard to lengthen battery life.
You
can turn off
the keyboard by pressing the power button for 3 seconds, the right
indicator will blink green for 3 times when the keyboard
is
being
turned off. 3
Energy-saving
Sl
eep Mode
Keyboard's long life battery lasts for several months
of
normal
use. The keyboard will go into sleep mode if left
on
and not being
used; press any key (except the power key) and wait a second or
two to bring it out
of
sleep mode.
& Safety Caution
1. Keep the item away from sharp objects.
2.
Do
not place heavy object on the keyboard.
3.
Away from microwave items.
4.
Do
not force or distorted the keyboard.
5.
Keep away from
oi
l, chemical or other organic liquid.
Troubleshooting
1.
If the touch pad is not working but the keys are working, you need
to press Fn+space bar to turn on the touch pad.
2.
If the keys are not working, you can turn off the keyboard by
pressing the power button for 3 seconds (the right indicator will
blink 3 times when the keyboard
is
being turned off) then press the
power button to turn on the keyboard (the right indicator will
be
solid
green for 3 seconds when the keyboard
is
turning on from power off).
3. Ensure the battery storage has power.
4.
Make sure the Bluetooth in Surface
is
on.
5.
Ensure bluetooth keyboard have already match with Surface via
bluetooth.
