Artone MIC
Wireless Microphone

Thank you for choosing Artone.
Artone MIC is a wireless microphone that enables
clear sound transmission over distance.
Artone MIC enhances understanding over
distance in situations of high ambient noise,
transmitting the speaker's voice directly to the
user's hearing aid or Cochlear implant via Artone
streamer.
earing aid user and Cochlear implant users
can use Artone MIC in any environment to
enhance the function of their hearing device and
understand clearly in loud situations, in school
lectures, in group meetings or over distance.
The sound from the audio source is picked up
by the wireless microphone and streamed directly
to the Artone streamer, and subsequently to the
user's hearing device. The sound received by the
hearing device will be much easier to process, as it
will not have all the added noise that sound is
picking up when traveling from distance.
The compact design and internal rechargeable
battery provides long play time and versatility in
use.
The Artone MIC is the ideal solution to
stream clear audio signal without delay or
interference.

1.3 Control functions

Power On/Off Move the On/OFF switch to

2. Using the device
2.1 Charging
The Artone MIC has a built-in
rechargeable battery that provides long periods
of operation and standby time.
1. Insert one end of Micro USB charging
cable to the Artone MIC USB socket and plug
the other end into another standard USB power
source.
2. When using the device for the first time,
charge it for minimum of 2 hours to its full
capacity.
3. When the LED charging indicator turns
BLUE, the Artone MIC is ready for use/ the
battery is fully charged.

2.2 Pairing
Artone MIC is developped to work with
Artone streamer. owever, it can also be paired
to other Bluetooth receivers.
1. Initiate the pairing sequence on your
receiver (consult the instruction manual of your
receiver).
2. Switch on the Artone MIC. The LEDs will
shine blue and red alternatively (this process
can can take up to 10-20 seconds, then the
pairing process is initiated).
3. When the pairing process is completed, the
operation will be confirmed by a sequence of
flashes of the blue LED.
2.3 Using the Artone MIC
2.3.1 Adjusting the sensivity of the Artone
MIC
Artone MIC can be used in situation of high
ambient noise and quiet “classroom”
environment.
a. situations with high ambient noise
(restaurant, group meeting etc.): put the
Artone MIC as close as possible to the
sound source (clip it to the speaker’s
collar) and decrease the sensitivity on
the Artone MIC to desired level. The
lower the sensitivity level, the clearer the
sound will be. Adjust the volume setting
on your Artone streamer.
b. quiet “classroom” environment: put the
Artone MIC on a desk as close as

possible to the speaker and increase the
sensitivity on the Artone MIC to desired
level. The higher the sensitivity level is
set, the further from the speaker the
Artone MIC can be placed. Adjust the
volume setting on your Artone streamer.
2.3.2 Using the Artone MIC with the lapel
microphone (optional)
In situations of
- outdoor activity when weather
conditions (wind, rain) do not allow
clear sound transmission
- when frequent adjustment of volume and
sensitivity is needed
- in situations of extra high ambient noise,
lowering the sensitivity of the Artone
MIC to minimum and using the lapel
microphone in close distance will allow
clearer voice transmission
2.3.3 Using the Artone MIC with the
televion or other audio source (optional)
Plug in the audio cable (optional) into the
3,5mm headphone jack of your audio device
(e.g. television). Clear sound from your audio
source is then streamed directly into your
Artone streamer and then into your hearing
device.
When the audio cable is connected to the
3,5mm headphone jack of your audio device,
the internal microphone of the Artone MIC will
be disconnected.

Note
• The Artone MIC will enter pairing mode
automatically when powered on for the first
time.
• The Artone MIC can remember
previously paired devices and will attempt to
pair with devices automatically, without
going into pairing mode.
• Pairing mode will last 2 minutes. The
receiver will enter standby mode if no
devices can be connected within 2 minutes.
3. FAQs
1. The Artone MIC does not turn on.
Please charge it.
2. Problems with pairing to a receiver
(Artone streamer).
Turn off and then turn on both of the devices.
Place the devices within 20 cm from each other
and repeat the pairing process.
3. No sound playing from the connected
and paired receiver (streamer)
Please, make sure the following:
- the Artone MIC “mute” button is not
pressed
- the sensitivity setting is not at its lowest
level

- the Artone streamer volume is at
adequate level
- when using with hearing aid or Cochlear
implant, make sure the T-Coil setting on
your hearing aid or Cochlear implant is
activated.
4. Safety Information
To avoid any damage or malfunction of
the Artone MIC, follow the next rules.
1. Do not drop from high places.
2. Keep this device away from humidity,
water and all other liquids.
3. Do not place or keep near any heat
source.
4. Do not modify, repair or disassemble
this device, especially the battery.
5. Do not place heavy objects on the
device.
6. Keep the device out of reach of children.
Warranty
Artone, warrants this Artone- product against defects
in materials and workmanship under normal use for a
period one year (or warranty period specified by the
law of the country where the purchase took place) from
the date of retail purchase by the original end-user
purchaser ("Warranty Period"). If a product defect
arises and a valid claim is received within the
Warranty Period, at its consideration, Artone will
either exchange the product with a new one or if
possible repair the product.
The warranty does not cover abuse, deliberate
damage, negligent use, and any damage caused
exceeding the lines of “normal” product use. All
claims must be presented with the invoice of

purchase and this document with a stamp of the
retailer.
Warranty Limitations
Artone limited warranty provides that, subject to the
following limitations, each Product will be free from
defects in material and workmanship and will conform
to Artone specification for the particular Product.
LIMITATION OF REMEDIES
YOUR EXCLUSIVE REMEDY FOR ANY
DEFECTIVE PRODUCT IS LIMITED TO THE
REPAIR OR REPLACEMENT OF THE
DEFECTIVE PRODUCT.
Artone may elect which remedy or combination of
remedies to provide in its sole discretion. Artone shall
have a reasonable time after determining that a
defective Product exists to repair or replace a defective
Product. Artone's replacement Product under its
limited warranty will be manufactured from new
and/or serviceable used parts. Artone's warranty
applies to repaired or replaced Products for the balance
of the applicable period of the original warranty.

ARTONE'S ENTIRE LIABILITY FOR ANY DEFECTIVE
PRODUCT S ALL IN NO EVENT EXCEED T E PURC ASE
PRICE FOR T E DEFECTIVE PRODUCT. T IS LIMITATION
APPLIES EVEN IF ARTONE CANNOT OR DOES NOT REPAIR
OR REPLACE ANY DEFECTIVE PRODUCT AND YOUR
EXCLUSIVE REMEDY FAILS OF ITS ESSENTIAL PURPOSE.

OT ERWISE, ARTONE WILL NOT BE LIABLE WIT
RESPECT TO T E PRODUCTS UNDER ANY CONTRACT,
NEGLIGENCE, STRICT LIABILITY OR OT ER LEGAL OR
EQUITABLE T EORY (I) FOR ANY AMOUNT IN EXCESS OF
T E PURC ASE PRICE FOR T E DEFECTIVE PRODUCT OR
(II) FOR ANY
GENERAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, PUNITIVE, INCIDENTAL OR
SPECIAL DAMAGES. T ESE INCLUDE LOSS OF LOST
PROFITS , T E INSTALLATION OF REPLACEMENT
PRODUCTS, AND ANY INSPECTION, TESTING, ANY DEFECT
OR BY T E REPAIR OR REPLACEMENT OF PRODUCTS
ARISING FROM A DEFECT IN ANY PRODUCT.
