Dieses Gerät entspricht den anerkannten
Regeln der Technik und den einschlägi-
gen Sicherheitsbestimmungen für Elek-
trogeräte!
Um Schäden und Gefahren durch nicht
ordnungsgemäßen Gebrauch zu ver-
meiden, ist die Betriebsanleitung zu
beachten und sorgfältig aufzubewahren!
Bei Weitergabe des Gerätes an andere
Personen ist auch die Betriebsanleitung
mit zu übergeben!
Bei Beschädigung des Netzkabels darf
dieses nur durch eine vom Hersteller
benannte Reparaturwerkstatt ersetzt wer-
den, um eine Gefährdung zu vermeiden!
Bitte wenden Sie sich an den Hersteller
oder seinen Kundendienst!
Die Netzspannung muss mit der Span-
nungsangabe (V) auf dem Gerät über-
einstimmen!
Die Energiestation nur an Wechselstrom,
an eine Schutzkontaktsteckdose anschlie-
ßen. Netzkabel dabei nicht über scharfe
Kanten ziehen, einklemmen oder
herunterhängen lassen. Netzkabel vor
Hitze und Feuchtigkeit schützen!
Vor jeder Inbetriebnahme das Gerät auf
einwandfreien Zustand kontrollieren, es
darf nicht in Betrieb genommen werden,
wenn:
- die Zuleitung beschädigt ist
- das Gerät sichtbare Schäden aufweist
- das Gerät einmal heruntergefallen sein
sollte.
Netzkabel nie um das Gerät wickeln!
Netzstecker nur bei ausgeschaltetem
Gerät in die Steckdose einstecken.

Das Gerät darf nur mit der vorgesehenen
Energiestation betrieben werden.
Den Kessel sowie die Energiestation nicht
auf heiße Oberflächen wie z.B. Öfen,
Herdplatten, o. ä. abstellen!
Bei Verwendung einer Verlängerungs-
schnur, nur ein geerdetes Kabel mit
einem Leiterquerschnitt von mind. 1,5
mm2benutzen!
Sicherheitshinweise bei der Bedienung des
Gerätes
Verwenden Sie das Gerät bestimmungs-
gemäß!
Dieses Gerät ist nicht dafür bestimmt,
durch Personen (einschließlich Kinder)
mit eingeschränkten physischen, senso-
rischen oder geistigen Fähigkeiten oder
mangels Erfahrung und/oder mangels
Wissen benutzt zu werden, es sei denn,
sie werden durch eine für ihre Sicherheit
zuständige Person beaufsichtigt oder
erhielten von ihr Anweisungen, wie das
Gerät zu benutzen ist.
Kinder sollten beaufsichtigt werden, um
sicherzustellen, dass sie nicht mit dem
Gerät spielen.
Verpackungsmaterialien, wie z.B. Folien-
beutel gehören nicht in Kinderhände!
Das Gerät nie ohne Wasser einschalten. Der
Edelstahlboden verfärbt sich und kann
beschädigt werden, wenn das Gerät ohne
Wasser betrieben wird.
Achtung! Verbrühungsgefahr!
Austretender heißer Wasserdampf kann zu
Verbrühungen führen. Beachten Sie die
max. zulässigen Füllmengen. Deckel nie
während des Betriebs öffnen!
Achtung! Verbrennungsgefahr!
Der Metallkessel wird während des
Betriebs heiß. Berührungen mit der Haut
können Verbrennungen verursachen.
Den Kessel nie über die maximale Füllmen-
ge (1 Liter) befüllen.
Wird der Kessel überfüllt, kann kochendes
Wasser herausspritzen.
Im Betrieb wird der Kessel heiß – dies ist
normal! Benutzen Sie zum Ausgießen nur
den Griff.
Einen zusätzlichen Schutz bietet der Ein-
bau einer Fehlerstrom-Schutzeinrichtung
mit einem Nennauslösestrom von nicht
mehr als 30 mA in der Hausinstallation.
Fragen Sie Ihren Elektroinstallateur!
Der Netzstecker ist zu ziehen:
- bei Störungen während des Betriebes
- vor jeder Reinigung
- nach dem Gebrauch.

Die Energiestation kann nicht geöffnet

gung und Pflege, Kessel von der Energie-
station nehmen und abkühlen lassen!

mit nassen Händen aus der Steckdose
ziehen!
Achtung! Gefahr durch elektrischen
Schlag oder Kurzschluß!
Kessel sowie Energiestation vor Feuchtig-
keit schützen! Niemals in die Spülmaschi-
ne legen! Nicht ins Wasser tauchen!
Beachten Sie die Entkalkungshinweise im
Kapitel “Entkalken“!

Das Gerät ist ausschließlich zum Erhitzen
und Kochen von Wasser bestimmt. Füllen
Sie niemals Milch, Suppen, Kaffee, Tee o.
ä. in den Kessel.
Bei Zweckentfremdung, falscher Bedie-
nung oder nicht fachgerechter Reparatur
wird keine Haftung für evtl. Schäden über-
nommen. Ebenso sind Garantieleistungen
in solchen Fällen ausgeschlossen.
Das Gerät ist nicht für den gewerblichen
Gebrauch bestimmt!

V or dem ersten Gebrauch sollten Sie den
Wasserkocher bei max. Füllmenge (1
Liter )
mindestens zweimal auskochen. Zwischen
den einzelnen Aufheizvorgängen den Kes-
sel mit kaltem Wasser ausspülen.

Hinweis
Sollte aus Versehen kein Wasser im Kes-
sel sein, schaltet ein Trockengehschutz
den Wasserkocher automatisch ab.
In diesem Fall den Kessel von der Ener-
giestation nehmen und einige Minuten
abkühlen lassen. Anschließend den
Wasserkocher mit ausreichender Wasser-
menge wieder in Betrieb nehmen.
Wasserkocher einschalten
Sicherheitsklappdeckel schließen. Der
Deckel muss dabei einrasten (5).
Energiestation ans Netz anschließen und
den Kessel auf die Energiestation aufset-
zen (6).
Hinweis
Bei falsch- oder nicht geschlossenem
Deckel schaltet sich der Wasserkocher
nicht automatisch ab.
Den Wasserkocher mit dem Ein- / Aus-
Schalter

Hinweis
Der Ein- / Aus-Schalter rastet nur ein,
wenn der Kessel auf der Energiestation
steht.

öffnen oder abnehmen.
Wasserkocher ausschalten
Wenn das Wasser kocht, schaltet sich
der Wasserkocher automatisch ab – rote
Aufheizkontrolleuchte

Sie können den Wasserkocher jedoch
auch über den Ein- / Aus-Schalter

jederzeit ausschalten.

auch dann, wenn der Kessel von der Ener-
giestation genommen wird.
Wasserkocher wiedereinschalten
Der Wasserkocher kann nach einer kur-
zen Abkühlphase von ca. 30 Sekunden
jederzeit wieder eingeschaltet werden.
Kessel von der Energiestation abnehmen
und das heiße Wasser ausgießen.
Hinweis
Funktionsbedingt kann aus den
Ablauföffnungen am Kesselboden
etwas Kondenswasser auf den Rand
der Energiestation laufen. Dies ist nor-
mal und völlig unbedenklich.
Wird der Kessel anschließend wieder auf
die Energiestation zurückgestellt, erhitzt
sich das evtl. verbleibende Restwasser
erst wieder nach erneutem Einschalten.

Zum Entnehmen des Kalkfilters

, den
Kessel von der Energiestation nehmen und
abkühlen lassen. Entnehmen Sie den Kalk-
filter nie, wenn der Kessel heiß ist oder mit
Wasser gefüllt ist.
Ziehen Sie den Kalkfilter nach oben
aus dem Ausgießer heraus
(9) .
Achten Sie beim Einsetzen darauf, daß der
Kalkfilter, wie abgebildet, richtig in der
Führung bzw. Arretierung sitzt
(9) .
Drücken Sie den Kalkfilter ganz nach unten in
den Ausguss hinein.
Hinweis
Legen Sie den Kalkfilter nie lose in den
Wasserkocher.
Kessel sowie Energiestation mit einem
feuchten Tuch abwischen und von innen
mit Wasser ausspülen. Entfernen Sie hart-
näckige Flecken mit einem Spülmittel.
Um immer ein gutes Ergebnis zu erhal-
ten, sollten Sie regelmäßig prüfen, ob
sich im Kalkfilter Kalkpartikel befinden.
Spülen Sie den Kalkfilter

unter kla-
rem Wasser ab und benutzen Sie unter
Umständen eine weiche Bürste (kein
Metall) zum Reinigen.
Der Wasserkocher muß regelmäßig ent-
kalkt werden. Entkalken Sie den Wasserko-
cher spätestens dann, wenn die Zeit bis
zum Kochen des Wassers merklich länger
wird bzw. der Heizvorgang vorzeitig auto-
matisch unterbrochen wird.
Vorgang:
Kessel bis zur max. Füllmenge mit Wasser
befüllen.

Nach dem Erhitzen schaltet sich der Was-
serkocher automatisch ab. Handelsübli-
chen Entkalker hinzugeben (Dosierungs-
anleitung des Herstellers beachten).
Entkalkungsflüssigkeit bei ausgeschaltetem
Wasserkocher mind. 30 Minuten einwirken
lassen.
Wasserkocher mehrmals mit klarem Was-
ser ausspülen und abschließend einmal
mit klarem Wasser auskochen.
Bei starker Verkalkung, Vorgang wiederho-
len.
Verpackungsmaterial sowie Gerät und
Zubehör sind aus recyclefähigen Mate-
rialien hergestellt.
Die getrennte, umweltgerechte Entsor-
gung von Materialresten fördert die
Wiederverwertung von Wertstoffen.
Geräte-Entsorgung

Safety instructions when connecting the
appliance
This appliance complies with the recog-
nized rules of technology and the perti-
nent safety regulations for electrical
appliances!
To avoid damage or danger by improper
use, the instructions for use should be
carefully kept and followed!
If you give the appliance to another per-
son then you should also supply them
with the instructions for use!
If the connecting cable is damaged, it

Never switch on the appliance if there is
no water in it. The stainless steel base
becomes discoloured and could be dam-
aged if the kettle is used when there is
no water in it.
Warning! Risk of scalding!
Hot steam ejected by the kettle can
cause scalding. Observe the maximum
filling level. Never open the lid while the
kettle is switched on.
Warning! Danger of burns!
The metal kettle gets very hot when in
use. Contact with the skin can cause
burns!
Never fill the kettle beyond the maxi-
mum filling level (1.0 litres)!
If the kettle is overfilled boiling water
may be ejected!
The appliance becomes hot during oper-
ation - this is normal! Only ever use the
handle to pour out the water!
The installation of a faulty current
protective device with a rated breaking
current offers you additional safety by
ensuring that 30 mA will not be exceed-
ed in the house installation. Let your
installation electrician advise you!
Remove the plug from the mains:
- if the unit does not function properly
- before cleaning
- after every use.
Safety instructions for cleaning and main-
tenance
Neither the appliance nor the power
base can be opened.
Always remove the kettle from the
power base and allow it to cool down if
faults occur during operation or for
cleaning and maintenance! Disconnect
the plug from the mains!
Do not use the cable to pull on the plug
or pull the plug out of the socket when
hands are wet!
Warning! Danger of electric shock or
short-circuit!
Protect the appliance and the power
base from damp.
Never put them into the dishwasher!
Never immerse them in water!
Observe the instructions for de-scaling!
The appliance may only be used to heat
and boil water.Never put milk, soup, cof-
fee or tea, etc., into the kettle.
No liability is accepted for any damage
resulting from use for other purposes,
faulty operation or amateur repairs. Guar-
antee services are also excluded in such
cases.
The appliance is not intended for catering
purposes!

Before using the kettle for the first time, fill it
up to the maximum level (1.0 litres) and boil
at least two lots of water. Rinse the kettle out
with cold water each time between boiling up
these two lots of water.

Note
If the kettle was accidentally started
empty, the safety cutout will automati-
cally switch it off. In this case you should
remove the kettle from the power base
and allow it to cool down for a few minu-
tes. Make sure that the kettle has been fil-
led with an adequate amount of water
before using it again.
Switching on the kettle
Close the lid. The safety locking lid must
lock into place (5). Connect the power
base to the mains and position the kettle
on the power base (6).
Note
If the lid is not properly closed, the kett-
le will not shut off automatically.

Note
The kettle also switches off automati-
cally when it is removed from the
power base.
Switching the kettle back on again
The kettle can be switched back on again
after being allowed to cool down for
approx. 30 seconds.
Remove the kettle from the power base
and pour out the hot water.
Note
As a result of its functioning, some
water can condense out of the outlet
openings in the base of the kettle and
run out over the edge of the power
base. This is normal and is perfectly
harmless.
If the kettle is returned to the power
base, any water left in it will only heat up
if the kettle is switched on again.

remove the kettle from the power base and
allow to cool down. Never remove the
scale filter while the kettle is still hot or still
full of water.
Simply pull the scale filter upwards from
the spout (9).
When replacing the filter, ensure that the
scale filter is located properly in its guide
(9) .
Press the scale filter down fully into the
spout.
Note
Never leave the scale filter loose in the
kettle.
Wipe out the kettle and power base with
a damp cloth and rinse out the inside of
the kettle with water. Remove stubborn
stains with washing up liquid.
To get the best results at all times, make a
regular check to see if there are particles
of scale in the scale filter. Flush out the
scale filter

under running water and
use a soft brush if necessary (no metal).
The kettle must be descaled regularly.
At the latest, the kettle should be descaled
when the time required to boil water is
markedly longer or if it cuts out too soon
while heating the water.
Method:
Fill the kettle up the maximum filling level.
Close the lid. The safety lid must click
into place. Connect the power base to
the mains and put the kettle on the
power base.
Switch on the kettle. The kettle switches off
automatically once it has boiled the water.
Use any standard descaler (follow the
instructions for use given by the manufac-
turer).
Allow the de-scaling agent to take effect
for at least 30 minutes. Afterwards, rinse
out the appliance several times with clean
water and then boil again with clean
water which should then be poured away.
Repeat the process if the kettle is heavily
scaled.
Packaging materials and appliance and
accessories are made of recyclable mate-
rials.
Separation of the remaining waste mate-
rial into different types facilitates the
recycling of valuable raw materials.

Consignes de sécurité pour le branche-
ment de l’appareil
Cet appareil répond aux règles reconnues de
la technique et aux prescriptions de sécurité
appropriées aux appareils électriques !
Afin d’éviter tout dommage ou danger
suite à une utilisation inappropriée, suiv-
re attentivement le mode d’emploi et le
conserver avec précaution !
Si l’appareil est donné à une autre per-
sonne, y joindre le mode d’emploi !
En cas d'endommagement du cordon
d'alimentation, le faire impérativement
remplacer par un centre de réparation
agréé par le fabricant afin de prévenir
tout danger. Veuillez vous adresser au
fabricant ou à son service clientèle !
La tension de la source de courant doit
correspondre aux indications de la pla-
que signalétique !
L’appareil ne doit être branché que sur
une prise de protection avec courant
alternatif. Ne pas tirer le cordon sur des
bordures pointues, ne pas le coincer ou
le laisser pendre. Protéger le cordon con-
tre la chaleur et l’humidité !
Avant chaque utilisation, vérifier que
l’appareil est en parfait état, ne pas le
mettre en service, si
- le cordon est endommagé
- l’appareil présente des dommages
visibles
- l’appareil est tombé par terre.

Ne jamais enrouler le cordon d’alimenta-
tion autour de l’appareil !
Ne brancher la fiche dans la prise de cou-
rant que lorsque l’appareil est éteint !
N’utiliser la bouilloire qu’avec la station
de base prévue.
Assurez-vous que la bouilloire a été coupée
automatiquement ou manuellement avant
de l’enlever de la station de base.
Ne pas déposer l’appareil sur des surfa-
ces chaudes telles que p.ex. poêle, pla-
ques de cuisinière, brûleur à gaz etc. !
En cas d’utilisation de rallonge, n’utiliser
qu’un câble avec terre d’au moins
1,5 mm2de section !
Consignes de sécurité pour l’utilisation de
l’appareil
Utilisez l'appareil de manière conforme à
l'emploi prévu !
Cet appareil n’est pas prévu pour être
utilisé par des personnes (enfants et
adultes) souffrant de troubles moteurs,
sensoriels ou mentaux et dénuées
d’expérience et de savoir-faire en la
matière, à moins qu'elles ne soient sous
la surveillance ou qu’elles n’agissent
selon les instructions quant à l’utilisation
de l’appareil données par la personne
responsable de leur sécurité.
Surveiller les enfants afin de s’assurer
qu’ils ne puissent pas jouer avec
l’appareil.
Le matériel d’emballage (ex: sac pla-
stique) ne doit pas être laissé à la portée
des enfants !
Ne jamais mettre en marche la bouilloire
sans eau. Le fond en inox se colore et peut
être endommagé, si la bouilloire est mise
en marche sans eau.
Attention ! Risque de s’ébouillanter!
La vapeur d’eau chaude qui s’échappe
peut entraîner des brûlures. Tenez comp-
te de la quantité maximale d’eau admise.
Ne jamais ouvrir le couvercle pendant le
fonctionnement !
Attention ! Danger de brûlures !
La chaudière métallique devient brûlante
pendant le fonctionnement. Des contacts
avec la peau peuvent provoquer des
brûlures.
Ne jamais remplir l'appareil au-dessus
du niveau maximum (1,0 litre).
Si l’appareil est trop rempli, il est possi-
ble que l’eau bouillante jaillisse !
L’appareil est chaud lorsqu’il fonctionne
- ceci est normal ! Pour verser n’utiliser
que la poignée.
Une protection supplémentaire est offerte
grâce à l’installation dans votre habitation
d’un dispositif de sécurité qui coupe le cir-
cuit électrique si l’ampérage dépasse
30 mA ! Consultez votre électricien !
Débrancher l’appareil :
- en cas d’arr
ê t de fonctionnement
- avant chaque nettoyage
- après utilisation.

l’entretien
Il n’est pas possible d’ouvrir l’appareil ou
la station d’énergie.
En cas de panne et pour le nettoyage et
l’entretien, enlever l’appareil de la station
et le laisser refroidir! Débrancher !
Ne pas débrancher en tirant sur le cor-
don ou avec des mains mouillées !
Attention! Risque de choc électrique ou
de court-circuit ! Protéger l’appareil et la
station d’énergie contre l’humidité ! Ne
jamais les mettre dans le lave-vaisselle!
Ne pas les plonger dans l’eau !
Respectez les consignes de détartrage !

L’appareil est uniquement destiné à faire
chauffer et bouillir de l’eau.
Ne jamais remplir l'appareil de lait, soupe,
café, thé etc.
En cas d’autre emploi, d’utilisation incor-
recte ou de réparation non appropriée, la
responsabilité ne sera pas assumée pour
les dommages éventuels. Les prestations
de garantie sont également exclues dans
de tels cas.
L’appareil n’est pas destiné à l’utilisation
commerciale !

Avant la première utilisation, il faut faire
bouillir au moins deux fois le volume maxi-
mum d'eau (1,0 litre). Entre les deux opérati-
ons, rincer la bouilloire avec de l'eau froide.
Procédure:
Régler la longueur du câble désirée à la
station d’énergie

Remarque
Si par erreur il n'y a pas d'eau dans la
bouilloire, une protection contre le fonc-
tionnement à vide coupe automatique-
ment la bouilloire.
Dans ce cas, retirer la bouilloire de la stati-
on d'énergie et la laisser refroidir quel-
ques minutes. Ensuite remettre en marche
la bouilloire avec suffisamment d'eau.
Mise en marche de l’appareil
Fermer le couvercle. Le clapet de sécu-
rité doit s’enclencher (5).
Brancher la station d’énergie et placer
l’appareil sur celle-ci (6).
Remarque
Si le couvercle n’est pas fermé ou mal
fermé, l’appareil ne sera pas éteint
automatiquement.
Mettre en marche l’appareil avec l’in-ter-
rupteur Marche - Arrêt

Remise en marche de l’appareil
L’appareil peut être remis en marche à
tout moment après une phase brève de
refroidissement d’environ 30 secondes.
Enlever l’appareil de la station d’énergie
et verser l’eau chaude.
Remarque
Il est possible que par les ouvertures
d'écoulement au fond de la bouilloire,
de l'eau de condensation s'écoule sur le
bord de la station d'énergie. Ceci est
normal et ne représente aucun danger.
Si l’appareil est remis sur la station
d’énergie, l’eau éventuellement restante
sera chauffée uniquement si l’appareil
est remis en marche.

Pour enlever le filtre anticalcaire

, enle-
ver l’appareil de la station d’énergie et lais-
ser refroidir. N'enlever jamais le filtre anti-
calcaire lorsque l'appareil est chaud ou
rempli d'eau.
Enlever simplement vers le haut le filtre
anticalcaire du bec verseur (9).
Lors de la mise en place, fait attention à ce
que le filtre anticalcaire soit bien en place
comme indiqué (9). Enfoncer complète-
ment le filtre anticalcaire.
Indication
Ne jamais mettre le filtre anticalcaire
dans la bouilloire sans le fixer correcte-
ment.
Frotter l’appareil ainsi que la station
d’énergie avec un chiffon mouillé et rin-
cer l’intérieur avec de l’eau. Enlever les
taches résistantes avec un détergent.
Pour toujours obtenir un bon résultat,
contrôler régulièrement s'il y a des parti-
cules de calcaire dans le filtre anticalcai-
re
“g“
. Rincez le filtre anticalcaire à l'eau
claire et utiliser le cas échéant une bros-
se souple (pas métallique) pour le net-
toyer.
Il faut détartrer régulièrement la bouilloire.
Détartrer au plus tard la bouilloire lorsque
celle-ci met nettement plus de temps à
bouillir ou si l'opération de chauffe est
interrompue automatiquement de manière
prématurée.
Procédure à suivre:
Remplir la bouilloire d'eau jusqu'au
niveau maximum.
Fermer le couvercle. Le clapet de sécu-
rité doit s'enclencher. Brancher la station
d'énergie et mettre la bouilloire sur cette
dernière.
Mettre en marche la bouilloire.
Lorsque l'eau est chaude, la bouilloire
s'arrête automatiquement. Y mettre un
produit anticalcaire courant dans le com-
merce (tenir compte des indications de
dosage du fabricant).

Verser
Avant tout nettoyage, enle-
ver l’appareil de la station
d’énergie et le laisser refro-
idir. Débrancher.
Ne jamais plonger l’appareil
ou la station d’énergie dans
l’eau et ne pas utiliser de
détergent agressif ou abrasif!

Laisser agir au moins 30 minutes le liqui-
de de détartrage. Après : Rincer
l’appareil plusieurs fois à l’eau froide et
ensuite faire bouillir une fois de l’eau.
Si la bouilloire est très entartrée, recom-
mencer l'opération.
L’emballage ainsi que l’appareil et les
accessoires sont en matériaux recyclabes.
L’évacuation séparée, écologique des
restes des matériaux favorise le recycla-
ge des matières de valeur.
Ce symbole présent sur le produit, le mode
d’emploi ou bien sur l’emballage, attire
votre attention sur le fait qu’il est interdit de
l’éliminer en fin de vie avec les déchets
ménagers habituels. Les appareils élec-
triques et électroniques usagés doivent être
remis à un point de collecte en vue de leur
recyclage.
Les matériaux sont recyclables conformé-
ment à leur caractérisation.
En remettant votre appareil usagé en bonne
et due forme en vue de son recyclage, du
recyclage des matériaux ou encore de toute
autre forme de recyclage, vous apportez
une contribution importante à la protection
de l'environnement.
