Please read carefully the manual provided before using the product.
Please be informed that this manual may be subject to change without notice for

Introduction Safety Precautions
The manufacturer is not responsibility for any of recorded message caused by
damages and repair attempts.

Karaoke function
User can enjoy singing a song and listen to the mixed sound of user s voice with song. Also, the
player supports karaoke lyrics sync by letter and is able to display lyrics up to 6lines on LCD.
User can use internal MIC or external MIC (Mono/Stereo/Dynamic) and can control the pitch
of sound and playback speed.
E-Learning function
The player supports coloring caption sync by letter on LCD and can control playback speed
from -40% to 300%. This function could be help to become higher learning effect of foreign
language speaking and listening via variable playback mode.
Rotatable 180-degree of LCD direction.
LCD direction can be rotatable in a 180-degree arc. for the convenience of users.
The direction of Jog function Keys will be automatically changed to the rotated LCD
direction.
Supports multi codec player
The player supports MPEG 1/2/2.5/3 Layer3, WMA, ASF playback.
Various Sound Effects
The player provides the easiest way to set the sound.
11 preset-EQ-Normal, Classic, Rock, Pop, Live ,Jazz, Dance, Party Techno, Reggae, Soft, and
Multiple user-programmable manual mode, User-EQ(22bands)are mounted.
These are enabled to create realistic sound environment.
Newly developed surround audio technology, OCHE 3D provides magnificent stereophonic
multi-channel audio reproduction and “Virtual rear surround effects”
Additionally, The Bass & Treble feature can be used to adjust bass and treble a total of 5 steps.
Voice recording / Direct Encoding/ FM Recording
The player supports the recording function of voice and FM broadcasting.
Also, user can direct record mp3 file from external audio without PC.
VOR (Voice Operated Recording)
The player automatically detects sound and operate recording.
This function helps to save recording memory and to be maximized recording time.
USB Memory storage
The player supports high storage capacity and rapid data transfer capability(7.0 Mbps by per
second) and can download and upload data from PC.
Auto firmware upgrade
The player supports firmware upgradeable function and user can easy upgrade firmware on
player without PC tools.

Re-charging the battery by

Power On
Press the [Jog] key for more than 2 seconds..
- The initial screen will be displayed..
Power Off
Press the [Jog] Key for more than 2 seconds on
PAUSE or STOP mode
- Player will be turned off.
Hold on
Press the [ ] button for more than 2 seconds.
- LCD screen will display blinking [ ]icon to
indicate the unit is locked.
Hold off
Press the [ ]button again for more than
2 seconds.
-[ ]icon on LCD screen will disappear and the
unit will be unlocked.
To adjust volume level
Press [Jog] Key upward or downward direction to
adjust volume level.
- User can adjust volume level from 0 to 20.
Press the [ ] button for more than 2 seconds.
- Mode selecting windows will be displayed on
LCD.
Select mode with pressing [Jog] Key toward right
or left direction.
Press [Jog] Key.
- Selected mode will be displayed on LCD.
Main mode is composed of Audio, REC, FM.

Long key Short key
Power turns off automatically when the unit is not
in use for certain time in PAUSE or STOP.
Setting Auto-off in MENU > MY PLAYER
All buttons will not work while the Hold function is
activated and unit is in lock position.

Playback
Press the [Jog] Key in Audio/REC/FM playback
mode.
- The selected file will be played and the LCD
screen will display playback status and file
information.
Pause
Press the [Jog] Key shortly during playback.
- The playback will be paused and display icon
- Press the [Jog] Key again to resume playback.
Stop
Press the [Jog] Key for more than 2 seconds during
playback.
- The playback will be stopped.

To search folder/file using Navigation.
Press the [ ] button shortly.
- Folder/file directory of current mode will be
displayed.
Search folder or file with pressing [Jog] Key toward
right or left direction.
- To go back to root folder, press the [Jog] Key
upward or select [ ] icon.
Select to desired folder/file and Press the [Jog]
Key.
- The selected file starts playback.
To shift the file during playback.
During playback, Press the [Jog] Key toward right
or left direction.
- Current playback stops and the next or previous
file starts to play.

To search playback point in the file
currently playing
During playback, press the [Jog] Key toward right
or left direction for more than 2 seconds.
- The player fast forwards or rewinds through the
current song.
Release the [Jog] Key at point desired to play.
- Resume playback.
This function is only applicable to while stopped in
each mode. Press the [ ] button.
- folder / file directory of current mode will be
displayed.
Pressing the [Jog] Key toward right or left direction
and select folder / file to be deleted .
Press the [Jog] Key to downward direction.
- The message SURE TO DELETE will be
displayed on LCD.
- Select[ ]and press the [Jog] Key to confirm.
During playback , press the [ ] button shortly at
start point of desired to repeat .
Press the [ ] button again at finish point of
desired. During playback, press [ ] button
again at finish point of desired repeat.
- [ ]icon will be displayed on LCD and the
selected section will be played repeatedly.
To release A-B repeat, press the [ ] button once
again.
- [ ]icon will be disappeared on LCD and
resumes playback.

Folder/File can not be deleted in playback or
pause mode. Only can be deleted in stop mode.

Voice recording by internal MIC.
Press the [ ] button in REC mode.
- Start recording. Recording information and
internal MIC icon will be displayed on LCD.
Place the internal MIC toward sound direction.
Press the [ ] button one again to finish
recording.
- Recording will be stopped.
Select REC mode with pressing the [Jog] Key
toward right or left direction.
Press the [Jog] Key to confirm.
- REC mode window will be displayed.

Connect the external microphone or audio cable
supplied with player to [ ] jack of the player.

RECORD folder.

Auto preset station
Press the [ ] button and select PRESET mode.
- PRESET and MANUAL mode is switched every
time user press [ ] button shortly.
Manual preset station.
Press the [ ] button and select MANUAL mode.
Press the [Jog] key toward right or left direction for
long.
- Search and tune in the frequency of desired
station.
If press the [Jog] Key, channel number to save will
be displayed.
Press the [Jog] Key toward right or left direction
and select channel number to save.
Press the [Jog] Key once again to save.
Go to FM radio mode
Press the [ ] button for more than 2 seconds.
- Mode selecting window will be displayed.
Select FM mode with pressing the [Jog] Key
toward right or left direction.
Press the [Jog] Key confirm.
- FM radio mode window will be displayed.
Press the [Jog] Key.
- Starts searching for radio station and it’s stored
automatically from 1 to 20 channel.
Press the [Jog] Key toward right or left direction
and select the saved channel to listen.

To record FM broadcasting
Press the [ ] button for move than 2 seconds
while listen to the Radio.
- Starts recording and display recording status and
information on LCD.
Press the [ ] button once again to stop
Recording.
Recording files will be stored in FM folder.
To listen to the recorded file.
Press the [ ] button in Radio MODE.
- Navigation window will be displayed.
Select recording file to playback and press the
[Jog] Key to play.

This menu allows user to repeatedly playback the whole or
specific file or folder.User can select various repeat playback.

Continuously repeat the selected file.
Continuously repeat all the files in the selected folder.

Repeat only the beginning part of files.
Repeat files in the selected folder in random order.
User can enjoy singing a song which is playing and can listen to
the user’s voice mixed with playing song. Additionally, user can

- Connect user PC and player using USB cable.
- The player power turns on and USB connection is
displayed on the LCD screen. PC recognizes the
player as a removable storage device.
To download file
Select the file to transfer from userr computer and
drag & drop it on the player.
File Down / Upload
To upload file
Select the file to transfer from userr player and
drag & drop it on the computer.
Cautions: NEVER disconnect the USB cable until
the file transfer is finished. It might be cause to file
transfer error or damage the player.
When file transfer is complete, LCD screen color
changes into BLUE

To Install SoftwareTo Install Software
1. Insert installation CD into CD-ROM drive,
above installation screen will appear
automatically.
2. If the installation CD does not run
automatically, double-click the My
Computer on desktop, and double-click the
setup.exe in CD-Rom drive.
3. Installation CD is composed of below
contents:
- Install Direct X
- Install VOKA Pro
- Win 98 USB driver
- Readme
Microsoft Windows 2000 users should log-
in as an Administrator account and try
installation.
System requirements.
- Over Pentium 133MHz
- CD-ROM drive
- More than 100MB hard disk space.
- Compatible with Win98SE/ME/2000/XP
- USB Port
Connect you PC and player using USB cable. PC recognizes the player as a removable storage
device automatically. But WIN98SE Users have to install USB driver provided together with the player.
Prepare Installation
Before installation software, install Direct X first to secure stability (recommendation).
( Caution : If the compatibility problem occurs with user s OS system, try to download the
latest Direct X version from Microsoft Home page
1. Click the left side button of
Install Direct X
2. Select [Accept(A)] and click [Next(N)]
button.
3. Click [Next(N)] button.
4. Proceeding Installation above figure.
Installation is finished, Click [Finish]
button. Installation is completed, make
sure to reboot.

1. Click the left side button of Win98 USB
drive . Proceeding Installation Wizard.
2. Click [Next(N)] button
3. Proceeding Installation as a figure.
4. Installation is finished, Click [Finish]

5. Driver installation is proceeding as
above figure and finished.
To Install VOKA Pro
1. Click the left side button of Install
VOKA Pro . Proceeding Installation
Wizard.
2. Click [Next(N)] button.
3. Proceeding Installation as a figure .
4. Installation is finished, Click [Finish]

5. Installation is completed. ‘VOKA Pro
Player’ and ‘VOKA Pro Editor’ Icon will
be generated on desktop.

Opening Voka Pro Editor
1. Install program and i con of
[Voca Pro Editor v1.1.exe] is produced
on the screen.
2. Click on i con of
[Sharp MP3 Editor v1.1.exe] twice and
then the program begins.
3. Select [Open] from Audio File Open &
Save Menu.
4. Select MP3 File and click on [open] .
Downloading the Synchronized Lyrics
1. Click on i con of [Search Lyrics] at the
top right of VokaPro File Editor after
opening MP3 File.
2. Select the desired language [English]
from [Voka Lyrics DB] first and search
the desired lyrics [Can't Help Falling In
Love With You] or singer.
3. Select the desired lyrics from Voka Lyrics
DB and click on [apply] at the bottom
of window.
4. When [Translate Complete] is shown on
the screen after download, click on
[OK] button.
5. If there aren't desired music file in store,
direct synchronization in the lyrics editor
is necessary.
6. If there aren't desired lyrics file in store,
move to direct editing to fit lyrics.
Following Voka Pro Editor

Synchronizing with Lyrics Sync. Wizard
1. When download the lyrics with
Synchronization Information by using
Search Lyrics, Lyrics Sync Wizard begins.
2. Lyrics Sync Wizard is on screen
(Tip) When the letter is shown broken
after completion of download.
- Select the type of letter supporting the
language in [Font Setting] of [Audio File &
Save] menu.
4. When press [Start] button, a red and
triangle box flickers and the music plays
as filed.
- For example, in case of using "Hangul windows
98 SE", lyrics can be seen clearly in "Lyrics Sync
Wizard" by changing the type of letter.
. Type of Lyrics in Chinese is Simsun
. Type of Lyrics in Japanese is MS Mincho
. Type of Lyrics in Taiwanese is MIngLiU
3. Easily edited by adjusting the [Speed]
of playback to edit synchronization in
Lyrics sync wizard.
Move [Speed] option to "Fast" to reduce
the time for editing synchronization.
5. While listening to the music which
triangle box [ ] indicates, press
[Sync] button and triangle box [ ]
moves to the position where [Sync]
button to be pressed.
6. Click on [Sync] button with the left
button of mouse as the same way as
above until one music is completed.
Otherwise, in case of press [Enter] after
click on [Sync] button with the left
button of mouse, it has almost same
effect as pressing [Sync] button with the
left button of mouse.
(Tip) Line Synchronization by using Sync.wizard
should be performed at one time from the
beginning to the end.

7. When playback of music ends and
lyrics synchronization is completed,
press [OK] button.
8. When press [OK] button, synchronized
lyrics are entered into program window
9. Click on [Preview window] in [View]
menu with left button of mouse and
press playback [ ] button at the top
right of program and then confirm if the
image is colored to the music.
Direct Editing Synchronization to Lyrics
1. When MP3 File & Lyrics File are
prepared, click on I con of Voka Pro
Editor twice with left button of mouse
and open program.
Program begins and window opens.
10. If the lyrics shown in one bar doesn't match
for the music, press icon of [Lyrics Sync] and
select [Sync Wizard] for repeat editing
synchronization as same as before.
11. When the lyrics shown in one bar shown in
one bar are in accordance with the music
and in order to modify image coloring, make
useofNo.5&No.6in ModifyingSynchronization.

3. Select [Open] of [Audio File & Save]
menu at the top right of Voka Pro Editor
and open the music file to edit.
Select the desired MP3 File and click on
[Open] Button.
4. Make lyrics file (*.TXT for file format) by
download the desired lyrics file from
network or by using NOTEPAD or
general text editor.
5. Save *.MP3 file (for file format) and *.TXT
(forfile format) in thesame folder to edit
lyrics.
6. [Select [Open] in [Text File & Save] and
open the lyrics file which is txt format.
When widow opens, select the lyrics file
and press [Open].
Iftherearen'tlyricsfileinstore, itispossible
to edit directly in the lyrics editor as
below.
