Pando Secure Go reader
Pando Secure Go reader kommer fortsättningsvis benämnas läsar i detta
dokument.
Pando Secure Go är en Hi-O läsare för att läsa Mifare, DESFire, iClass,
SEOS och Mobila nycklar via Bluetooth och NFC.
Läsaren konfigureras med setup-kort för mobil läsmetod och
läsavstånd. De kundunika mobila nycklarna läses in via ett setup-kort.
Fabriksinställningen för läsaren är att läsa serienummer och kan
konfigureras för sektorläsning av MIFARE Classic och applikationsläsning
av DESFire, iCLASS eller SEOS.
Installation
Läsaren anslutas via Hi-O till DAC eller LCU9101.
Indikeringar på läsarens utsida
Läsaren har en grön och en röd LED , den gröna LED kan även
blinka orange.
Indikeringar vid uppstart
(1) Blinkar orange
Blinkar i 10 sekunder: Läsaren väntar på ett BLE
konfigurationskort eller key reference-kort för
mobila nycklar.
(2) Blinkar grön
Blinkar i 90 sekunder: Läsaren väntar på ett setup-
kort.
Denna sekvens kan avbrytas genom att hålla ett
användarkort framför läsaren i sju sekunder.

Hi-O-installation
Anslut CAN-bussen till CAN-H och CAN-L samt matningen ut till CAN-bussen på de två
nästkommande plintarna i DAC, +12V & 0V.
DIP3: val av in- eller utläsare. DIP3 OFF = Inläsare, DIP3 ON = Utläsare
DIP1: Lås upp direkt eller efter beröring
Läsare kan väljas att låsa upp direkt när den ser en giltig mobiltelefon inom sitt område eller låsa
upp efter att läsarens knapp noll (0) trycks in i 0,5 sekunder.
DIP1 i OFF
Läsaren låser upp direkt när en giltig telefon befinner sig inom läsarens räckvidd. blinkar orange
därefter blir det grönt eller rött beroende på om man har access till dörren eller inte.
DIP1 i ON
Läsaren kräver att knapp noll (0) trycks in i 0,5 sekunder innan en mobiltelefon inom läsarens
räckvidd kan låsa upp densamma, det finns två olika lägen.
De två olika lägena ställs in med setupkort ”Advertise Configuration Card”
1. (Konfigurationskort ”Advertise” 1 pip)
Läsaren måste beröras för samtliga olika mobillägen
2. (Konfigurationskort ”Advertise” 2 pip) ”Default”
Läsaren måste beröras för att ”Seamless” ska fungera.
”Tap”, ”Twist and Go” och ” Notification ” fungerar direkt utan att beröra läsaren.
Efter att man på läsaren har tryckt in knapp noll (0) i 0,5 sekunder, registrerar läsaren de
mobiltelefoner som är inom läsavstånd och blinkar grönt. Läsaren väntar i fem sekunder på att
en mobiltelefon ska finnas inom räckhåll. blinkar orange när telefonen kopplar upp. Därefter
blir det grönt eller rött beroende på om man har access till dörren eller inte.
DIP5 ON: Fördröjd reaktion på A- och B-knapparna
Fördröj A och B-tangenterna 0,5 sekunder för att undvika oönskade manövrar. Ställa DIP 5 till ON.
DIP8 ON: Förlängd manövertid vid användning av mobila nycklar
Exempel: Larma av med mobilt kort
Gör en larmfrånkoppling genom att trycka "A", gör Twist & Go-rörelse med din telefon och slå
PIN-koden på läsarens begäran. Tiden för att utföra dessa tre moment har förlängts när DIP 8 är
satt till ON.
Funktionen fungerar även på exempelvis manövrarna 2A, 3A etc.
Funktionen kan inte användas för till- eller frånkoppling av reläkopplade larm. I detta fall måste
DIP 8 ställas in på OFF. DIP8 funktionen behöver inte användas efter
LCU firmware version AAx.x.xx_ACP-3.1.1-xxxx

Konfiguration av mobilsystemnyckel
(Endast första gången en läsare tas i bruk.)
Läs igenom alla stegen innan du påbörjar konfiguration.
1. Bryt och slå till spänningen till läsaren med locket öppet. (Läsaren i
sabotageläge)
2. **Orange indikering blinkar under 20 sekunder
(Under orange blink kan konfigurations kort användas)
3. Grön indikering blinkar under 90 sekunder
4. Visa Key setupkortet för läsaren innan den slutar blinka grönt.
5. Håll kvar kortet vid läsaren i minst 15-20 sekunder.
Läsaren piper med två pip i sekunden (2Hz).
6. När läsaren indikerar med ett ”kvitter” är programmeringen av
nycklarna klar.
** Om läsaren inte hamnar i setup läge, punkt 2 ovan. Skugga läsaren
med handen vid DIP-omkopplaren och starta samtidigt om läsaren igen.

OBS!
Om en mobil som presenteras för en Pando Secure Go inte har
krypteringsnycklar som överensstämmer med de i läsaren kommer den
inte att sända någon data.
Mobiltelefon modes
Det finns fyra olika ”modes” från mobiltelefonen som man kan anpassa
läsaren att acceptera.
Tap: Vilket innebär att man berör läsaren med telefonen på samma sätt
som ett kort
* Twist and Go: Man vickar telefonen i sidled och tillbaka för att aktivera
den läsare man är närmast.
* Seamless: Telefonen aktiverar den läsare man är närmast, utan att man
i de flesta fall behöver röra själva telefonen, I detta läge kan DIP funktion
1 rekommenderas om det finns flera läsare nära varandra. Vissa telefoner
kräver dock att de är upplåsta för att BLE funktionen ska vara aktiverad.
Notification: Aktivera läsaren via smart watch. Mobilen måste vara inom
räckhåll för både klocka och läsare.
* Funktionerna ”Twist and Go” & ”Seamless” måste även aktiveras i
Mobile Access applikationen.
Aktivera, de-aktivera funktioner samt justera läsarens accepterade läsavstånd
För respektive funktion / mobiltelefonsmode kan man ställa in om funktionen ska vara aktiv eller
ej, samt justera avståndet man önskar mellan mobil och läsaren. Detta görs med hjälp av
konfigurationskort.
QR Konfigurationskort info.
Under de första 20 sekunderna efter spänningstillslag när den orange LED blinkar kan man justera
funktion och avstånd på läsaren. När man har visat ett konfigurationskort inom de första 20
sekunderna har man 30 sekunder på sig att visa kortet igen eller att byta till annat
konfigurationskort.
För att t ex justera ”Seamless” läsavståndet, välj konfigurationskortet som är märkt
”BLE Seamless Configuration Card”.
Starta om läsaren och visa kortet för läsaren. Varje gång man visar kortet för läsaren kommer
summern i läsaren att pipa 1–6 gånger och avståndet ändrar sig. De olika funktionerna har olika
antal steg.
1 pip = funktion av,
2 pip = kortast accepterat läsavstånd, 6 pip = längsta accepterat läsavstånd.
Se manual för konfigurationskorten för detaljerad information om respektive funktionskortsfunktion
och värden. QR-koden på kortens baksida är en länk till konfigurationskortens informationsblad.
Prova med en mobiltelefon som hör till systemet om rätt avstånd och funktion har uppnåtts för
respektive funktion.
Konfigurationskorten är inte systembundna och kan i och med det användas på olika system
Konfigurationskortssatsen för de olika läsmetoderna samt läsavstånd beställs separat. Samtliga typer

När Pando Go läsaren konfigureras behöver man ta hänsyn till avståndet från den aktuella Pando
Go läsaren till nästa Pando Go läsare för att man ska få önskad funktion och att rätt dörr aktiveras
av mobiltelefonen. Välj funktion samt avstånd efter rådande förutsättningar.
Tänk på att skal samt fodral på mobiltelefoner kan sänka Bluetooth-signalens räckvidd avsevärt.
Om inte tillräcklig längd uppnås, avlägsna fodralet. Det finns även variationer mellan olika
mobiltelefonfabrikat och modeller gällande räckvidden.

1. Bryt och slå till spänningen till läsaren med locket öppet. (Läsaren i sabotageläge)

3. När den gröna indikeringen blinkar (vilket den kommer att göra i 90 sekunder)
visa och håll kvar setup-kortet mot läsaren.
4. Läsaren indikerar med ett ”kvitter” att programmeringen är klar och den gröna
indikeringen slocknar.
5. Läsaren är nu programmerad med anläggningens krypteringsnycklar.
** Om läsaren inte hamnar i setup läge, punkt 2 ovan. Skugga läsaren med handen vid
DIP-omkopplaren och starta samtidigt om läsaren igen.
OBS!
Om ett användare kort som presenteras för läsaren inte har krypteringsnycklar
som överensstämmer med de i läsaren kommer den inte att visa någon indikering.

About Pando Secure Go reader
Pando Secure Go reader will be referred to as the reader or Pando in this
document.
Pando Secure Go is a Hi-O reader for reading MIFARE Classic, DESFire
applications, iCLASS and SEOS. By default the reader reads serial number
on the cards and the reader can be configured to read e.g a DESFire
application with diversified keys. All configurations are made with a
customer specific Setup card.
Pando Secure Go reader is also capable to handle mobile keys via
Bluetooth and or NFC. The reader is configured with a function card for
Bluetooth reading method and reading distance. Customer-specific
mobile keys are set via a setup card.
Installation
The reader is connected via Hi-O to DAC530, DAC564 and LCU9101.
Indications on the outside of Pando Secure Go
The reader has a green and a red LED . The green LED can also flash
orange. The function for these is described in the table below for the
various phases during configuration and operation.
Indications at startup
(1) Flashing orange
Flash for 10 seconds: The reader is waiting for
a setup card or configuration card.
(2) Flashing Green
Flashing for 90 seconds: The reader is waiting
for a setup card.
This sequence can be interrupted by holding a
user card in front of the reader for 7 seconds

Hi-O installation
Connect the CAN bus to CAN-H and CAN-L Connect the power to terminals, + 12V & 0V in the
DAC/LCU.

DIP1: Unlock immediately or after being touched
BLE readers can be chosen to unlock immediately when it sees a valid mobile phone within
their area or unlock when the reader key 0 has been pressed
DIP1 OFF
The reader unlocks immediately when a valid phone is within the reader's reach. flash
orange then it turns green or red depending on whether you have access to the door or
not.
DIP1 ON
The "0" needs to be pressed 0,5 seconds and a valid phone is within the reader's reach.
There are two different modes
1. (Configuration card ”Advertise” 1 beep)
The reader must be touched for all different mobile modes
2. (Configuration card ”Advertise” 2 beep) ”Default”
The reader must be touched in order for "Seamless mode" to work.
“Tap”, “Twist and Go”and ”Notification” works directly without touching the reader.
When pressing the "0" on the reader for a 0,5 second, the reader will within 5 seconds register
the mobile phone that is within the readers range. Reader flash green after touch and orange
when the mobile phone connects. The reader will then turn green or red depending on
whether or not you have access to the door.
DIP5 ON: Delayed reactions at A and B keys
To delay the A and B key to avoid unwanted maneuvers set the DIP 5 to ON.
DIP8 ON: Extended operating time when using mobile keys
Example: Disarm with a mobile card
Disarm by pressing "A". and make a Twist & Go movement with your phone and enter the PIN
code at the reader's request. The time to perform these three steps has been extended when
DIP 8 is set to ON. The function also works on eg maneuvers 2A, 3A etc.
This function cannot be used for switching relay-switched alarms on or off. In this case, DIP 8
needs to be set to OFF.
The DIP8 function does not need to be used after LCU FW version AAx.x.xx_ACP-3.1.1-xxxx

1. Turn Off and On the power to the reader.

Configuration of system keys
(Only the first time a reader is taken into use)
Read the whole instruction before you start with the configuration.
1) Power off and on the reader with the lid open
2) ** Orange indication flashes for 20 seconds
(During orange flashing, configuration cards can be used)
3) Green indicator flashes for 90 seconds
4) Show the Key setup card to the reader before it stops flashing
green
5) Keep the card on the reader for at least 15-20 seconds
The reader will beep with two beeps per second (2Hz)
6) When the reader indicates with a "chirp" the programming of
the keys is complete
** If the reader does not end up in setup mode, point 2 above.
Shadow the reader with your hand at the DIP switch and restart the
reader again.

NOTE! If a mobile phone presented for a Pando Secure Go does not have
encryption keys that match those in the reader, it will not send any data.
Mobile phone modes
There are four different modes from the mobile phone that you can
customize for the reader to accept.
Tap: Which means that you touch the BLE reader with the phone in the
same way as a card
* Twist and Go: You turn the phone from side to side to activate the BLE
reader closest to you.
* Seamless: The phone activates the readers closest to you without
having to touch the mobile phone itself, some phones require to be unlocked
for the BLE feature to be activated. In this mode, DIP function 1 can be
recommended if there are several BLE readers close to each other.
Notification: Enable the BLE reader via smart watch. The mobile phone
must be within reach of both clock and readers.
* Functions ”Twist and Go” & ”Seamless” must also be enabled in the
Mobile Access application.
Enable and disable features and adjust readers accepted reading distance
For each function / mobile phone mode, you can set whether the function should be
active or not and adjust the distance you want between the mobile phone and the
reader. This is done by using the configuration card.
QR Configuration Card Info.
During the first 20 seconds after power on, you can adjust the function and distance
of the reader. After displaying a configuration card within the first 20 seconds, you
have 30 seconds to display the card again or switch to a another configuration card.
For example, to adjust the "Seamless" reading distance, select the configuration card
labeled
"
BLE Seamless Configuration Card".
Restart the reader and view the card for the reader. Each time the card is displayed to
the reader the reader will beep 1-6 times and the distance changes. The different
functions have different numbers of step.
1 beep = function off
2 beeps = shortest accepted reading distance, 6 beeps = longest accepted reading distance.
See the configuration card manual for detailed information of each card function and
values. The QR code on the back of the card is a link to the configuration card information
sheet.
Try with a mobile phone that belongs to the system if the correct distance and function has
been achieved for each function.
The configuration cards are not system-bound and can be used on different systems.
The configuration cards for the different reading methods and reading distances are
ordered separately. All types of configuration cards are included.

When the BLE reader is configured, the distance from the current Pando BLE reader to
the next Pando BLE reader must be taken into account to get the desired function and
the correct door activated by the mobile phone. Select function and distance
according to the current conditions.
Keep in mind that the range of the bluetooth signal may be significantly reduced
when using mobile phone cases. If not the sufficient length is achieved remove the
case.
The Bluetooth range may also vary between different mobile phone manufacturers
and models.

The "Notification" features via smart watch does not work without the phone being
within reach of both clock and readers.
Message in App "No reader in range" or
"Twist and Go not supported by reader". See the configuration card manual, scan the
QR code with the mobile.
Configuration of sector reading
1. Power off and on the reader with the lid open
2. ** Orange indicator flash in 20 seconds
3. Green indicator flashes, flash for 90 seconds.
4. Before the green LED stops flashing, show the Setup card to the reader
5. The reader indicates that the programming is finished with a “chirp” and the green
indication is unlit.
6. The reader is now programmed with the encryption keys for the site.
Note! If a card presented to a Pando Secure reader doesn’t have encryption keys corresponding
with the reader the reader will not indicate that anything is wrong and the reader will not send any
data.
** If the reader does not end up in setup mode, point 2 above. Shadow the reader with your
hand at the DIP switch and restart the reader again.
