Warning

CAUTION: Certain parts of this product can become
very hot and cause burns. Particular attention must
be paid in the presence of children and vulnerable
individuals.
-This appliance must be kept away from children under the age of 3,
unless under constant supervision.
-Children aged between 3 and 8 may only switch the appliance on or off,
on condition that it is place or installed in a normal, intended position
and that the children are supervised or have received instructions
concerning the safe use of the appliance and clearly understand the
potential hazards. Children aged between 3 and 8 must not connect,
adjust or clean the appliance or perform the user maintenance.
-This unit can be used by children who are at least 8 years old and by
people with reduced physical, sensory or mental capacities or people
lacking experience or knowledge if they are correctly supervised or
if they have been given and have understood instructions concerning
safe use of the unit. Children must not play with the appliance. The
unit must not be cleaned or serviced by children without supervision.
-This appliance must only be connected by an authorised person in
accordance with the rules and standards in force.
-The heater must not be placed just below a power outlet.
-To avoid all dangers for very young children, it is recommended that
this appliance be installed such that the lowest heated bar is at least
600 mm above the ground.
-If the power cable is damaged, it must be replaced by the manufacturer,
its customer service or a professional with similar qualication to
prevent any hazards.

-When the appliance is heated for the rst time, a slight odour may
be noted. This results from the evacuation of any traces linked to the
manufacture of the appliance.
- As the surface of the appliance can be very hot, pay particular
attention if placing delicate clothing on top (e.g.: nylon, ...). Ensure that
any laundry is colour-fast before placing it on the towel dryer.
-You can access the user manual for this appliance by visiting the
manufacturer’s website indicated on the warranty card in this manual.
-Our appliances are incompatible with energy management systems or
shut-off load shedding systems. They will damage the thermostat.
-For safety reasons, it is formally prohibited to rell the appliances. If
necessary, contact a qualied professional.
Appliances carrying this symbol must not be disposed of
with household waste. They must be collected separately
and recycled.
Products at the end of their life must be collected and
recycled in accordance with the local provisions and decrees.
Installing an appliance at altitude causes an increase in the
air outlet temperature (10°C per 1,000m change in altitude).

Installation
Installation rules
-This appliance has been designed for installation in a residential setting.
For any other scenario, please consult your dealer.
-Installation must be carried out in accordance with good industrial
practice, and with standards in force in the country of installation.
-In wet environments such as bathrooms and kitchens, the connection
box must be installed at least 25 cm from the oor.
Keep the appliance out of the way of any air currents that
might disrupt its operation (e.g.: under a ventilation system, etc.).

Before any maintenance action, cut the power supply to the appliance.
To maintain the appliance's performance, it needs to be dusted
approximately twice a year.
Never use abrasive products or solvents.

CONNECTING THE APPLIANCE
Connection rules
-The device must be powered with 220-230 V Single phase 50Hz.
-The device's power supply must be connected directly to the network
after the circuit breaker and without an intermediate switch.
-The power supply must be connected directly to the network after
the single-pole disconnection mechanism in accordance with the
installation rules.
-If the power cable is damaged, it must be replaced by the manufacturer,
its after-sales service or any suitably qualied person, in order to avoid
any danger.

There is an On/Off switch situated under the appliance's control
panel. Use this only for a prolonged shutdown
(several days).
If you set the date and time, when the appliance is powered off, you
may be asked to re-set.

Manual Mode
The appliance continuously follows the setpoint
temperature (desired temperature).
PrograMMing Mode
The appliance follows internal programs for
each day of the week. These programs dene at
what time of day the appliance must follow the
Comfort temperature (setpoint temperature set
in Manual mode) or the Eco temperature (non-
modiable setpoint temperature of - 3.5°C), or
be switched off. Some programs are predened.
They can be personalised (see “Personalising a
program”).
BooST Mode
The appliance operates at maximum power
for a period of 15 to 60 minutes.
Several operating modes are available:

To use programming mode, you must first
set the time and day in Settings
(“Settings”, page 11 ).

INITIAL SWITCH-ON
Use
Boost mode is used to operate the appliance at maximum power
for a period of between 15 and 60 minutes, in order to increase the
temperature quicker.

To activate or deactivate the BOOST function, press

The BOOST time is set by default to 15 minutes. It can be modied to
30, 45 or 60 minutes, using these buttons . After a few seconds,
the BOOST countdown (in minutes) will be displayed.

No temperature settings can be made in Programming mode.
To set the Comfort setpoint temperature, go to Manual mode.
Use the buttons to display the appliance's operating program
(Co, Ec, oF).
If the screen displays Co, you are in a Comfort operating slot.
If the screen displays Ec, you are in an ECO operating slot. The ECO
temperature is set 3.5°C below the Comfort temperature. The ECO
temperature cannot exceed 19° C.
If the screen displays oF, the appliance will not heat.

There is an automatic inactivity timeout from Settings after one minute.
After a power outage, the programming is retained. You may
need to re-set the day and time.

Your appliance's controls can be child-locked by pressing and holding these two buttons
at the same time for more than 3 seconds.
Then when you press one of the buttons, will be displayed. The controls will be locked.
Perform the same operation to unlock. The following screen will be displayed .

Advanced functions
There may be a difference between the setpoint temperature and the temperature actually
measured in the room. This is generally due to the radiator installation conditions (location,
power/volume, room insulation, etc.). Calibration is used to adapt the thermostat setting to
the actual room conditions.
1 - Switch the radiator to manual mode at 20°C, and wait for a few hours.
2 - Measure the room temperature using a thermometer and calculate the difference
difference = measured temperature - setpoint temperature.
3 - Press and hold the and buttons at the same time for more than 3 seconds to
display (Calibration).
4 - Press , will ash alternately with the currently set difference .
5 - Set the new value using the buttons (between -3°C and +3°C).
6 - Press to exit.
Example: After several hours in manual mode with a setpoint temperature of 20°C, I measure
a room temperature of 18°C. So I set a difference of 18-20=-2.

CALIBRATION
The radiator can save a maximum temperature (of between 19° C and 28° C), which the
settings cannot exceed. By default, it is set to 28° C.
1 - Press and hold the and buttons at the same time for more than 3 seconds to
display .
2 - Press to display (Max Temperature).
3 - Press , will ash alternately with the currently set maximum temperature .
4 - Set the new value using the buttons (between 19°C and 28°C).
5 - Press to exit.

It is possible to reset the radiator, erasing all the settings made (programs, calibration,
maximum temperature, heating indicator). This function is particularly useful in case of
programming errors.
1 - Press and hold the and buttons at the same time for more than 3 seconds to

5 - Press to conrm. All the indicators will light up. The radiator will then return to
manual mode at 19°C.

FACTORY SETTINGS
There is an automatic inactivity timeout on the control panel display after a few seconds,
with the exception of the heating indicator, which is lit when the resistor power supply is on.
It is possible to congure the panel so that the indicator goes out when the panel display is
switched off.

HEATING STANDBY INDICATOR
To increase the appliance's service life and optimise its operation, there is an automatic
bleed built into the upper part of the towel dryer radiator frame.
This operates completely autonomously, with no user operations required.

Troubleshooting
Problem encountered Checks to carry out
The control panel
does not light up.
The display is on standby. Press any button to activate the display. Check
that the appliance is connected to the power supply. Check that the
switch is in position I.
The heating indicator
does not light up.
The heating indicator lights up when the power supply to the resistor
is on.
Check the ambient temperature. If it is above the setpoint temperature,
it is normal for the indicator not to light up
Check that the indicator lighting is active. Look up “Heating standby
indicator”
The room
temperature is
different from that
displayed by the
appliance.
You have to wait at least 6 hours for the temperature to stabilise.
Depending on your installation, you may read a different temperature to
that displayed on the appliance. You can adjust the setpoint temperature
to the temperature read in the room (see «Calibration»).
The appliance does
not heat up.
If you have selected a programme, check that you are in a Comfort time
slot. Make sure that the installation's circuit breakers are engaged. Check
the air temperature in the room: if it is too high compared to the setpoint
temperature, the appliance will not heat up.
The appliance heats
all the time
Check that the appliance is not in an air current (open door nearby, cold air
intake via the connection box at the rear of the appliance, ventilation system)
or that the temperature setting has not been altered.
There may be a problem in the electrical network. In the event of a
problem (thermostat jammed, etc.), cut the power to the appliance (fuse,
circuit breaker) for about 10 minutes, then switch it on again
The appliance does
not heat enough.
Increase the setpoint (see “Manual mode”).
If the setting is at its maximum, make the following checks:
- Check if another heating method is present in the room.
- Check that your appliance only heats the room in question (door closed).
- Check that the power of your appliance is appropriate for the size of
the room (we recommend an average of 100 W/m2 for a ceiling height of 2.50
m or 40 W/m3).
The appliance takes
time to heat up.
The electric heater heats up the uid, which gradually and naturally starts
circulating inside the appliance. The uid's inertia properties mean that
the appliance's surface temperature only reaches an optimal level after at
least 15 mins, depending on the ambient temperature and losses from the
room when the appliance is heating up.
The surface of the
appliance is very hot.
The appliance can be expected to be hot when operating, while the
maximum surface temperature is limited in accordance with the NF
standard "Électricité Performance" [electrical performance]. If however
you feel that your appliance is still too hot, check that the power is suited
to the area of your room (we recommend 100 W/m2 for a ceiling height
of 2.50 m or 40 W/m3), and that the appliance is not placed in an air
current affecting its regulation (e.g.: under a ventilation system). Check
the room temperature against the setpoint temperature.
The top and bottom
parts are less hot
than the rest of the
appliance
At the top, the upper parts are not completely lled to enable
thermodynamic uid expansion. They are heated by conduction.
At the bottom, the lower parts carry back the uid which has transmitted
its heat.

Upon unpacking or installation, it is normal to hear the uid circulating in
the appliance's frame.

months from the date of manufacture in the absence of a receipt.
