•n direct sunlight.
•Locations of extreme temperature or humidity.
•Excessively dusty or dirty locations.
•Locations of excessive vibration.
•Close to magnetic fields.

•Please use the included power supply, if you are forced to replace it, use a 15V DC. 2A 5.5mm
barrel plug center positive power supply.
•To avoid breakage, do not apply excessive force to the switches or controls.
•f the exterior becomes dirty, wipe it with a clean, dry cloth.
•Do not use liquid cleaners such as benzene or thinner or cleaning compounds or flammable
polishes.
•Keep foreign matter out of your equipment
•Never set any container with liquid in it near this equipment. f liquid gets into the equipment, it
could cause a breakdown, fire, or electrical shock.
•Be careful not to let metal objects get into the equipment.
Basic operation:
•Connect the included power supply to mains and the power supply output to the Koe power
input.
•Turn on the unit by sliding the power switch to the right.
•Please avoid connecting the power supply to mains while the power switch is in the “on”
position (to the right).
•Connect the “AUD O” output to your mixer or amplifier. Note that the audio output is not
intended to be used with headphones.
•Connect a voltage source (e.g. sequencer, keyboard)to the 1V/Oct input and a gate source to
the Gate input.
•f the Delay module does not start when the unit is turned on, disconnect any cable connected
to the Delay_CV input connector, turn off and then turn the unit on again.
M D channel configuration.
•Connect a midi controller (keyboard, sequencer, computer with a usb to midi adaptor) to the
“M D ” input using the included breakout cable adaptor.

•Push the “Midi Learn” button once, the LED will light.
•Send a midi note from your controller, the red LED will go dark and the Koe will set at the same
midi channel to the controller.
M D CC configuration.
•Connect a midi controller (keyboard, sequencer, computer with a usb to midi adaptor) to the
“M D ” input using the included breakout cable adaptor.
•Push the “Midi Learn” button once, the LED will light.
•Move the desired knob or control in your midi controller, the red LED will go dark and the CC
output will be configured to that midi cc control.
M D synchronization of the random generator module.
•Push the “Midi Learn” button for one second until the mode LED flashes 3 times with white
light. The random generator will be synchronized with the incoming midi clock, and the Rate
knob becomes a clock rate multiplier.
•To reverse it and return to the internal clock, push the “Midi Learn” button for one second until
the mode LED lights in white continuously for one second.

•Ext/Fdb. This sets the level of the third channel and out of the factory it is connected to the
output of the DCO.
•EXT input connector: it is the input of the mixer’s thirth channel, when there is nothing plugged
to it is normalized (normally connected) to the DCO. n the circuits side there is a EXT jumper,
if it is set to Fdb, then this connector will be normalized to the audio output for a feedback
effect.
•M X output connector: it outputs the main mix of the mixer.
LFO (Low frequency oscillator)
•LFO knob, it sets the frequency of the low frequency oscillator.
•LFO_CV input connector: it controls the frequency of the oscillator by voltage.
•LFO output connector: it is the output of the low frequency oscillator.
Random Voltage Generator.
•Rate knob: it sets the frequency of the random generator (all modes except midi CC mode).
When in midi sync mode it sets the clock rate multiplier, to 1/4bpm, 1/2bpm, 1/3bpm, 1bpm (at
the center), 3/2bpm, 2bpm, 3bpm, 4bpm, 8bpm as it is turned clockwise.

•Mode knob: it sets the mode and is indicated by a different color of the mode LED as it is
turned clockwise:
•Red; Sample and Hold mode: t generated a stepped random voltage. As the mode
knob is turn clockwise it increases in level up to a range of 0 to 10 volts.
•Blue; Random voltage mode: t generates a random voltage, As the mode knob is
turned clockwise it increases in level up to a range of 0 to 10 volts.
•Green; Dust mode: it generates short pulses of random voltages at a constant rate.
•Magenta; Random gate mode: it generates a gate signal of 10 volts randomly.
•Cyan; Pulse mode: t generates a pulse or square wave at a rate determined by the rate
knob.
•Yellow; midi CC mode: it outputs a voltage determined by the pre configured midi CC
controller.
•RND output connector: it outputs the voltage from the random voltage generator.
VCF (Voltage Controlled Filter)

connected to the Envelope Generator.
•VCF input connector: it is the audio input to the voltage controlled filter, it is internally
connected to the output of the mixer, when a cable is plugged, it gets disconnected from the
mixer.
•VCF output connector: it is the audio output of the voltage controlled filter.
•CutOff_CV input connector: it controls the cut off frequency by voltage.
•Mod_CV input connector: it controls the cut off frequency by voltage, it is internally connected
