4.1. Ear tips
The Audéo PFE come with both silicone ear tips and ComplyTM

The ComplyTM Foam Tips are better at ltering out ambient
noise, making them the best choice for travel or use in noisy
surroundings.

slowly until it comes loose. Do not use your ngernails or any

4.2. Wearing the earphones
Audéo PFE deliver amazing sound if correctly inserted in the

performance, proceed as follows:
a. Turn the volume of the sound source to a minimum before

b. Choose the most comfortable ear tips and put them on the
earphones.
c. Identify the left and right earphone.
L = left
R = right
d. Attach the silicone ear guides to
the cables and pull through to the
earphones. Use of the ear guides is
optional. The ear guides route the
wires comfortably around the ears

noise, especially indicated during
exercise.
e. Hold each earphone with the cable
pointing up and the ear tips pointing
towards your head, as shown. If you

cable downwards to ensure a perfect t.
If you feel that the ear tips are too loose (insucient seal) or too

them out gently with a small rotation in order to break the seal.
Do not pull the cable to remove the earphones from your
ear.
4.3. Acoustic lters
The acoustic lters have an essential acoustic impact on the
sound of the earphones. The purpose of this lter is to deliver
sound that matches what one perceives when listening with
non-occluded ears. The product comes with two dierent types of
acoustic lters: The gray lter is for enhanced perception of the
mid-frequencies and the black lter for enhanced perception of
bass and treble. Because each individual‘s perception of sound is
unique, Audéo PFE allow you to choose the lter that suits your
personal preferences. Another function of the acoustic lter is to
prevent earwax (cerumen) from entering the sound tube.
Make sure that the acoustic lters are in place before using the
earphones. The earphones only function correctly if the lters
are inserted in the sound tube.
Always use the same color of acoustic lters for both the left
and right earphone.
Replace the acoustic lters when they become dirty or clogged
and the sound of the earphones is aected.

18
19
To change the acoustic lters proceed as follows:
a. First of all remove the ear tips (foam or
silicone) by holding them in the middle and
pulling them slowly until they come loose.
b. Remove the lter from the earpiece
by pushing the changing tool with the
threaded end into the used acoustic
lter, turn it to the right to screw it and
pull the used lter straight out.
Preferably use the threaded end of the
changing tool to remove the lters from
the sound tube.
c. Dispose of any soiled or damaged
acoustic lters. To reuse the lter in the
future, insert it straight in an empty
slot in the lter box, then turn the
changing tool to the left to unscrew
and remove it.
d. To place a new acoustic lter in the
earphones, press the split end of the
changing tool into the lter ring and

and mild soap, or with an antiseptic wipe. Always make sure
that the ear tips are dry before reusing them.
ComplyTM Foam Tips cannot be cleaned. When they are dirty
they should be replaced. The ocial recommended lifetime of
