Avantek Two
The center speaker is the most important speaker in a
Home Theater system. Up to 90% of movie sound is
reproduced through the center speaker, because most of
the dialogue as well as the majority of the action occurs in
the center of the picture.
Because of its placement, a center speaker should be
discrete, but it must be able to provide a full range of
frequency response. In order to develop a small speaker
that could meet these requirements with full power, we
had to use a rather esoteric technique. Avantek TWO
is equipped with one 5 1/4” shielded woofer and a 1”
shielded Soft Dome tweeter. Above that, we added one
5 1/4” passive radiator. This technique enables Avantek
TWO to deliver more and deeper bass than any other
center speaker of its size.
The enclosed stand allows Avantek TWO to be directed no
matter if it is placed above or under the TV set. With each
speaker, we enclose two different colors of front grill to
suit your own personal choice - black or light gray.
