This is without doubt one of our most successful speaker
ever. A2.42 is a floorstander in the real sense. Mature,
crisp sound with clean bass response. Hifi magazines are
astonished of the sharpness, detail and deep bass offered
in this price category. One of the secrets is to be found in
the bottom, the huge bass-vent aimed towards the floor.
This is to create maximum transfer function. The mounted
spikes ensure the function of the bass-vents by placing
the speakers 35mm above the floor.
Another secret is the selection of drive units, perfectly
matching each other. The strict LIVE design gives A2.42
a neat and elegant visual appearance.
