1. Allgemeine Information
1.1 Einführung
Vielen Dank für den Kauf des tragbaren »pro:ton«
Lautsprechersystems! Sie haben sich dabei für
moderne und zuverlässige Geräte entschieden.
Bitte lesen Sie diese Bedienungsanleitung auf-
merksam durch, um das System richtig in Be-
trieb nehmen zu können und mit allen gebotenen
Möglichkeiten vertraut zu werden.
»pro:ton« ist ein ideales System für Gruppenan-
wendungen - vom einfachen Aufbau einer
Soundfield-Anlage bishin zu einem kabellosen
Durchsagesystem für z.B. Zeltveranstaltungen.
Robust im Design vereint es Qualität und Viel-
seitigkeit mit Bedienungsfreundlichkeit und dem
neuesten Stand der Funktechnologie.

Um das System nutzen zu können, wird mindes-
tens 1 Mikrofonsender SP-100M und mindestens
1 Empfänger SP-100S oder SP-100R benötigt.

Bedienung
2.2 Ein- und Ausschalten
Halten Sie die Power-Taste etwa 2 Sekunden lang
gedrückt um das Gerät einzuschalten.
Die LCD-Anzeige leuchtet auf und die aktuell
eingestellte Lautstärke wird angezeigt.
Halten Sie die Power-Taste erneut etwa 2 Sekun-
den lang gedrückt um das Gerät nach Gebrauch
auszuschalten.
2.3 Empfangen
Nach dem Einschalten ist das Gerät sofort
empfangsbereit. Das Symbol , die aktuelle
Lautstärke „VOL“ und der Batteriestand werden
angezeigt.
2.4 Kanalgruppe auswählen
Schalten Sie das Gerät ein und halten Sie die
MODE-Taste 2 Sekunden lang gedrückt.
Das „GRP“-Symbol innerhalb der LCD-Anzeige
blinkt. Wählen Sie eine Gruppen-Nummer von 0
- 39 unter Verwendung der „  “ und „

“ -Tasten
aus. Warten Sie nach der Auswahl 5 Sekunden um
die Auswahl zu übernehmen.

Sender und zu deren Empfang bestimmten Emp-
fängergeräte müssen auf dieselbe Kanalgruppe
eingestellt sein.
2.5 Lautstärke einstellen
Die Wiedergabe-Lautstärke kann jederzeit von
»VOL 00« bis »VOL 09« eingestellt werden. Drü-
cken sie hierzu einfach die Tasten „  “ und „

“.
2.6 Eingänge MIC und AUX
Eingang MIC dient zum Anschluss eines Mik-
rofons mit dreipoligen 3,5 mm Klinkenstecker.
Eingang AUX dient als Line-In für analoge Au-
diosignale (Stereo- oder Mono). Beide Eingänge
können gleichzeitig verwendet werden, somit
kann, zum Beispiel, eine Sprachdurchsage mit
Musik hinterlegt werden.
Somit kann der Funklautsprecher auch ohne Ein-
satz des Mikrofonsenders SP-100M zur Sprach-
verstärkung eingesetzt werden.
Der Pegel des anliegenden Signals am AUX-Ein-
gang muss an der Audioquelle eingestellt wer-
den. Eine separate Pegeleinstellung der Eingän-
ge ist über den SP-100S ist nicht möglich.
2.7 Stromversorgung / Auaden
Das Gerät besitzt einen Lithium-Ionen-Akku mit
7,4 V / 1700 mAh.
Stecken Sie zum Laden des Akkus das USB-Ka-
bel in die USB-Buchse des SP-100S und verbin-
den Sie das Kabel mit einem USB-Anschluss
(PC, Notebook, USB-Netzteil).

Die rote Ladestatus-LED leuchtet während des
Ladevorgangs. Bei erfolgter, vollständiger Ladung
schaltet sich die LED aus.
Der Akku befindet sich unter dem Batteriefach-
deckel. Eine Entnahme des Akkus ist nur im Fall
eines Austauschs notwendig. Drücken Sie hierzu
die Veriegelungslasche seitlich leicht zur Geräte-
mitte hin und klappen sie den Batteriedeckel auf.
Bitte beachten Sie: Der Akku kann in mehreren
Richtungen eingesetzt werden. Achten Sie darauf,
dass die Kontaktflächen des Akkus und die Kon-
taktzungen im Batterieschacht aufeinander sitzen.
Im Falle eines falsch eingesetzten Akkus besteht
zwar keine Gefahr der Beschädigung, das Gerät
wird in aber in diesem Fall nicht mit Strom versorgt.
2.8 Trageriemen
An den Seiten des Gehäuses befinden sich
ausklappbare Halterungen für die mitgelieferten
Trageriemen. Wählen Sie zwischen Hand- und
Schultertrageriemen aus.
Fädeln Sie das Ende des gewählten Riemens
durch die ausgeklappten Halterungen des Gerä-
tes und verschließen Sie Druckknöpfe.

Wartung und Pege
Alle pro:ton-Geräte sind wartungsfrei.
Bei Verschmutzung sollten Sie die Geräte ge-
legentlich mit einem weichen, angefeuchteten
Tuch reinigen.
Verwenden Sie niemals Alkohol, Verdünner oder
andere organische Lösungsmittel.
Setzen Sie die Geräte bitte nicht über längere Zeit
direkter Sonneneinstrahlung aus und schützen
diese darüber hinaus vor großer Hitze, Feuch-
tigkeit oder starker mechanischer Erschütterung.
Achtung: Die Geräte sind nicht gegen Spritzwas-
ser geschützt. Stellen Sie keine mit Flüssigkeit
gefüllten Gegenstände, z.B. Vasen, neben
die Geräte. Ebenfalls dürfen keine offenen
Brandquellen, wie z.B. brennende Kerzen, in die
unmittelbare Nähe der Geräte gestellt werden.
Garantie
Alle pro:ton-Geräte weisen eine hohe Betriebssi-
cherheit auf. Sollten trotz sachgerechter Bedie-
nung Störungen auftreten, setzen Sie sich bitte
mit Ihrem Fachhändler in Verbindung oder wen-
den Sie sich direkt an den Hersteller.
Die Garantieleistung umfasst die kostenlose Re-
paratur sowie den kostenlosen Rückversand.
Das Einsenden sollte möglichst in der Original-
verpackung erfolgen, werfen Sie diese also nicht
weg.
Die Garantie verfällt bei Schäden, die durch
unsachgemäße Behandlung oder Reparaturver-
suchen von nicht autorisierten Personen (Zerstö-
rung des Gerätesiegels) herbeigeführt wurden.

Garantiereparaturen werden nur bei Einsendung
der ausgefüllten Garantiekarte und einer Kopie
der Rechnung/Kassenbeleg des Fachhändlers
durchgeführt.
Die Gerätenummer muss in jedem Fall mit an-
gegeben werden.
Entsorgung von gebrauchten elektrischen
schen und elektronischen Geräten (anzu-
wenden in den Ländern der Europäischen
Union und anderen europäischen Ländern mit ei-
nem separaten Sammelsystem für diese Geräte).
Das Symbol auf dem Produkt oder seiner Verpa-

1. General information
1.1 Introduction
Thank you very much for purchasing the portable
»pro:ton« PA-system! You have chosen modern
and reliable devices. Please read this manual ca-
refully to be able to set the system up correctly
and to familiarise yourself with all the features the
system has to offer.
»pro:ton« is an ideal system for application within
groups – ranging for example from the setup of
a simple soundfield to a wireless PA-system for
camping parties.
With its robust design, it combines quality and
versatility with ease of use and state-of-the-art
radio technology.
1.2 Scope of delivery pro:ton SP-100S
Please check if all of the following components
are included:

How to use
2.2 Power ON / OFF
Press and hold the power button for about 2 se-
conds to switch the device on.
The LC-display will light up and the current volu-
me level is shown.
To switch the device off after use: Press the power
button again for 2 seconds.
2.3 Reception
Reception will start as soon as the device is swit-
ched on. The symbols , the currently set vo-
lume level and the battery status are indicated.
2.4 Channel group selection
Switch the device on and press the MODE-button
for 2 seconds.
The symbol „GRP« in the display will blink. Select
a channel group number of your choice between
00 and 39 by pressing the »  « and »

« buttons.
After the selection, wait for 5 seconds to set the
chosen group number.
The »GRP«-symbol will stop to blink and the selec-
ted group number is displayed.

Transmitters and the receivers intended for their
reception must be set to the same channel group.
2.5 Setting the volume
The volume can be adjusted between »VOL 00«
to »VOL 09« by simply pressing the »  « and
»

« buttons at any time.
2.6 MIC and AUX inputs
The MIC input serves to connect a microphone
with a 3-pole 3.5 mm jack plug. Input AUX is in-
tended as line-in for analogue audio signals (ste-
reo or mono).
Both inputs may be used at the same time. This
makes it, for example, possible to underline spo-
ken commentary with music.
Through this feature, the speaker can be used as
a voice amplifier, even without the microphone
transmitter SP-100M.
The level of the audio signal at the AUX input
must be adjusted via the audio source. An indi-
vidual adjustment of both inputs is not possible
via the SP-100S.
2.7 Power supply / recharge
The device is equipped with a rechargeable lithium-
ion battery of 7,4 V / 1700 mAh.
To charge the battery, plug the USB charging
cable into the USB socket of the SP-100S and
connect it to a regular USB port (computer, lap-
top, USB power supply).
The red charging status LED is lit during recharge.

The LED switches off when the battery is fully loa-
ded.
The rechargeable battery is located in the battery
compartment. Removing the battery is only requi-
red in case of replacement. To access the battery,
press the locking latch slightly sideways towards
the middle of the device and open the lid.
Please note: The rechargeable battery can be
inserted in several directions. Make sure that the
contacts of the battery and the device are facing
each other when inserting it. In case of an incor-
rect placement, no damage will occur but the de-
vice will not power up.
2.8 Carry straps
Foldable holders for the included carry straps are
located at the sides of the device. Choose either
the hand- or the shoulder strap.
Thread the end of the strap through the outfolded
strap holder and close the press studs.

Maintenance and care
All »pro:ton«-devices do not require any main-
tenance. If they become dirty, simply wipe them
clean with a soft, damp cloth.
Never use spirits, thinners or other organic sol-
vents. Do not expose them to full sunlight.
In addition, they must be protected against exces-
sive heat, moisture and severe mechanical shocks.
Note: These products are not protected against
splash water. Do not place any containers filled
with water, such as flower vases, or anything with
an open flame, such as a lit candle, above or
near the products.
Warranty
All »pro:ton«-devices are very reliable products.
Should a malfunction occur despite the unit ha-
ving been set up and operated correctly, please
contact your dealer or the manufacturer directly.
This warranty covers the repair of the product
and returning it to you free of charge. If possible,
send in the product in its original packaging, so
do not throw the packaging away.
The warranty does not apply to damage caused
by incorrect handling or attempts to repair the
unit by unauthorised persons (destruction of the
seal on the unit).
Repairs will only be carried out under warranty if
the completed warranty card is returned accom-
panied by a copy of the dealer’s invoice/till receipt.
Always specify the product serial number in
any event.
