IfaproblemshoulddevelopwhileoperatingtheCDchanger,theerrorcode“Err”mayappearonthedisplay
panel. This can indicate a number of problems with the unit, including a mechanical error or an error in the
microprocessorcontrolofthechanger. Iftheerrorcodeshouldappear,tryejectingandre-loadingthemagazine
intothechanger. Whilethemagazineisoutofthechanger,makesurethediscsareclean,undamaged,and
loadedcorrectly(seeOwner’sManualoftheCDchanger). YoumayalsotryactivatingtheRe-Setbuttoncr
on the unit, but this will also erase the time and pre-set memories.

IMPORTANT:TheCDChangerSelectorSwitchonthe
bottom of the chassis must be set to the correct
positiontomatch the type of changerbeingused with
thisradio. TheRe-Setbuttoncr shouldthenbepressed
toactivatethechangeofposition. Ifyouarenotsureof
thecorrectswitchpositionforyourmodelofCDchanger,
pleasecheckwithyourRampage/Audiovoxretaileror
contactusdirectlyat1-800-645-4994.

is "B".
Adjustment of the audio functions (volume, tone,
balance,andfader)fortheCDchangeroperateinthe
samemannerastheydoforradioplay. Thefollowing
controls will operate the CD changer when it is
installed and connected to this radio. Refer to the
owner’s manual included with the CD changer for
instructions on the installation and correct loading
anduse of the CDmagazine.
ct CDCHANGERMODESELECTOR(CD)
PAUSE/PLAY SELECTOR ( II )
Duringradio,ortapeplay,pressthisbuttontoselect
operationoftheCDchangerasshownby “CD-C”and
“CdC”onthe display panel. Disc play willbeginand
thediscandtracknumberwillbeshownonthedisplay
panel. If a new magazine has been loaded into the
changer,playwillbeginfromthefirsttrackofthefirst
discinthemagazine. Ifamagazinewasalreadyinthe
changer, play will resume from the track on the disc
previouslyinplay.
DuringCDchangerplay,pressingthisbuttononcewill
return to the radio operation. Pressing again will
change to tape play if a tape is loaded in the unit or
back to CD changer if no tape is loaded.
cu & dl DISC SELECT (CD+ & CD-)
Thesebuttonsareusedtoselectthedesireddiscfor
play. Toadvancetoahighernumberdisc,pressthe
CD+ button cu. To return to a lower number disc,
press the CD- button dl. The number of the disc in
play will be shown on the display panel.
dm TRACK SELECT ( / )
Thisbuttonisusedtoquicklyselectthebeginningof
aparticulartrack. Witheachmomentarypressofthe
Forward Track Select button ( ), the next higher
tracknumberwillbeselectedasshownonthedisplay
panel. Similarly, with each momentary press of the
Backward Track Select button ( ), the next lower
tracknumberwillbeselected. Pressingandholding
either button will continue to change tracks in the
selecteddirection.
dn FOWARDSEARCH (SEEK)
High-speedaudiblesearchtoanyforwardsectionof
thedisccanbemadewiththisfeature. Pressandhold
thebuttontoadvancerapidlyintheforwarddirection.
do TRACKREPEATPLAYSELECTOR (RPT)
When the Repeat button is pressed, the “RPT”
indicationwillappearonthedisplaypanelandplayof
the selected track will be continually repeated until
the Track Repeat mode is canceled by pressing the
RepeatbuttonagainorbyactivatingtheRandomdq
or Scan dp functions.
dp TRACKSCAN SELECTOR (SCN)
WhentheScanbuttonispressed,the“SCAN”indication
will appear on the display panel, and the first 10
seconds of each track on the disc will be played in
order. When a desired track is reached, press the
Scanbuttonagainand play of the selected track will
continue (“SCAN” will disappear from the display
panel). The Track Scan mode will also be canceled
by activating any other disc function (Track Select,
RepeatorRandom).
dq RANDOMPLAYSELECTOR(RND)
When the Random button is pressed, the “RND”
indication will appear on the display panel and the
tracksonthediscwillbeplayedinarandom,shuffled
order. The Track Select buttons dm will also select
tracks in the shuffled order instead of the normal
progression. TheTrackShufflemodecanbecanceled
bypressing the Shuffle buttonagainorbyactivating
the Repeat do or Scan dp functions.
