bu REPEAT PLAYSELECTOR (RPT)
During disc play, press this button to repeat the play of the
selected track (S--RPT will appear on the display panel). Play
of the track will continue to repeat until the button is pressed
again and the S--RPT indication disappears from the display
panel. Repeat Play mode will also be canceled by activating the
Shuffle Play cl or Track Scan cm functions.

cl SHUFFLE PLAY SELECTOR (SHF)
During disc play, press this button to play the tracks on the disc
ina randomor shuffledorder (S--SHF) willappear onthe display
panel). InShuffle Playmode, pressingthe ForwardTrack Select
(+) or the Backward Track Select ( -) will also select tracks
ina random orderinstead of thenormal progression. Additional
presses will select tracks in random order. The Shuffle Play
mode can be cancelled by pressing the button again (S--SHF)
indication will disappear from the display panel) or by activating
the Repeat Play bu or Track Scan cm functions.

cm TRACK SCAN (SCN)
During disc play, press this button to play the first 10 seconds of
eachtrack onthe disc (S--SCN will appear on the displaypanel).
Whena desired trackis reached,press the Scan button againto
cancel the function and play of the selected track will continue.
TrackScan modewill also be cancelled byactivating theRepeat
Play bu or Shuffle Play cl functions.

cn DISC EJECT ( )
Disc play is stopped, the disc is ejected and the unit will change
to radio operation by pressing this button.
If the disc is not removed from the disc slot within 15 seconds of
being ejected, it will automatically be re-loaded into the unit to
preventit frombeing accidentallydamaged. Play ofthe disc can
be resumed by using the MODE button cs to choose the CD
playerfunction.

co TIME/FREQUENCY SELECTOR (T/F)
This unit can display the clock time, radio frequency, CD player,
CD Changer or auxiliary (AUX) input functions on the display
panel.Pressing theTime/Frequency Selectorbutton willchange
the display to show the time. The time display will automatically
returnto theradio frequency, CDplayer,CDChanger orauxiliary
input function indication after 5 seconds.

cp FM MONO/STEREO SELECTOR (MONO)
DuringFM radiooperation, thisbutton isused to selectmonaural
orstereo receptionof thebroadcast signal. Undernormal recep-
tion conditions, the unit should be left in the stereo mode, as
indicated by ST on the display panel when listening to an FM
stereo signal. If the stereo signal is too weak for comfortable
listening, press the button to switch to monaural reception (the
ST indication will disappear from the display panel, MONO will
appearfor 5seconds, andMON willremain displayed).Toreturn
to the stereo reception mode, press the button again;
STEREOwill appear for5 seconds,the ST indicationreturns and
theMON indication disappears.
