August DA701C is an upgraded version of our popular DA701B, added built-in SD/MMC card
reader and USB jack features. Analogue and Freeview tuners enable you to watch over 40
Freeview channels and 5 analogue channels, listen to all digital radio stations. It is also a
multimedia player, plays video, music, photos in MP3, WAV, MPEG4, AVI and JPEG formats from
memory cards directly or an external mass storage with USB interface. It also supports scheduled
Freeview TV recording to an USB stick or external hard disk (FAT32).
With a built-in rechargeable battery, it is an ideal handheld portable TV and media player for your
holidays, caravan, boat, bedrooms or kitchens, and can also output TV and video to a larger
screen in your home as a Freeview set-top box and digital media player.

Please note the included portable antenna may only be used in areas where Freeview signal is very strong. There may be difficulties
in receiving TV signal with the portable antenna in some regions at present, this is due to the fact that Freeview service
(www.freeview.co.uk) is yet to operate in full power in the UK. The government aims to achieve a full switchover by 2012, which will
occur in stages, region by region between 2008 and 2012, at present the quality of the Freeview reception varies in different regions
across the UK.
