Removal and Replacement - Motorized DRS Shade assembly 4280(P):
This guide applies for both 1st Generation, and 2nd Generation of Standard Motors.
For instruction of how to access to the shade assembly behind the valence, contact your coach
manufacturer. You have the option to remove the whole shade assembly as explained in this guide, or to
remove only one single roller of the shade while the railing assembly untouched, as explained in Q-ref
19.

1. Before you remove the shade, you need to disconnect the cables of the shade from the coach. To
disconnect, press the tab on the Molex connector and pull to separate. See the following images:

2. To take the whole shade assembly off the ceilinig, while holding the shade, there are 3 types of
mountings.
2.1.Easy-clip mounting:
Press both tabs on the Ceiling Mount Clips upward to release the shade.

2.2.Screws on angle bracket mounting:
Remove two screws on each side of shade to the ceiling. The screws are just after the side of
shade.
2.3.There is also another type of mounting which is the same type as the windshield shade
mounting. Refer to Q-Ref 18.

3. To install the shade assembly back, follow above instructions in reverse order.
Note 1: If you like to replace only the Motor, using the same old shade, refer to Q-ref 19.
Note 2: After installation, to adjust the limits, go to Q-Ref 2.
