Introduction
The Multimedia LCD S1V is a cost-eective colour LCD display with an easy operation interface that supports local
video playback. The slim mechanical prole is an ideal choice for use in conned spaces for simple aesthetic feel in the
buildings.
The Multimedia LCD S1V series has the following function:
+Displays oor and travel direction of the elevator (when used with E-Motive Encoder)
+Displays date and time
+Displays user-dened messages/pictures slideshow at pre-dened time intervals
+Displays video playback of .mp4 and .avi format
+Displays in either landscape or portrait mode
+Displays layout and content based on User Content Editing Software

1. E-Motive 4-Wire output signal: 4-Wire
(Min CSA 0.75mm2)

Fault Finding:
1. If power is applied, the display will light up
and then the unit will boot up.
2. If the LCD boots up without a layout so
only a blue screen with arrow and oor
legend are visible then check to see if the
SDHC card is inserted properly.
3. If the LCD does not display Lift Info then
check the EMD Input D Dr connection.
Caution
1. Risk of electric shock. Never remove the
casing of the unit.
2. Ensure that the Power Supply is connected
properly and that the voltage is correct
before turning on the unit.
Mechanical Mounting
Wiring and Setup
1. Prepare the COP cut-out and the mounting
studs according to the mechanical drawing
of the screen used.
2. Next, mount the lens onto the LCD.
Please note that the lens is optional
and does not come with the screen. The
lens is recommended for the additional
protection and improved aesthetics of the
COP/Transom.
3. Mount the S1V LCD unit. Please note the
mounting position is indicated by a label
“This Side Up” at the back of the LCD.
4. Connect cable from the E-Motive Encoder
/ Converter to EMD of the S1V LCD.
5. Connect the 24VDC Power Supply Unit
provided to the INPUT port.
6. Connect the 8ohm speaker provided to the
Audio Output AUD-R.
7. Connect the Network cable CAT5e/6 into
the LAN port. (If network is required)
