THE MULTI-PANEL ADVANTAGE
The compact design of the MultiEdge Series is ideal for
multi-display systems, because it puts more viewing
area into less workspace and provides near-seamless
viewing between monitors. Enabling several open
applications to be seen simultaneously, such systems
are increasingly recognized as an effective means to
greater productivity. Users can handle more programs,
compare more information, and track more data,
without constant task-switching between windows. In
almost any professional work environment, that saves
space and time while making work much easier.
The MultiEdge Series offers corporate and administrative users a selection of LCD moni-
tors that integrate all the key advantages of EIZO’s display technology in a choice of practical
screen sizes.
Primary benefits include a thin bezel design that saves space on the desktop, built-in stereo
speakers for multimedia capability, and digital/analog connectors. Accurate color control and
wide-ranging adjustment of brightness and contrast make it easy to fine-tune the image as required
for the application in use. On performance alone, these monitors are convincing replacements for
17" and 19" CRTs, quite apart from the obvious benefit of their compact size. Flexible placement
options and the thin bezel profile also make them ideal for multi-panel tiling.
Available in three sizes — 15", 16" and 17" — the MultiEdge Series gives an impressive
look to the desktop while delivering the performance quality, space efficiency and greater produc-
tivity sought by today’s professional users.

DIGITAL AND ANALOG INPUT
Inclusion of both DVI-D and D-Sub 15-pin
connectors allows the monitors to be used with a
computer incorporating either
a digital or an analog graph-
ics card — or both, if two
computers are connected at
the same time. The user can alternate between the
two connectors via a button on the front bezel.
INTEGRATED SPEAKERS
Space-efficient and multimedia ready,
these monitors feature built-in stereo
speakers with volume and mute controls
and an external headphone jack.

ADVANCED COLOR CONTROL
MultiEdge monitors offer an expanded color space
on par with that established by the European
Broadcasting Union. The ColorManagement func-
tion, pioneered by EIZO, takes advantage of this
expansion to give the user independent adjustment
and control of hue, gain, saturation and color
temperature.
sRGB MODE
Compatibility with the international sRGB color
space enables color matching with applications and
peripherals like scanners, printers and digital cameras.
This ensures color consistency in daily office tasks as
well as in online shopping, since sRGB is also the
default color space for the Web.
IMAGE CLARITY
Wide viewing angles make sure that the on-screen
image remains bright and clear, with consistent color
levels, even when seen from an oblique position. Con-
trast and brightness settings are among the highest in
their respective classes, producing more distinct
images with sharper detail.
AUTO ADJUSTMENT
This feature automatically centers the displayed
image via a one-touch button on the front panel.
FREE MOUNT CAPABILITY
Compliance with VESA mounting
standards affords the user the
option of mounting on the wall
or an adjustable arm. Panel-
integrated power supply units
make installation easy, since
there is no separate power brick or cord.
LOW POWER CONSUMPTION
All models consume less than half the power required
by a CRT of comparable viewing size. Power saving
functions reduce consumption to less than 3 watts in
standby mode.
MODEL IDENTIFICATION
The ScreenManager®on-screen display
menu shows the model name, serial
number, and total usage hours.
SAFETY LOCK SUPPORT
All models include a slot for
connection of a security cable
(sold separately). The slot sup-
ports Kensington’s Microsaver®
security system.
INTERNATIONAL STANDARDS
The MultiEdge Series satisfies a wide range of cur-
rent industry standards relating to low emissions,
ergonomics, recycling, safe usage and power manage-
ment. These include TCO’99, TÜV/Ergonomics, the CE
Mark, Energy 2000, and the EPA Energy Star®Program.
PROTECTION SHEETS
Optional high-transparency sheets, available in three
sizes to match each model, protect the screen surface
from dust and scratches.
