AVS RM SERIES LCD MONITORS – INSTALL GUIDE

Thank you for choosing the AVS range of LCD monitors. Please ensure installation is carried out by a qualified technician.
All connections to 12/24v should be appropriately fused.
IMPORTANT: Where wiring diagram shows an ACC connection the wire MUST be connected to ACC do not connect to ignition or constant
12v.

YELLOW RCA
AV2 camera input
Reverse camera output. Monitor will auto switch to display this input when a signal is
detected e.g. when the car goes into reverse and powers on the camera. The display will
switch back to AV1 or turn off if there is no signal on AV1.
WHITE RCA (RM43)
AV1 camera input
Camera output. Monitor will display AV1 until a signal is detected on AV2.
YELLOW RCA (RM50SM)
AV1 camera input
Camera output. Monitor will display AV1 until a signal is detected on AV2.

FEMALE RCA

Adjust the screen brightness between 0-40 (default is 20)
CONTRAST
Adjust screen contrast between 0-40 (default is 20)
COLOUR
Adjust screen colour between 0-40 (default is 20)
PARKING LINE TYPE*
Choose between 1 of 10 patterns*
PARKING LINE X*
Adjust the left/right angle (0 = left, 40 = right, 20 = centre, default)*
PARKING LINE Y*
Adjust the up/down angle (0 = bottom, 40 = top, 5 = default)*

Camera output. Monitor will display V1 when manually turned on and V1 is selected /
will be over ridden by V2 if triggered.

AVS RM70CQUAD / RM90CQUAD
The AVS RM70CQUAD/RM90CQUAD can display up to 4 cameras in a split screen, either any channel full screen, 2/3/4-way split.
The channels can be switched manually using the buttons on the front panel or by remote or can be controlled by each channel’s input wire
e.g. connect the blue wire to the left turn indicator trigger wire and mount camera 3 on the left side of the vehicle. When the left indicator
turns on the monitor will display the left side camera. Do not connect any input control wire to permanent power as this will lock the
display to that channel and may damage the monitor.
