OVERVIEW
1. The Axesstel TX240G is a dual-band (800/1900Mhz) fixed ireless voice terminal that is
designed to provide a simple phone service at a home or business.
a. No Broadband or Internet connection required
2. Continue to use your favorite Verizon Wireless voice calling features like Caller ID, Call
Waiting and 3–Way Calling.
3. Its Assisted GPS feature provides E911 service to accurately determine the location of
the caller in case of an emergency.
4. Axesstel’s TX240G allo s the users to migrate from landline to ireless ithout losing
any functionality of their regular home phone service.
a. The Axesstel TX240G is compatible ith your existing cordless or corded
handsets.
5. Port your home number to Verizon Wireless or establish a ne line of service
a. Ports take bet een 3-10 business days to complete (does not include eekends)
b. Activate a ne line of service, and begin making and receiving calls immediately

NOTE: The Axesstel TX240G is not compatible ith home security systems, fax machines,
DVR services, credit card machines, or medical alert services (e.g. Life Alert).

Complete activation in eRoes (just like activating a cell phone). The Axesstel TX240G can be
activated on any consumer or business rate plan except for on Home Connect Plans.
etting Up The Axesstel TX240G
1. Remove the follo ing components from the box:
a. Fixed Wireless Terminal (#1)
b. Antenna (#2)
c. Po er Adapter (#3)
d. Battery Backup (#4)
e. Phone Cord (#7)
2. Insert the Battery Backup (#4) by removing the door on the back of the Fixed Wireless
Terminal (#1).
3. Connect the Antenna (#2) to the Fixed Wireless Terminal (#1)
4. Connect the Po er Adapter (#3) to the Fixed Wireless Terminal (#1); on the same side
here the antenna is located.
5. Plug the Phone Cord (#7) into one of the t o RJ-11 jacks located on the front of the
Fixed Wireless Terminal (#1)
6. No , Plug Phone Cord (#7) into the store phone by removing the store phone’s phone
cord from the back of the phone and inserting the phone cord plugged into the Axesstel
into its place.
7. Plug the Po er Adapter (#3) into an A/C outlet. Turn the Axesstel on (on/off s itch is on
the same side as the antenna)
8. Pick up store phone connected to the Axesstel. You should hear a dial tone. Dial *228.
9. Once programming is complete, hang up and make a test call.
10. Unplug the Axesstel from the A/C outlet and store phone. Sho the customer here
they ill plug it in at home. Then, ith it still put together, drop it into the customer’s bag.

Basic Installation
1. After the port is complete (3-10 business days), the customer ill then proceed to setup
the Axesstel at their home
a. The customer’s phones ill quit orking at their house hen port is complete
2. Plug the Axesstel Po er Adapter into an A/C outlet
3. Plug the phone cord into the main base of a cordless system or into a all jack in the
house (READ BELOW on ho to choose)
a. There are 2 different ays to set up the Axesstel, based on the type of phones
the customer has in the house:
b. Cordless Phones Only
i. Plug the Axesstel into the main base of the cordless system. It ill po er all
the handsets tied to that cordless system.
c. Corded or combination of both cordless & corded phones
i. Depending on their previous carrier, they ill disconnect the current coming
into the house one of these ays (Must Do this before plugging into all):
1. Traditional Carrier (like AT&T): Go outside to “Telephone Net ork
Interface” Box and unplug (see Useful Pics on pg. 7)
2. Cable Company (like Comcast): Go to either the cable box or modem,
and find the Embedded Multimedia Terminal Adapter (eMTA) (pic found
in Useful Pics & Info pg.7). Find phone the cord plugged into the eMTA
and disconnect it from the all.
ii. Use the Phone Line Tester (refer to #8 in package contents) to check for
current in the phone lines by plugging it into any jack in the house.
1. If Lights up “Green”, then there is still current running through the
phone lines. Go back and check hat you disconnected.
2. If it “Does Not Light Up”, then you are ready to plug the axesstel
into any jack in the house.
iii. Once current is disconnected, plug the Axesstel into any jack in the house.
iv. Pick up phone and dial *228 Option #1.
v. Test Call
vi. DONE!
NOTE: Al ays program your number into the customer’s cell phone. Example: Verizon-Irving
Rosa / 865-567-8586. The customer must call you and never call Verizon Customer Care for
service issues. Cellular Sales supports this product, not Verizon, so if you need help, call your
Cellular ales Axesstel Champion, Irving Rosa: (865)567-8586.

Most Common cenarios:
1. When I made a call, it asked me for a credit card.
a. The Device is not programmed
i. Solution: Dial *228 to program
2. I can make calls out but cannot receive them.
a. #1: The port may have not gone through yet.
i. Solution: Dial the number, and if you don’t get a VZW voicemail message, then the
port hasn’t gone through yet. Remember: it takes 3-10 business days (not
eekend days) for the port to go through.
b. #2: If plugged into the all, use the phone line tester and check all jack to see if there
is current that is interfering ith the Axesstel terminal.
i. Solution: Find current source and disconnect
3. I can’t make calls or receive calls. When you call it, it goes straight to VZW voicemail. When
I try to make a call, I get a fast tone/busy signal type of sound.
a. The port, or ne line, is hung up in VZW system
i. Solution: Do an ESN change to any cell phone. Program it and make test calls to
and from. Once successful, then do an ESN change back to the Axesstel. It should
then ork just fine.
4. My phones don’t ork.
a. #1: Could be any of the above
i. Check to see that the customer has connected everything correctly, check port
status, check esn on the device to make sure it matches.
b. #2: Axesstel could have frozen up (rare)
i. Solution: Turn OFF. Pull the backup battery from the back of the Axesstel and
disconnect from A/C outlet. Put battery back in, connect back to A/C outlet, and
turn the Axesstel ON. (This is like doing a battery-pull on a cell phone)

an Embedded Multimedia Terminal Adapter (eMTA), hich is a device similar to a cable modem
- but calls travel over a private, managed net ork instead of the public Internet.
