If your television has an RCA-type video input connector, you can
connect it to your OmniBook with the video cable adapter and
use your television as a display monitor.
You will also need an RCA patch cord (available at most
computer and electronics stores).
From the Start menu, shut down the OmniBook.
Connect the video cable adapter
to the OmniBook, as shown.
Connect an RCA patch cord to
the video cable adapter.
Connect the RCA patch cord to the video input
connector on your television.
Turn on the OmniBook.
From the Start menu, click Settings, Control Panel, Display.
If your television uses the PAL standard, you’ll need to change the
default BIOS setting from NTSC to PAL.
From the Start menu, shut down, then restart the OmniBook.
When you see the HP logo, press F2 to enter the BIOS Setup utility.
From the Main menu, select Television Type, then select PAL.

Anschluß des Videokabeladapters
Falls Ihr Fernseher über einen RCA-ähnlichen Verbundstecker für
den Videoeingang verfügt, können Sie das OmniBook über den
Videokabeladapter daran anschließen und Ihren Fernseher als
Monitor verwenden.
Dazu benötigen Sie außerdem ein RCA-Zwischenkabel (in den
meisten Computer- und Elektronikgeschäften erhältlich).
Schalten Sie das OmniBook über das Menü “Start” aus.
Schließen Sie den
Videokabeladapter an das
OmniBook an (siehe
Abbildung).
Stecken Sie ein RCA-
Zwischenkabel in den
Videokabeladapter.
Stecken Sie das RCA-Zwischenkabel in den
Videoeingangsstecker des Fernsehers.
Schalten Sie das OmniBook ein.
Klicken Sie im Menü “Start” auf “Einstellungen”, dann auf
“Systemsteuerung” und schließlich auf “Anzeige”.
Klicken Sie auf das Register “Einstellungen”, und wählen Sie dann
“TV”. (Sie können eine, zwei oder alle drei der folgenden Optionen
auswählen: CRT, TV, LCD).
NTSC- und PAL-TV-Systeme
Falls Ihr TV das PAL-System verwendet, müssen Sie die Standard-
BIOS-Einstellung “NTSC” auf “PAL” ändern.
Schalten Sie das OmniBook über das Menü “Start” aus, und
starten Sie es erneut.
Wenn das HP-Logo erscheint, drücken Sie die Taste F2, um das
BIOS-Setup-Programm aufzurufen.
Wählen Sie im Hauptmenü “Television Type” und dann “PAL”.
Drücken Sie die Taste F10, um die neue Einstellung zu speichern
und das Programm zu verlassen.

Conexión del adaptador del cable de video

video mixta del tipo RCA, puede conectarlo al OmniBook con el
adaptador de cable de video y utilizar el aparato de televisión

También necesitará un cordón de interconexión RCA (disponible
en la mayoría de las tiendas de computadoras y electrónica).
En el menú Inicio, desactive el OmniBook.
Conecte el adaptador del cable
de video al OmniBook, tal como

L’adaptateur de Câble Vidéo Videokabeladapter
Si le téléviseur présente un connecteur d’entrée vidéo composite
de type RCA, il peut être raccordé à l’OmniBook par l’intermédiaire
de l’adaptateur de câble vidéo et être utilisé en guise de moniteur.
Un cordon de raccordement RCA sera également nécessaire (en vente
dans la plupart des magasins d’informatique et d’électronique).
Arrêter l’OmniBook depuis le menu Démarrer.
Brancher l’adaptateur de câble
vidéo sur l’OmniBook, comme
indiqué ci-dessous.
Raccorder un cordon RCA à
l’adaptateur de câble vidéo.
Brancher le cordon RCA sur l’entrée vidéo du
téléviseur.
Mettre l’OmniBook sous tension.
Dans le menu Démarrer, sélectionner Paramètres, Panneau de
configuration, Affichage.
Cliquer sur l’onglet Paramètres puis choisir TV (sélectionner l’une
quelconque ou l’ensemble des options suivantes: CRT, TV, LCD).

Si le téléviseur fonctionne à la norme PAL, il est nécessaire de
remplacer le paramètre par défaut NTSC de la configuration BIOS
par PAL.
Arrêter l’OmniBook depuis le menu Démarrer puis le remettre
en marche.
A l’affichage du logo HP, appuyer sur F2 pour accéder à l’utilitaire
de configuration BIOS.
Depuis le menu Groupe principal, choisir Type de téléviseur puis
sélectionner PAL.
Appuyer sur F10 pour enregistrer et sortir de l’utilitaire.

Se la televisione dispone di un connettore per ingresso video
composito di tipo RCA, è possibile collegarlo all’OmniBook
mediante l’adattatore per cavo video e utilizzare la televisione
come un monitor.
È anche necessario un raccordo RCA (disponibile presso la maggior
parte dei negozi di computer e di elettronica).
Dal menu Avvio, spegnere l’OmniBook.
Collegare l’adattatore per cavo
video all’OmniBook, come
illustrato in figura.
Collegare il raccordo RCA
all’adattatore per cavo video.
Collegare il raccordo RCA al connettore per ingresso
video della televisione.
Accendere l’OmniBook.
Dal menu Avvio, fare clic su Impostazioni, Pannello di controllo,
Visualizza.
Fare clic sulla scheda Impostazioni, poi selezionare TV (è
possibile selezionare una o tutte le seguenti voci: CRT, TV, LCD).
Se la televisione in dotazione utilizza lo standard PAL, è necessario
cambiare l’impostazione BIOS predefinita da NTSC a PAL.
Dal menu Avvio, spegnere e poi riaccendere l’OmniBook.
Quando viene visualizzato l’emblema HP, premere F2 per
accedere all’utility di impostazione BIOS.
Dal menu Principale, selezionare Tipo di televisione, e poi
selezionare PAL.
Premere F10 per salvare e uscire.

välja ett eller flera av dessa alternativ: CRT, TV, LCD).
Om din tv använder PAL-standarden måste du ändra
standardinställningen NTSC till PAL i BIOS.
Välj att avsluta i menyn Start och starta sedan OmniBook igen.
När HP:s logotyp visas ska du trycka på F2 för att öppna
inställningsprogrammet för BIOS.
Välj Television Type (Typ av television) i huvudmenyn och välj
sedan PAL.
Tryck på F10 för att spara och avsluta.
