Before getting started
EBARman
Stylus pen
Power adaptor
Battery
CF open cover
Hand strip holder (option)
Ear/Microphone set
Sync cable
Turn on the Backup battery
Open the package and check every accessory:
Replace the battery
pack cover.
Connect power
adaptor to charge
the device.
Turn on battery.
Remove battery cover
and battery. Move upwards
the battery switch (see picture above)
to turn on battery.
If device wont be used for
a long time, turn off the
switch to save battery.

Device can read barcode from 40 to 300mm distance.

Barcode reading
1. Execute barcode application
2. Aim the scan window at the barcode
3. Press “R” or “L” scan key
4. Aim the laser beam at the center of the barcode
5. Check the barcode reading result

Connect the data sync cable.
If you use data sync cable, you need
to install Microsoft active sync 3.7 or above

Start - Programs - Communication
and run required application.

Point at icon in right bottom corner of screen
to switch between applications.
Use Date/Time Properties to adjust
time and date settings.
Use Input Panel to enter text with stylus pen.
Run My Computer to access your data.

Using Keypad
Press [KBD] + [number] to get special symbols
Press [KBD] + [TAB] to switch to alphabetic keyborad
then press again [KBD] + [TAB] to switch to Uppercase letters
and press [KBD] + [TAB] to return to numbers. See diagramm:
Press [Fn] + [number] to access special function keys:
[Fn] + [1] - Activate wireless network
[Fn] + [2] - Turn sound on/off
[Fn] + [3] - Backspace
[Fn] + [4] or [5] or [6] - Run programmed application
[Fn] + [7] - Copy
[Fn] + [8] - Paste
[Fn] + [9] - Rotate screen
[Fn] + [0] - Delete
[Fn] + [ . ] - Run Task Manager
[Fn] + [ENTER] - Screen calibration
