Product Overview:
This multi-functional high-tech product includes high-definition video recording,
photo-taking, sound recording and external SD card memory. It uses high-
performance, high compression ratio of H.264 video decoding technology, with
high-definition multimedia HDMI interface which can transmit high-quality and
uncompressed HD videos and multi-channel audio data. Mainly used in in-car
recording, capturing traffic evidences, travels, outdoor activities, and making life
more colorful.

Button Functions
Light Indicators:
Name Description
LED
indicator Red light indicator will turn off when unit is fully charged
Press OK to start recording. Press again to stop. LED continues to blink
when in recording mode.
Charging the battery:
1. Connect with car charger port. DVR can be charged directly even if power is o.

Menu button Enter and exit menu. In video recording mode, briefly press to lock/
unlock video files.

2. USB charging: Connect PC via USB cable. Will charge directly even if power is o.
1. Insert the memory card into the slot in the correct direction.
2. When removing the SD card, press the SD lightly. After card pops out, carefully
remove.
Insertion and removal of the TF memory card
1. After inserting the SD card it will become the default storage device. The original
data already in the memory card may not be readable again.
Notes:
2. If the memory card seems incompatible with the device, please insert again or
use other cards.
3. Please use a high-speed memory card - Class 6 & up.

User’s Guide
A) Power on/o
Lightly press power button to turn on or o.
B) Switching the operation mode
Lightly press “MODE” button to switch between modes:
recording mode, camera mode, playback mode.
These icons will display on the top left corner of screen.
How to enter into the system setting options
Press the MENU button twice to enter into the “System Settings” option.
Date/Time: Set the date and time;
Auto o: Set automatic shutdown time;
Beep sound: Turn on/o;
Language: Set the language;
Light Frequency: Set 50Hz/60Hz (Current Frequency)
TV Mode: NTSC/PAL;
Default: Return to factory settings;
Version: Software version number;
How to make recording and option settings
1. Recording
When the DVR enters into the recording mode, this icon appears on the
top left of the screen. Press the OK button to start recording. The red record-ing
indicator will flash. Press OK again to stop recording.

Photo and camera option settings
1. Turn the power on. The device will enter recording mode. Press and hold the
MENU button to switch camera mode. This icon will appear on the top
left of the unit.
2. Focus on the object to take photos. Adjust the zoom function via up/down but-
tons.
3. Press the OK button. Camera will start to take photos.
4. Self-snapshot function
In camera mode, press the MENU button to select photo mode. Press “Down”
button to select single shot, two seconds, ve seconds, ten seconds and
continuous.
5. Press the MENU button to enter into the photo settings: Capture mode, single
photo shot, self-snapshot, timing with (two sec./ve sec./ten sec.) and
continuous.
Resolution: 12M/10M/8M/5M/3M/1.3M
Quality: Super ne, ne and normal
Sharpness: Strong, normal and soft
White balance: Auto/daylight/cloudy/tungsten/uorescent
Colour: Normal/black-white/sepia

Playback Mode
1. In recording mode, press Menu button twice to select single le playback mode
and press the Up and Down button to browse photos and video information.
2. When this icon appears on the top left of the screen, les can play back.
Press OK button to play or pause. During playback, press up button to increase
The volume and down button to decrease the volume. Also, when this icon
appears on the top left of the screen, photo files can browse.
Press Up button and Down button to browse photos.

Information Backup
USB Backup Mode
Use a USB cable to connect with a PC. Press the power button to see the following
selection: Select “storage” and press OK button. Then, open the icon as
“My Computer” on the PC. A removable disk will appear on the PC. Find the les
from removable disk/DCIM document.
Remarks
1. Computer operating system: Above Windows 2000/XP/Vista/Windows 7,
MAC OS x 10.3.6
2. Select PC camera, to use as a webcam.
3. Device will power o when the USB cable is detached.
Connect to TV to display photos/videos
1. Connect HD TV via HDMI cable. It can play video or browse photos.
3. Delete:
In playback mode, press Menu button to see the delete and format options. Press
the Up/Down button to select the le to be deleted. Press OK button to “delete
the current le” and “delete all”. Then press OK button to select format options.
Press OK to enter formatting options, then press OK button format le and press
OK again to conrm format le.

Appendix Troubleshooting Guide
Operating Troubles Possible Causes
No power 1. Battery may be low.
Battery not charging 1. Please check if the charger is connecting correctly.
2. The battery may need replacing. Battery performance will
decrease after a few years.
Cannot record 1. SDCard is in the device.
2. If TF card cannot store video files, please format the TF
card from device itself and try again.
Blurry images 1. Lens may be dirty.
1. The USB cable may be incorrectlyconnected.
2. Wrong setting.
No images on TV 1. HDMI cable may not be connected securely.
System freezes 1. Pull out the battery. Press the reset button.
Cannot connect
to PC
