- Suffocation and Strangulation Hazard.
- Death or Serious Injury Can Occur.
- Infants who cannot get in and out of an adult bed without help can be trapped
between a mattress and a wall and suffocate.
- Never place infants in adult bed with or without a bed rail.
- When not correctly installed and maintained bed rail can trap young children
against mattress, headboard, or footboard.
- Use only for children who have outgrown a crib.
- NEVER use in place of crib.
- Use only with children who can get in and out of adult bed without help
(typically 2 years and up).
- ALWAYS keep bed rail pushed firmly against mattress and at least 9 in.
from headboard and footboard.
- NEVER use on toddler bed, Bunk bed, Water bed, or bed with inflatable
mattress.
- Use only on adult bed with mattress and mattress support as defined by
the manufacturer.
- Discontinue use if damaged, broken or if parts are missing.

Bed Rail Assembly and Set Up
Step 1 : Remove bed rail from packaging and set all parts out in front of you.
Step 2 : Start by inserting the one side of the Horizontal Support Tube into the
Left Receiver Assembly and then insert the opposite end of the tube into the
Right Receiver Assembly. It is important to make sure the spring button has a
secure engagement so that they cannot be pulled apart. (Diagram A1)
Step 3 : Next, install the straps for the Anchor parts. (Diagram B1)

Insert the end of the left mounting strap into the guide hole on the Left Receiver
Assembly. (Diagram B2)
Be sure that the locking tab is in the open position. (Diagram B3)

NOTE : Repeat process for right side of assembly.
IMPORTANT: Before stringing the strap through, make sure it is not twisted in
any way. It must be laying completely flat for proper adjustment.
Once the tab is in the open position, feed the end of the strap
through the locking tab. (Diagram B4)

Step 4 : With mattress removed from bed, place lower assembly on the box spring
or platform of the bed or crib. (Diagram C1) Make sure that the straps are not twisted
in any way so that the bed rail can be proper adjusted and tightened. Set the
mattress over the bed rail mounting assembly. (Diagram C2 and C3)

NOTE : If you are not able to tighten the mounting assembly enough,
be sure to re-check the straps to see that they are not twisted. Once you
have checked, flip the locking tab to the open position and give the
mounting strap a good pull to snug it up. Be sure to lock the tab again
by pressing it into the closed position.
Step 6 : Repeat the previous steps for the right side of the bed rail assembly.
Once mounted, the assembly should look like the photo below. (Diagram E1)
Step 5 : Proper tightening and adjustment- locate the locking tab on the Left
Receiver Assembly. Make sure it is in the open position. (Diagram D1) With tab in
the open position, pull the anchor strap until the bed rail mounting assembly is
tight up against the mattress. When the strap is snug, be sure to close the locking
tab to secure the strap. (Diagram D2)

Step 7 : Installing the Wooden Rail- Grab the bed rail at each end. Insert the plastic
tabs into the Left and Right Receivers until you hear a ‘click’ sound. (Diagram F1 and F2)
Make sure that the Wooden Rail is secure by pulling up on it.
The rail should not disengage from the mounting assembly.

Step 8 : Removing the Wooden Rail- Locate the release buttons on the sides of the
Left and Right Receivers on the mounting assembly. (Diagram G1)
Press the release button while pulling up on the Wooden Rail. (Diagram G2 and G3)
If you cannot release both sides at the same time, you will just need to
remove them one at a time.

Instalación y montaje de la barandilla de cama
Paso 1 : Retire la barandilla de cama de su empaque y coloque todas las piezas

Paso 4 : Con el colchón retirado de la cama, coloque el conjunto inferior en la base
del colchón o plataforma de la cama o cuna. (Diagrama C1) Cerciórese de que las tiras
no estén torcidas en modo alguno para poder ajustar y apretar correctamente la
barandilla de cama. Coloque el colchón sobre el conjunto de montaje de la
barandilla de cama. (Diagramas C2 y C3)

Paso 5 : Apriete y ajuste correctos - Ubique la lengüeta trabante en el conjunto del
receptor izquierdo. Cerciórese de que esté en posición abierta. (Diagrama D1)
Con la lengüeta en dicha posición, jale la tira de anclaje hasta que el conjunto de
montaje de la barandilla de cama quede apretado contra el colchón. Cuando la tira
quede ceñida, cerciórese de cerrar la lengüeta trabante a fin de fijar la tira.

NOTA : Si no puede apretar el conjunto de montaje lo suficiente, revise
nuevamente las tiras para cerciorarse de que no estén torcidas. Tras revisarlas,
coloque la lengüeta trabante en la posición abierta y jale firmemente la tira de
montaje para ajustarla. Cerciórese de trabar nuevamente la lengüeta presionándola
en su posición cerrada.
Paso 6 : Repita los pasos anteriores para el lado derecho del conjunto de la
barandilla de cama. Una vez montado, el conjunto debe lucir tal como aparece en

Instalación de la barandilla de madera
Paso 7 : Instalación de la barandilla de madera - Tome la barandilla de cama por
cada extremo. Introduzca las lengüetas plásticas en los receptores izquierdo y
derecho hasta que escuche un chasquido. (Diagramas F1 y F2)
Jale la barandilla hacia arriba para cerciorarse de que esté fija. La barandilla no debe
soltarse del conjunto de montaje.

Paso 8 : Retiro de la barandilla de madera - Ubique los botones de liberación en los
receptores izquierdo y derecho en el conjunto de montaje. (Diagrama G1)
Oprima el botón de liberación mientras levanta la barandilla de madera.

CARE AND MAINTENANCE
Periodically check the bed rail for signs of damage, wear and/or for missing
components. Do not use if any part is missing, worn or damaged. Check the bed
rail regularly to make sure all hardware and mountings are tight and secure.
Do not use abrasive cleaners or bleach when cleaning. Proper cleaning of bed rail
can be done by sponging it with warm water and mild detergent.
CUIDADO Y MANTENIMIENTO
Revise periódicamente la barandilla de cama por si presenta indicios de daño,
desgaste o por si le faltan componentes. No la use si le faltan piezas, está
desgastada o dañada. Revise regularmente la barandilla para cerciorarse de que los
herrajes y montantes estén apretados y fijos. No use limpiadores ni blanqueadores
abrasivos al limpiarla. La barandilla de cama puede limpiarse correctamente con
una esponja y una solución de agua tibia y detergente suave.
