3862 SANDFLEX®COMPENSATOR™
The “Compensator” is designed specifically to enhance the
performance of lighter duty machines with limited feed force.
Not only do the specially designed M42 teeth give a superb
surface finish, but the Compensator is also well known for it’s
long blade life, even in difficult-to-cut steels. The positive rake
angle ensures top performance especially for the cutting of
plate material.

3851 SANDFLEX®COBRA™
A truly versatile blade with a proven track record not only in
production cutting applications but also in a variety of multi-
purpose applications, the 3851 range excels in cutting pipes,
profiles, castings, small solids and bundles on horizontal machines.
Whilst performing best on machines of medium to heavy duty,
the range is also often used on vertical machines for contour
cutting. Using M42 tooth tips to provide heat and wear resistance,
the 3851 is well known for it’s long blade life.

3856 SANDFLEX®MULTI-CUT™
The 3856 Sandflex Multi-cut is a genuine multi-purpose bimetal
blade, designed to offer a versatile solution to a wide range of
cutting applications, including solids, pipes, casting materials,
profiles and the manual cutting of bundles.
The 3856 Multi-cut has been designed to cater for the increasingly
popular light duty manual and semi-automatic machines. The blade
design offers good resistance to tooth stripping on bundle and
structural steels, a long life and good surface finish.
The 3856 is available in 12 popular pre-welded loop lengths, with
a range of TPIs from 2/3 to 8/12. The 4/6 TPI is available with a
positive rake angle (LK) for the cutting of solids or for zero rake
angle (LZ) for the cutting of structurals and bundles.

3861 SANDFLEX®
The 3861 is especially targeted at vertical bandsaw machines and
for the contour cutting of non-ferrous materials such as aluminium
and brass as well as various steels.
It is also becoming an extremely popular alternative to Carbon
blades, offering:
•Greater versatility
•Improved heat tolerance
•Reduced cutting time
•Greater durability
•Reduced number of blade changes
•More accurate cuts over the life of the blade
•Reduced workplace noise
In short, the 3861 offers an extended blade life, lasting up to ten times
as long as carbon blades saving you money by giving a lower “cost
per cut”. Cutting quality and consistency are also greatly improved.
The 3861 is also popular in plastic and woodcutting applications,
where the aggressive hook tooth design and large gullet capacity
combined with the bimetal construction provide a high performance
cutting solution.
