Rugged flat panel workstation
VISTA 1000 is Barco’s modular, user-configurable flat panel-based
rugged workstation for use in a wide variety of Command and
Control applications. VISTA 1000 consists of an integrated Display
Head, Computing Enclosure and Operator Desk. The up/down-
ward tiltable operator desk can be equipped with a 10” flat
panel display with Touch Screen Input. The workstation is
engineered for application in a variety of hostile
environments and can be bulkhead or desktop-mounted.

Modular, user-configurable rugged workstation
VISTA 1000, Barco’s user-configurable
rugged workstation, has a light-
weight composite housing and
consists of an integrated Display
Head, Computing Enclosure and
Operator Desk. Customers can select
their preferred flat panel from
Barco’s full range and configure the
operator desk display for their
application.
Barco offers a qualified workstation
with a preselected set of computing
cards and mass storage devices.
Customers can also choose to inte-
grate their own cards and mass
storage devices, select indicators for
the front panel and even configure
the connector panel on the backside
of the rugged workstation. VISTA 1000
significantly reduces the design time,
resulting in a lower cost for both
system integrator and end-user.

The up/downward tiltable operator desk
of the workstation is designed for rapid
deployment. It only takes a few seconds
to unlock the desk and start using the
VISTA 1000.
The VISTA 1000 can be delivered packed
in a protective case so that the rugged
workstation arrives undamaged at its
destination.
