DC power supply, make sure it provides a minimum of 50W.
• Voltage: Before connecting this equipment to the mains power supply, make sure
your outlet voltage corresponds to the voltage stated on the appliance rating label
(230V/50-60Hz).
• Mains power connection: When connecting this equipment to the mains power
supply, only use the cord and plug supplied. Align the plug properly and insert it fully.
Do not overload the power outlet.

Run any cords so no one steps on or trips over them. Do not run the cord near heat-
producing appliances such as radiators or stoves.
• Disconnect: Switch OFF and unplug the unit when it is not going to be used for a
while. Grasp the plug, not the cord, when disconnecting.
Read this manual thoroughly before first use and keep it in a safe place for future
reference, along with the warranty card, purchase receipt and carton. The safety
precautions enclosed herein reduce the risk of fire, electric shock and injury when
correctly adhered to. Follow all instructions and take notice of all warnings to

Getting Started
Power Source
This system can be powered in three different ways:
(a) By connection to the mains power supply with the supplied power cord.
(b) Via the rechargeable 12V 4.5Ah built-in battery.
(c) Via an external DC power supply (not included).
AC Mode (mains power supply)
• Connect the power cable to the AC power input, then insert the plug into an
appropriate wall outlet.
• Set the AC POWER SWITCH to ON.
• Set the POWER SOURCE to AC mode. The system is now in operating mode and
will be powered by ~230V/50-60Hz.
DC Mode
• If the equipment is connected to the mains power supply, disconnect the power
cable.
• Set the AC POWER SWITCH to OFF.
• Set the POWER SOURCE to DC INPUT.
• External DC power supply
To power the unit via an external DC power supply, connect the external power
supply's positive pole to the red terminal and the negative pole to the black terminal.
The system will now be powered by the external DC power supply.
NOTE: The external DC power supply must be DC 12V-15V with a minimum output
power of 50W.
• Internal 12V 4.5Ah battery power supply
If no external power supply is connected, the system will automatically be powered
by the built-in 12V 4.5Ah battery when the power source is set to DC INPUT.
AC Power Switch
• Set to ON to use the equipment in AC mode, or to charge the built-in battery.
• Set to OFF to use the equipment in DC mode.
• To switch the system OFF, set the POWER SOURCE to AC mode and the AC POWER
SWITCH to OFF.

Charging the Battery
This DJ System is equipped with a built-in 12V 4.5Ah rechargeable battery. Before the
first three times that you are going to use the system, this battery should be charged for
a minimum of 12 hours. To charge, proceed as follows:
• Set the AC POWER SWITCH to ON.
• Set the POWER SOURCE to BATTERY CHARGE. The built-in battery will now be
charged from the mains power supply. A full charge takes about 12-14 hours at this
stage.
• When the battery is fully charged, set the AC POWER SWITCH to OFF and disconnect
the power supply.
Important Notes Concerning the Battery
• When the battery is low or has run out, it is important to extend the recharging
time to 24 hours. Recharging it for a shorter time may reduce the battery life, damage
the battery and cause the battery to never be fully charged, which will result in a
shorter time of operation.
• Do not open the cover to the battery housing. Only professional technicians should
open this system if the battery needs to be replaced. In such a case, contact our
after sales support centre for advice. Only a battery with the same specifications may
be used to power this equipment. An unsuitable battery may damage the system or
cause malfunction.
• Do not use this battery in other equipment.
• If you are not going to use this system for a long period of time, please recharge the
battery at least once every 3 months to avoid letting your battery sit dormant for a
long period of time and risk battery failure.

Repair and Refurbished
Goods or Parts Notice
Unfortunately, from time to time, faulty products are manufactured which need to
be returned to the supplier for repair.
Please be aware that if your product is capable of retaining user-generated data
(such as files stored on a computer hard drive, telephone numbers stored on

repair, some or all of your stored data may be lost. We recommend you save this
data elsewhere prior to sending the product for repair.
You should also be aware that rather than repairing goods, we may replace them
with refurbished goods of the same type or use refurbished parts in the repair
process.
Please be assured though, refurbished parts or replacements are only used
where they meet ALDI’s stringent quality specifications.
If at any time you feel your repair is being handled unsatisfactorily, you may
escalate your complaint. Please telephone us on 1300 886 649 or write to us at:
