Congratulations to the purchase of this Beamz controller. Please read this manual thoroughly prior to using the unit in
order to benefit fully from all features.
Read the manual prior to using the unit. Follow the instructions in order not to invalidate the warranty. Take all precautions
to avoid fire and/or electrical shock. Repairs must only be carried out by a qualified technician in order to avoid electrical
shock. Keep the manual for future reference.
- Prior to using the unit, please ask advice from a
specialist. When the unit is switched on for the first time,
some smell may occur. This is normal and will disappear
after a while.
- The unit contains voltage carrying parts. Therefore do
NOT open the housing.
- Do not place metal objects or pour liquids into the unit
This may cause electrical shock and malfunction.
- Do not place the unit near heat sources such as
radiators, etc. Do not place the unit on a vibrating
surface. Do not cover the ventilation holes.
- The unit is not suitable for continuous use.
- Be careful with the mains lead and do not damage it. A
faulty or damaged mains lead can cause electrical shock
and malfunction.
- When unplugging the unit from a mains outlet, always
pull the plug, never the lead.
- Do not plug or unplug the unit with wet hands.
- If the plug and/or the mains lead are damaged, they
need to be replaced by a qualified technician.
- If the unit is damaged to such an extent that internal
parts are visible, do NOT plug the unit into a mains outlet
and DO NOT switch the unit on. Contact your dealer. Do
NOT connect the unit to a rheostat or dimmer.
- To avoid fire and shock hazard, do not expose the unit to
rain and moisture.
- All repairs should be carried out by a qualified technician
only.
- Connect the unit to an earthed mains outlet
(220-240Vac/50Hz) protected by a 10-16A fuse.
- During a thunderstorm or if the unit will not be used for a
longer period of time, unplug it from the mains. The rule
is: Unplug it from the mains when not in use.
- If the unit has not been used for a longer period of time,
condensation may occur. Let the unit reach room
temperature before you switch it on. Never use the unit
in humid rooms or outdoors.
- During operation, the housing becomes very hot. Do not
touch it during operation and immediately after.
- To prevent accidents in companies, you must follow the
applicable guide lines and follow the instructions.
- Do not repeatedly switch the fixture on and off. This
shortens the life time.
- Keep the unit out of the reach of children. Do not leave
the unit unattended.
- Do not use cleaning sprays to clean switches. The
residues of these sprays cause deposits of dust and
grease. In case of malfunction, always seek advice from
a specialist.
- Only operate the unit with clean hands.
- Do not force the controls.
- If the unit has fallen, always have it checked by a
qualified technician before you switch the unit on again.
- Do not use chemicals to clean the unit. They damage the
varnish. Only clean the unit with a dry cloth.
- Keep away from electronic equipment that may cause
interference.
- Only use original spares for repairs, otherwise serious
damage and/or dangerous radiation may occur.
- Switch the unit off prior to unplugging it from the mains
and/or other equipment. Unplug all leads and cables
prior to moving the unit.
- Make sure that the mains lead cannot be damaged when
people walk on it. Check the mains lead before every
use for damages and faults!
- The mains voltage is 220-240Vac/50Hz. Check if power
outlet match. If you travel, make sure that the mains
voltage of the country is suitable for this unit.
- Keep the original packing material so that you can
transport the unit in safe conditions

Hartelijk dank voor de aanschaf van deze Beamz controller. Neemt U a.u.b. een paar momenten de tijd om deze
handleiding zorgvuldig te lezen, aangezien wij graag willen dat u onze producten snel en volledig gebruikt.
Lees deze handleiding eerst door alvorens het product te gebruiken. Volg de instructies op anders zou de garantie wel
eens kunnen vervallen. Neem ook altijd alle veiligheidsmaatregelen om brand en/of een elektrische schok te voorkomen.
Tevens is het ook raadzaam om reparaties / modificaties e.d. over te laten aan gekwalificeerd personeel om een
elektrische schok te voorkomen. Bewaar deze handleiding ook voor toekomstig gebruik.
- Bewaar de verpakking zodat u indien het apparaat defect
is, dit in de originele verpakking kunt opsturen om
beschadigingen te voorkomen.
- Voordat het apparaat in werking wordt gesteld, altijd eerst
een deskundige raadplegen. Bij het voor de eerste keer
inschakelen kan een bepaalde reuk optreden. Dit is
normaal en verdwijnt na een poos.
- In het apparaat bevinden zich onder spanning staande
onderdelen; open daarom NOOIT dit apparaat.
- Plaats geen metalen objecten en mors geen vloeistof in
het effect. Dit kan leiden tot elektrische schokken of
defecten.
- Toestel niet opstellen in de buurt van warmtebronnen zoals
radiatoren etc. en niet op een vibrerende onder- grond
plaatsen. Dek ventilatieopeningen nooit af.
- Het apparaat is niet geschikt voor continu gebruik.
- Wees voorzichtig met het netsnoer en beschadig deze niet.
Als het snoer kapot of beschadigd is, kan dit leiden tot
elektrische schokken of defecten.
- Als u de stekker uit het stopcontact neemt, trek dan niet
aan het snoer, maar aan de stekker.
- Om brand of elektrische schok te voorkomen, dient u dit
apparaat niet bloot te stellen aan regen of vocht.
- Verwijder of plaats een stekker nooit met natte handen
resp. uit en in het stopcontact.
- Indien zowel de stekker en/of netsnoer als snoeringang in
het apparaat beschadigd zijn dient dit door een vakman
hersteld te worden.
- Indien het apparaat zo beschadigd is dat inwendige
(onder)delen zichtbaar zijn mag de stekker NOOIT in het
stopcontact worden geplaatst en het apparaat NOOIT
worden ingeschakeld. Neem in dit geval contact op met de
dealer.
- Sluit het apparaat nooit op een dimmer aan.
- Reparatie aan het apparaat dient te geschieden door een
vakman of een deskundige.
- Sluit het apparaat alleen aan op een 220-240VAC / 50Hz
(geaard) stopcontact, verbonden met een 10-16A
meterkastgroep.
- Bij onweer altijd de stekker uit het stopcontact halen, zo
ook wanneer het apparaat voor een langere tijd niet
gebruikt wordt. Stelregel: Bij geen gebruik stekker
verwijderen.
- Als u het apparaat lang niet gebruikt heeft en het weer
wil gebruiken kan er condens ontstaan; laat het apparaat
eerst op kamertemperatuur komen alvorens het weer in
werking te stellen.
- Apparaat nooit in vochtige ruimten en buiten gebruiken.
- De behuizing wordt zeer warm, raak deze dan ook niet
aan bij gebruik en direct na gebruik..
- Om ongevallen in bedrijven te voorkomen moet rekening
worden gehouden met de daarvoor geldende richtlijnen
en moeten de aanwijzingen/waarschuwingen worden
gevolgd.
- Het apparaat buiten bereik van kinderen houden.
Bovendien mag het apparaat nooit onbeheerd gelaten
worden
- Gebruik geen schoonmaakspray om de schakelaars te
reinigen. Restanten van deze spray zorgen ervoor dat
smeer en stof ophopen. Raadpleeg bij storing te allen
tijde een deskundige.
- Zorg dat uw handen schoon zijn tijdens het gebruik.
- Gebruik geen overmatige kracht bij het bedienen van het
apparaat.
- Bij een ongeval met dit product altijd eerst een des-
kundige raadplegen alvorens opnieuw te gebruiken.
- Tracht het apparaat niet schoon te maken met
chemische oplossingen. Dit kan de lak beschadigen.
Gebruik een droge doek om schoon te maken.
- Blijf uit de buurt van elektronische apparatuur die
bromstoringen zouden kunnen veroorzaken.
- Bij reparatie dienen altijd originele onderdelen te worden
gebruikt om onherstelbare beschadigingen en/of
ontoelaatbare straling te voorkomen.
- Schakel eerst het toestel uit voordat u het netsnoer
verwijdert. Verwijder netsnoer en aansluitsnoeren
voordat u dit product gaat verplaatsen.
- Zorg ervoor dat het netsnoer niet beschadigd/defect kan
raken wanneer mensen erover heen lopen. Het netsnoer
vóór ieder gebruik controleren op breuken/defecten!
- In Nederland/België is de netspanning 220-240Vac/50Hz.
Indien u reist (en u neemt het apparaat mee) informeer
dan naar de netspanning in het land waar u verblijft.

Anleitung vollständig vor der ersten Inbetriebnahme durch. Befolgen Sie die Anweisung, da sonst jeglicher
Garantieanspruch verfällt. Treffen Sie stets alle Sicherheits-vorkehrungen um Feuer und/oder Stromschlag zu vermeiden.

- Bewahren Sie die Verpackung auf, um das Gerät im

- Bevor das Gerät in Betrieb genommen wird, muss es erst

Benutzung kann etwas Geruch auftreten. Das ist normal
und verschwindet nach einer Weile
- Das Gerät enthält unter Spannung stehende Teile. Daher
NIEMALS das Gehäuse öffnen.
- Keine Metallgegenstände oder Flüssigkeiten ins Gerät
dringen lassen. Sie können zu Stromschlag und Defekten
führen.
- Gerät nicht in der Nähe von Wärmequellen wie
Heizkörpern aufstellen. Nicht auf eine vibrierende
Oberfläche stellen. Niemals die Belüftungsschlitze
abdecken.
- Das Gerät ist nicht für Dauerbetrieb geeignet.
- Gehen Sie vorsichtig mit dem Netzkabel um und
beschädigen Sie es nicht. Eine beschädigte Netzschnur
kann zu Stromschlag und Defekten führen.
- Wenn Sie das Gerät vom Netz trennen, immer am Stecker
ziehen, niemals an der Schnur.

Gerät darf nicht an einen Dimmer angeschlossen werden.
- Reparaturen dürfen nur von einem Fachmann oder
Sachverständigen ausgeführt werden.
- Das Gerät nur an eine geerdete 10-16A Netzsteckdose mit
220-240V AC/50Hz Spannung anschließen.
- Bei Gewitter oder längerem Nichtgebrauch den
Netzstecker abziehen. Die Regel gilt: Bei Nichtgebrauch
Netzstecker abziehen.
- Wenn das Gerät längere Zeit nicht benutzt wurde, kann
sich Kondenswasser gebildet haben. Lassen Sie das
Gerät erst auf Zimmertemperatur kommen, bevor Sie es
einschalten. Das Gerät nicht in feuchten Räumen oder
im Freien benutzen.
- Das Gehäuse wird sehr warm. Während des Betriebs
und gleich danach nicht das Gehäuse anfassen.

Installation
Install the device on a horizontal surface or in a 19” equipment rack. The DMX-240 controller is provided with an
DC-adaptor. Plug the adapter into the DC input socket (34) of the device. Plug the adapter into the mains outlet
(230V, 50Hz)
Front
1. SCANNER buttons: Selects or deselects the desired scanner.
2. SCANNER indicator LEDs: When scanner is selected the associated LED is ON.
3. SCENE selection buttons: Activates the scenes in the selected scene bank
4. CHANNEL faders: Sets the DMX values. Channel 1 ~ 8 can be adjusted after pressing the respective
scanner button. Channel 9 ~ 16 can be adjusted after pressing the page selection button (10).

10. PAGE selection button: In manual mode, press this button to control channels 1 ~ 8 (page A) or channels 9 ~
16 (page B) or both pages by means of the fader.
11. PROGRAM button: Press for 3 sec. to enter programm mode. Programm indicator will flash.
12. MUSIC / BANK COPY button: Press to put the device in sound-control mode.
13. DISPLAY: Shows various information depending on operation being performed.
14. AUTO MODE indicator LEDs: Shows the status of Auto-Run.
15. BANK UP button: Select 1 of 30 scene banks (each bank can contain 8 scenes max.)
16. BANK DOWN button: Select 1 of 30 scene banks (each bank can contain 8 scenes max.)
17. TAP DISPLAY button:
TAP: Controls the speed of Auto-Run scenes and chasers. Press TAP several times at the speed you want the
scenes of chasers to be run. This is an alternative for the speed fader.
DISPLAY: Switch display to show DMX value (level 0 – 255 or 1% - 100%)
18. BLACKOUT button: Close the light output of all connected projectors via the shutter.
19. MIDI / REC button:
MIDI: Activates MIDI operation when pressed for 3 sec.
REC: Used in program mode for recording scenes of chases
20. ASSIGN LED
21. AUTO / DEL button
AUTO: Activates Auto-Run scenes and chases. When on, the Auto-Run LED is ON.
DEL: Used in program mode to delete scenes, chases and chase steps.
22. CHASER buttons (chaser 1 ~ chaser 6): Selects desired chase for activation or programming.
23. SPEED fader: Controls the speed when in Auto-Run mode (also used when assigning channel functions)
24. FADE TIME fader: Controls the fade time when in Auto-Run mode (also used when assigning channel functions)
25. FINE button: Enables finer control for PAN/TILT
26. PILE UP / CHASE LED
27A. PAN wheel: Controls left/right for assigned scanners
27B. TILT wheel: Controls up/down for assigned scanners
28. MODE button: Used with FINE button to set channel reverse and channel assign functions.

Setup
Sound Control
Sound control works through the built-in microphone or through the LINE IN socket. Connect the sound signal from a
mixer (e.g. MASTER 2) with the AUDIO input socket (29) on the rear panel.
DMX512 Connection
Only use a stereo shielded cable and 3-pin XLR plugs in order to connect the controller with the 1st scanner (effect)
and one scanner (effect) with another.
Adjust the XLR polarity via the DMX POLARITY selector (31).
A DMX signal terminator is recommended to avoid a bad signal caused by other electrical devices. A DMX terminator is a
XLR connector with a 120Ωresistor between pin 2 and pin 3 of the XLR connector. Connect it to the last OUTPUT socket
of the final scanner.
Scanner address
The DMX starting address should be assigned every 20 channels.
Address every projector to the respective starting address
otherwise the channel assignment will not be correct. Light effects
with the same starting address will work synchronous.

Channel Setting
This device can control up to 12 x 20-channel scanners. The first 8 channels of each scanner can be controlled
through the 8 faders. The next 8 channels are controlled through the 8 faders and the PAGE selection button (10) on
page B.
If the scanner features more than 16 channels, set the channels as follows:
• Press the PROGRAM button (11) until the LEDs blink.
• Press the FINE (25) and the MODE (28) buttons simultaneously until the ASSIGN LED (20) turns on.
• Select your scanner by pressing the corresponding SCANNER button (1).
• Adjust the SPEED fader (23) to select the scanner channel (e.g. channel 9 or 10).
• Adjust the FADE TIME fader (24) to select the respective control channel of the controller (e.g. PAN (27A) or TILT
(27B) wheel).
• To set channel 19 and 20, press the PAGE selection button (10). The PAGE B indicator LED (9) will light. Repeat the
two previous steps.
Example: Set the SPEED fader (23) to channel 9 and the TIME fader (24) to X. This means the 9th channel of the
scanner will be controlled by the PAN wheel (27A).
FADE TIME Assignment
With this function you can determine whether the fade time should be assigned to the pan/tilt movement or to all DMX
channels. This is useful when the mirror or the moving head movement should be carried out slowly but the gobos
and colours should be changed quickly.
• Turn of the device.
• Simultaneously press and hold the MODE (28) and the TAP DISPLAY button (17).
• Turn on the device. Press the TAP / DISPLAY button (17) in order to switch between the two modes (ALL CH for all
channels and ONLY X/Y for pan/tilt movement only).
• Simultaneously press and hold the MODE (28) and TAP / DISPLAY button (17) to memorise your settings. All LEDs
on the panel will flash indicating the setting has been saved.
Operation
Manual
To select the manual mode, press the AUTO / DEL button (21) until the MANUAL LED (14) lights.
In manual mode you can call up the connected scanners manually and control them through the faders. Note that the
settings cannot be memorized. Select the desired scanner using the corresponding SCANNER button (1). Adjust the
desired function through the faders.
• Checking a BANK / SCENE
Select the desired bank using the BANK buttons (16 and 17). Select the desired scene using the SCENE buttons (3).
• Checking a CHASER
Select the desired chaser using the CHASER buttons (22). Press TAP / DELAY (17). The display will show the steps
in the chaser. Press the BANK buttons (16 and 17) to see each scene.
• The PAGE selection button (10)
Use this button to adjust the channel faders (4) from CH1 ~ 8 (page A LED is lit) to CH9 ~ 16 (page B LED is lit) or
both of them (both LEDs are lit).
• The DISPLAY button (17)
Use this button to switch the display from a DMX value (0 ~ 255) to a percentage (0 ~ 100%).

DMX operation
A bank is a sequence of different scenes that will be called up one after another. With the DMX-240 controller you can
program up to 30 different banks, each bank containing up to 8 scenes.
Assigning a Jog Wheel to a Channel
o Choose your channel.
o Press MIDI / REC (19) to confirm.
Programming a Scene
o Press and hold the PROGRAM button (11) for 2 seconds to enter the programming mode. The PROGRAM LED will
flash.
o Select the desired scanner using the SCANNER selection buttons (1).
o Adjust the settings (the value will be shown in the display) using the respective CHANNEL faders (4).
o Press the MIDI / REC (19) to prepare saving mode.
o Select the desired bank (01 ~ 30) which will be saved through the BANK buttons (15 and 16).
o Press one of the SCENE buttons (3) in order to save the data. All LEDs on the panel will flash indicating the data is
saved.
o Select the next scanner using the SCANNER selection buttons (1) and repeat the steps above until programming is
finished or the maximum number of steps (8) has been reached.
o Press and hold the PROGRAM button (11) to exit the programming mode.
Running a Program
o Press the BANK buttons (15 and 16) and select the desired bank.
o Press the AUTO / DEL button (21). The auto LED will light.
o Adjust the speed using the SPEED fader (23) and the repetition rate using the FADE TIME fader (24).
o You can also adjust the speed by pressing the TAP button (17) twice. The time interval between two presses
determines the speed (up to 10 minutes).
Checking a Program
o Press and hold the PROGRAM button (11) and select the desired bank using the BANK buttons (15 and 16).
o Check every scene individually by pressing the respective SCENE button (3).
Editing a Program
o When programs have to be edited, it is necessary to modify a scene manually.
o Press and hold the PROGRAM button (11) to enter the programming mode.
o Select the program to be edited using the BANK buttons (15 and 16).
o Select the desired scanner using the SCANNER buttons (1).
o Adjust the desired settings using the respective CHANNEL faders (4).
o Press the MIDI / REC button (19) to prepare for saving.
o Select the desired scene using the SCENE button (3) and save.
Copying a Program
o Press and hold the PROGRAM button (11) to enter the programming mode.
o Select the desired bank using the BANK buttons (15 and 16).
o Press the MIDI / REC button (19) to prepare for copying.
o Select the target bank using the BANK buttons (15 and 16).
o Press the MUSIC / BANK COPY button (12) to copy the bank. All LEDs on the panel will flash.
CHASERS
A chaser is a sequence of different banks that will be called up one after another. With this DMX-240 controller you
can program up to 6 different chasers, each chaser up to 240 scenes.
Programming a Chaser
o Press and hold the PROGRAM button (11) to enter the programming mode.
o Select the desired chaser using the CHASER selection buttons (22).
o Select the desired program using the BANK buttons (15 and 16).
o Select the desired scene using the SCENE selection buttons (3).
o Press the MIDI / REC button (19).
o Program the next step until the chaser is finished or the maximum number of scenes (240) has been reached.
o Press and hold the PROGRAM button (11) to save the chaser.

Running a Chaser
o Press the respective CHASER buttons (22) and press the AUTO / DEL (21). Adjust the chaser speed by pressing
the TAP button (17) twice. The time interval between two presses determines the speed (up to 10 minutes).
o Press the MIDI / REC button (19) and select the desired record using the SCANNER selection buttons (1).
Checking a Chaser
o Press and hold the PROGRAM button (11) and select the desired chaser using the CHASER buttons (22).
o Press the DISPLAY button to switch the display to step mode. Check every scene individually by pressing the
respective BANK button (15 and 16).
Editing a Chaser
A. Copying a Bank into a Chaser
Press and hold the PROGRAM button (11) to enter the programming mode.
Select the desired chaser using the CHASER buttons (22). The respective LEDs will be lit.
Select the bank to be copied using the BANK buttons (15 and 16).
Press the MUSIC / BANK COPY button (12) to prepare for copying.
Press the MIDI / REC button (19) to copy the bank. All LEDs on the panel will flash.
B. Copying a Scene into a Chaser
Press and hold the PROGRAM button (11) to enter the programming mode.
Select the desired chaser using the CHASER buttons (22). The respective LEDs will be lit.
Select the bank in which the scene will be copied using the BANK buttons (15 and 16).
Select the scene you want to copy using the SCENE buttons (3).
Press the MIDI / REC button (19) to copy the scene. All LEDs on the panel will flash.
C. Inserting a Scene into a Chaser
Press and hold the PROGRAM button (11) to enter the programming mode.
Select the desired chaser in which the scene will be inserted using the CHASER buttons (22). The respective
LEDs will be lit.
Press the TAP / DISPLAY button (17) to switch to the step mode.
Select the scene where the new scene is to be inserted using the BANK buttons (15 and 16). Now, the
display will show the scene. If you want to insert scene between scene 5 and 6, press the BANK UP / DOWN
button (15 or 16) until the display shows STEP05.
Press the MIDI / REC button (19) to prepare for inserting. The display shows the next scene.
Select the bank where the scene is to be inserted using the BANK buttons (15 and 16).
Select the scene to be inserted using the SCENE buttons (3).
Press the MIDI / REC button (19) to insert the scene. All the LEDs on the panel will flash.
D. Deleting a Scene in a Chaser
Press and hold the PROGRAM button (11) to enter the programming mode.
Select the desired chaser in which the scene will be deleted using the CHASER buttons (22).
Press the TAP / DISPLAY button (17) to switch to the step mode.
Select the scene to be deleted using the BANK buttons (15 and 16).
Press the AUTO / DEL button (21) to delete the scene. All the LEDs on the panel will flash.
E. Deleting a Chaser
Press and hold the PROGRAM button (11) to enter the programming mode.
Select the desired chaser using the CHASER selection buttons (22).
Press and hold the AUTO / DEL button (21) and the respective CHASER button (22) to delete the chaser. All
the LEDs on the panel will flash.
F. Deleting all Chasers
CAUTION: When you select this function, all programmed chasers will irrevocably be lost. The
individual scenes and programs will still be maintained.
Switch off the device.
Press and hold the BANK DOWN button (16) and the AUTO / DEL button (21) while switching on the device.
All LEDs on the panel will flash.

Scenes
A. Inserting a Scene
Press and hold the PROGRAM button (11) to enter the programming mode.
Select the desired chaser using the CHASER buttons (22). The respective LEDs will be lit.
Press the TAP / DISPLAY button (17) to switch to the step mode. The display will show the scenes in the
chaser.
Select the scene where the new scene is to be inserted using the BANK buttons (15 and 16). If you want to
insert scene between scene 5 and 6, press the BANK UP / DOWN button (15 or 16) until the display shows
STEP05.
Press the MIDI / REC button (19) to prepare for inserting. The display shows the next scene.
Select the bank where the scene is to be inserted using the BANK buttons (15 and 16).
Select the scene to be inserted using the SCENE buttons (3).
Press the MIDI / REC button (19) to insert the scene. All the LEDs on the panel will flash.
B. Copying a Scene
Press and hold the PROGRAM button (11) to enter the programming mode.
Select the bank in which the scene will be copied using the BANK buttons (15 and 16).
Select the scene you want to copy using the SCENE buttons (3).
Press the MIDI / REC button (19) to prepare for copying.
Select the bank where you desire to copy the scene to using the BANK buttons (15 and 16).
Press the desired SCENE button (3). All LEDs on the panel will flash.
C. Deleting a Scene
Press and hold the PROGRAM button (11) to enter the programming mode.
Select the bank in which the scene will be deleted using the BANK buttons (15 and 16).
Press and hold the AUTO / DEL button (21).
Select the desired chaser using the CHASER selection buttons (21).
Press the SCENE button (3) corresponding to the scene to be deleted.
The scene has been deleted. All the LEDs on the panel will flash. All 240 DMX channels of the deleted
scenes will be set to 0.
D. Deleting all Scenes
CAUTION: When you select this function, all programmed scenes will irrevocably be lost.
Press and hold the PROGRAM button (11) and the BANK DOWN button (16) while disconnecting the device
from the mains.
Connect the device back to the mains.

Sound-controlled Mode
o Press the MUSIC / BANK COPY button (12). The LED will light. When the device receives a sound signal, it will
work in sound-controlled mode.
o Select the bank to be sound-controlled using the BANK buttons (15 and 16).
o You may adjust the fade time using the FADE TIME fader (24).
o Press a CHASER button (22). The chaser will be sound-controlled. You may press more than one chaser to run
them one by one.
o Adjust the duration time using the FADE TIME fader (24).
Auto Mode
o To select the auto mode, press the AUTO / DEL button (21) until the LED lights.
o If no CHASER buttons (22) are pressed, it will automatically run a bank. Select the desired bank using the BANK
buttons (15 and 16).
o Press a CHASER button (22). The DMX-240 controller will automatically run the chaser. You may press more than
one chaser and run them one by one.
o You may adjust the interval time between the scenes using the SPEED fader (23) and adjust the duration time using
the FADE TIME fader (24).
MIDI Operation
o Press and hold the MIDI / REC button (19) for about 2 seconds.
o Select the respective MIDI channel (1 ~ 20) using the BANK buttons (15 and 16).
o Press the MIDI / REC button (19) again to save the setting and to exit.
Send data : Turn the first (programmed) device off. Press and hold the scanner select buttons 2 and 3 and scene
button 1 together. Turn on de device again. The display shows TRANSMIT and data can be sent.
Receive data : Turn the second device (unprogrammed) off. Press and hold the scanner select buttons 8 and 9 and
scene button 2 together. Turn on de device again. The display shows RECEIVE and data can be received.
Transmit data: When both devices are ready press and hold the scanner select buttons 7 and 8 at the same time.
Data transfer begins between the 2 devices. When the transfer has finished the devices return to manual mode.

Cleaning and Maintenance
1. All screws should be tightened and free of corrosion.
2. The electric power supply cables must not show any damage. Have a qualified technician maintain the device.
3. Disconnect the device from the mains prior to maintenance activities.
4. Wipe the device regularly with a moist, lint-free cloth. Do not use alcohol or solvents.
5. There are no user-serviceable parts.
6. Contact your dealer for spare parts if necessary.
