This fitting instruction is exemplified by a a KEEP COOL®Curve 625 2500
mm glass cover, but is valid for all lengths of KEEP COOL®Curve and KEEP
COOL®Plane.
Installation dierences between KEEP COOL®Curve and KEEP COOL®Plane
will be evident from the fitting instruction.

PRODUCT INFORMATION
May be used as cover for commercial cooler or freezer
islands in sales departments, e.g. supermarkets.
Applicable for cooler and freezer islands (≥ - 24° C).
The environment must not exceed 23,9°C and 55% R.H.
If the cover is fitted on a freezer island, it is necessary to
perform technical adjustments (seperate instruction).
Expected life span of the system: 300.000 openings or 10 years.
The load limit must be respected – over-stacking will cause condensation.
Avoid placement of boxes on the glass.
SAFETY
Please read through the manual before mounting the product.
One glass can weigh up to 10 kg.
Do not carry a glass by the handle.
Wet or dewy glass can be slippery.
Use the cardboard packaging as protection on the floor in order
to avoid scratches/damages to the product.
BEFORE INSTALLATION
Remove all items that are in the way of the cover: price profiles,
shelves, night blinds, etc.
Clean the handrails thoroughly from grease, stains, etc.
Make sure the island and handrails are parallel and in level.

5. PREPARATION OF THE ISLAND
The handrail must be stable,
straight and in level before installation.
The handrail must be very clean
to gain optimum strength of tape.
Clean the handrail thoroughly.

Insert adapter in the assembly and attach with screw.

7.1 FITTING GABLES ON KEEP COOL®CURVE
Fit the gables.
If the island has an end unit it may be necessary to close
a gap between the end wall and the gable with a fill strip.

PLEASE NOTE: On KEEP COOL®Plane the end cross profile is part of the gable
profile. Consequently the MJ cross profiles and the MJ adapters are not fitted.
If the island has an end unit, it may be necessary to
close a gap between the gable and the end wall with a fill strip.

Close air gaps between the cover and the
island using additional layers of tape.
Align one side of the cover with the island.
Attach approx. 20 cm at each section end.

Adjust support legs until they are level. Start at the gables.
Insert sliding glasses in the corner of each section.

Adjust the frame until glass movement is satisfactory. Then tape
approx. 20 cm at each section end on the opposite side.
Attach with tape the remaining sides of the cover.

Insert the remaining sliding glasses.

The rubber sealing must

Insert and adjust all the top glasses in the top track.

The tracks must remain parallel.
Remove the tapen liner from top glass and attach.
Use cover plates if there is
a gap at the cover ends.

If glass movement is not optimum,
the glasses can be rearranged.
Glass movement can further be optimised by adjusting
the sides of the sliding shoes, using a smooth file.
