The new Flashing Siren “ FS Series” is born from the elegance and prestige that has always distinguished
BEINATS.r.l.
The siren is built in three models: FS230M - FS012M - FS024M. This device has the prerogative to signal, through
the audio group and of the flashing light incorporated, the presence of danger.
The sirens can have various supply:
FS230M; 230/240 VAC 50/60 Hz AC Supply
FS012M; 12 VDC Supply
FS024M; 24 VDC Supply
This device has 2 microswitch through which the user can select:
1) a flashing only device. With this feature the audio part is deactivated.
2) a timer to turn off the audio part in order to avoid noise pollution. While the audio is off the light flash will
continue until the alarm is active.
The external case is in ABS plastic with a IP54 protection.

ATTENTION!! Read the following instructions carefully before installing and keep this
booklet in a safe place for future reference.
In order to connect to the mains power, carefully follow the instructions and ensure the
voltage is correct.
CHECK the integrity of the siren after having removed it from the box.
Check that the data written on the box correspond to siren voltage used.
When doing the electrical connections, follow the drawing closely.
Any use of the siren for purposes otherthan the intended one is considered improper, and
as a result of which BEINAT S.r.l. therefore disclaims any responsibility for possible
damages caused to people, animals or objects.
Never clean the device with chemical products. If necessary, after having disconnected the power, wash with a moist
cloth.
Always entrust installation and maintenance of the devices to qualified and/or authorised technicians who, in cases
of failure, can guarantee use of original spare parts.
Do not allow it to become wet.
The device can be seriously damaged as it is not waterproof either when immersed in water or exposed to high levels
of humidity.
Do not drop it.
Heavy knocks or falls during transportation or installation can damage the appliance.
Avoid abrupttemperature fluctuations.
Sudden temperature variations can cause condensation and the device could work poorly.
Cleaning
Never clean the device with chemical products. If necessary, wash with a moist cloth.

Switch 1.
When the switch is in ON position the audio
section of the device is turned on.
The flashing function is active.
Switch 2.
When the switch is in ON position the internal
timer is enabled. The timer begin to count
when the siren is supplied and after 3 minutes
the audio section of the device is turned off.
The flashing feature will be active
independently of the switch position and last
until the supply is present.
Installation. Is reccomended to follow the electrical connection as per this instructions and in accordance
with local recommendations.
Install the siren in a dry wall and if is mounted to the outside, make the installation place covered from the
atmospheric events.
Once installed turn the power on only after selecting the working mode enabling or disabling the timer against
the acoustic pollution.
WARNING
Before connecting to the mains power, ensure the voltage is correct.
Carefully follow the instructions and the connections according to Regulations in force.
An automatic disconnetting switch (appropriately identified as the detector sectioning device) must be
incorporated in the electrical system, suitably located and easily accessible.

INSURANCE. This device is insured by the SOCIETÀ REALE MUTUA for the PRODUCT'S GENERAL LIABILITY
up to a maximum of 1,500,000.00 EURO against damages caused by the device in case of failures in functioning.
WARRANTY. The warranty term is 3 years from manufacturing date, in agreement with the following
conditions. The components acknowledged as faulty will be replaced free of charge, excluding the replacement
of plastic or aluminium cases, bags, packing, batteries and technical reports.
The device must arrive free of shipment charges to BEINAT S.r.l.
Defects caused by unauthorized personnel tampering, incorrect installation and negligence resulting from
phenomena outside normal functioning shall be excluded from the warranty.
BEINAT S.r.l. is not liable for possible damage, direct or indirect, to people, animals, or things; from product
faults and from its enforced suspension of use.
DISPOSAL OF OLD ELECTRICAL & ELECTRONIC EQUIPMENT.
