
The Moorsonne® in heat therapy
Indications: Wind, stomach aches
How to use: Remove the cushion from the textile cover. Do not heat the cover! Risk of fire!
1. Microwave: Remove the moor cushion from the textile cover and heat it in a microwave at 600 W for
approx. 45 seconds. If required, continue heating at 10 second intervals. Do not leave unattended while
heating!
Hot water: Remove the moor cushion from the textile cover and place it in a plastic bowl with hot (not
boiling) water (max. 80 °C) for approx. 1.5 minutes. Remove the moor cushion with a wooden or plastic
spoon without sharp edges. Dry the moor cushion thoroughly after removing.
Oven: Remove the moor cushion from the textile cover and place it on a plate that is suitable for oven use.
Heat the moor cushion in the oven without pre-heating at max. 120°C for approx. 10 minutes. If required,
continue heating at 1 minute intervals. Do not let the moor cushion come into contact with hot metal!
Do not leave unattended while heating!
2. Before use, insert the moor cushion into the textile cover and place it in the cot. Heat conveys a feeling
of comfort and well-being. Remove the moor cushion from the cot before putting the child to bed!
3. If your child is over 3 years old, you can also place the Moorsonne® e.g. on their tummy or at their feet.
The Moorsonne® in cold therapy
Indications: insect bites, sprains and contusions, slight fever
Remove the cushion from the textile cover. Do not place the textile cover into the refrigerator!
Pleas also note that the Moorsonne® must not be used any colder than refrigerator temperature!
1. Remove the moor cushion from the textile cover and place it in the refrigerator for at least 2 hours.
It can also be stored there permanently.
2. Insert the moor cushion into the textile cover before use.The cool Moorsonne® can provide relief e.g.
for insect bites, slight fever or contusions.
Always observe the instructions for care and use and retain these.

General information
Babies and small children are very sensitive to heat influence.Too much heat
can cause adverse health effects! Always check the heat level before giving the
Moorsonne® to your child! Do not exceed the temperatures – risk of fire!
Do not leave the moor cushion unattended while heating!
If the product becomes inflated, switch off the microwave or oven and check the moor cushion
for damage after it has cooled down. Overheating the cushion can result in cracks and leaks. Sharp or pointed
objects can cause damage to the moor cushion. Discontinue use if this occurs! Please check the moor cushion
for damage before each use.
Do not use if it leaks. We assume no liability for any consequential damage caused by the use of a damaged
moor cushion.
Contraindications
Do not use to cover wounds and do not use for persons who are sensitive to heat, in case of Raynaud
syndrome and arterial circulatory problems.The Moorsonne® should not be used after taking painkillers
and sedatives as these could reduce the perception of heat and cold.
Consult a physician before use. Prolonged use can lead to skin burns.
