Safety Instructions
•When using electrical appliances, basic safety precautions should always be
followed.

Thermal Cut-out Device
If the dust container and filters are not cleaned on a regular basis, the vacuum cleaner
may overheat, which will cause the thermal cut-out device to activate due to restricted
airflow. If the vacuum cleaner cuts out, press the power button to turn it off and unplug
it from the mains power supply. Proceed to empty the dust container, clean all of the
filters and allow the vacuum cleaner to cool for approx. 1 hour.
Care and Maintentance
Wipe the external surface of the vacuum cleaner with a soft, damp cloth and allow it to
dry thoroughly. Do not use any harsh or abrasive detergents or cleaning agents to clean
any part of the vacuum cleaner.
Clean the HEPA filter, exhaust filter and mesh filters after every removal of the dust
container. To clean the inside of the dust container, it is possible to remove the cyclonic
cone.

Dos and Don’ts
Do:
•Check that the filters are kept clear of obstruction.
•Make sure that the dust container and filters are cleaned regularly to preserve
suction and to prolong the life of the vacuum cleaner.
Don’t:
•Use the vacuum cleaner without the filters or dust container in position.
•Use the vacuum cleaner to pick up liquid, matches, cigarette ends, hot ashes or any
hot, burning or smoking objects.
•Empty the dust container indoors.
•Pull or lift the vacuum cleaner by its power supply cord.

Instructions for Use
Before First Use
Before using the vacuum cleaner for the first time, clean it with a soft, damp cloth and
dry thoroughly. Do not immerse the vacuum cleaner in water or any other liquid.
Assembling the Compact Vac Lite
Switch off and unplug the vacuum cleaner from the mains power supply before fitting
any accessories onto the air inlet.
STEP 1: Fit the dust container by pushing it into the main vacuum cleaner unit, aligning
the latch with the indent on the unit.
STEP 2: To attach the suction hose, pinch the suction hose lock and insert it into the air
inlet, ensuring that it locks into position.
Using the Telescopic Extension Tube
The floor brush and brush/crevice tool both fit onto the telescopic extension tube to
help reach into confined spaces, such as behind radiators or underneath car seats.
STEP 1: Fit the telescopic extension tube by pushing the large opening of the telescopic
extension tube over the end of the suction hose neck (1).
STEP 2: Push the chosen attachment onto the end of the telescopic extension tube (2).
STEP 3: Adjust the telescopic extension tube to the required length by pressing the
telescopic extension tube button down and sliding the inner tube in or out.
STEP 4: Release the telescopic extension tube button to lock the telescopic extension
tube into position at the selected length.

Using the Floor Brush
STEP 1: Push the floor brush onto the end of the telescopic extension tube or the
suction hose neck if the telescopic extension tube is not being used.
STEP 2: Select which position on the floor brush is required for the floor type by
pressing the switch forwards or backwards. Switching it forwards lifts the brushes for
use on carpet and switching it backwards lowers the brushes for cleaning hard floors.
STEP 3: Carefully pull out the power supply cord until it is at a suitable length. Do not
exceed the red mark. Plug it into the mains power supply.
STEP 4: Turn on the vacuum cleaner by pressing the power button; press the power
button again to switch off the vacuum cleaner.
Using the Brush/Crevice Tool
The crevice tool is ideal for removing dust and dirt from folds in fabrics, radiators,
corners, recesses and other places that are hard to reach. The brush tool is perfect for
cleaning shelves, cupboards and windowsills.
STEP 1: Push the brush/crevice tool onto the end of the telescopic extension tube or
the suction hose neck if the telescopic extension tube is not being used.
STEP 2: Select which attachment is to be used by rotating the head to either the crevice
or brush setting.
STEP 3: Turn on the vacuum cleaner by pressing the power button. Press the power
button again to switch off the vacuum cleaner.

After Use
STEP 1: Turn off the vacuum cleaner by pressing the power button.
STEP 2: Switch off and unplug the vacuum cleaner from the mains power supply.
STEP 3: Press and hold the cable rewind button until the power supply cord has
completely wound back into the cable drum.
Warning: Hold onto the plug to guide the power supply cord back into the vacuum
cleaner. Failure to do so may cause damage to the vacuum cleaner or injury.
Emptying the Dust Container
Before emptying the dust container, switch off and unplug the vacuum cleaner from the
mains power supply. It is recommended to empty the dust container outdoors.
STEP 1: Whilst securely holding the vacuum cleaner main unit, remove the dust
container by pushing the dust container release catch and pulling the dust container
away.
STEP 2: Holding the dust container over a bin or refuse bag, pull the dust container
base release clip to open the dust container. Empty the dust container slowly and
carefully to reduce the amount of dust released back into the atmosphere. Shake the
dust container gently to dislodge any remaining dust.
STEP 3: To close the dust container, push the base in until it closes and put the dust
container release catch back into position.
STEP 4: Replace the dust container by pushing it into the vacuum cleaner main unit and
aligning the latch with the indent.
Warning: Do not use the vacuum cleaner if the dust container is filled past the Max. fill
mark, as this could damage the unit or cause injury to the user.

Cleaning the Dust Container, HEPA Filter and Mesh Filter
The filters can only be accessed when the dust container has been removed. The
cyclonic cone can be removed from the dust container to make cleaning easier.
STEP 1: Empty the dust container following the instructions in the section titled
'Emptying the Dust Container".
STEP 2: Once the dust container is empty, close it.
STEP 3: Holding the handle, rotate the dust container cover in an anticlockwise
direction from the 'locked' position to the 'unlocked' position, and remove the dust
container cover.
STEP 4: Pull the HEPA filter away from the main unit and remove the mesh filter.
STEP 5: Shake off the HEPA filter and mesh filter until the majority of the dust has been
removed, then wash them with clean, warm water and allow to dry thoroughly.
STEP 6: Lift the cyclonic cone from the dust container. Wash the dust container and
cyclonic cone in clean, warm water and allow it to dry thoroughly.
STEP 7: Once all of the parts have dried fully, reinsert the cyclonic cone into the dust
container, aligning the slots on the unit. Place the cyclonic cone and slot the HEPA filter
back on top.
STEP 8: Replace the dust container cover and lock it back into place by rotating it in a
clockwise direction.
Note: If the dust container, cyclonic cone, HEPA filter and mesh filter are not cleaned
regularly, the thermal cut-out device will activate. For further details, see the section
titled 'Thermal Cut-Out Device'.
Warning: Do not clean the HEPA filter and mesh filter using detergent. Always allow the
HEPA filter and mesh filter to air dry, never use external heat sources, such as a radiator
to dry them. Do not wring or twist the mesh filter as this will cause damage.

Cleaning the Exhaust Filter and Mesh Filter
The exhaust filter is located behind the right wheel on the vacuum cleaner main unit.
STEP 1: To remove the exhaust filter and mesh filter for cleaning, rotate the removable
hub cap in an anticlockwise direction and pull it away from the wheel.
STEP 2: Remove the exhaust filter and mesh filter from the exhaust filter housing.
STEP 3: Shake off the exhaust filter and mesh filter until the majority of the dust has
been removed, then wash them under clean, warm water and allow to dry thoroughly.
STEP 4: Once the exhaust filter and mesh filter have dried fully, put them back into the
exhaust filter housing and replace the removable hub cap, locking it back into place by
rotating it in a clockwise direction.
Warning: Do not clean the exhaust filter and mesh filter using detergent. Always allow
the exhaust filter and mesh filter to air dry; never use external heat sources, such as a
radiator to dry them. Do not wring or twist the mesh filter as this will cause damage.
Storage
The floor brush can be positioned into the storage clip for easy storage. Check that the
vacuum cleaner is cool, clean and dry before storing in a clean, dry place.

Tepelné vypínací zařízení
Pokud nebudete pravidelně čistit nádobu na prach a filtry, může se vysavač přehřát, což
způsobí aktivaci tepelného vypínače v důsledku omezení proudění vzduchu. Pokud se
vysavač vypne, stisknutím vypínače jej vypněte a odpojte od elektrické sítě. Pokračujte ve
vyprazdňování nádoby na prach, očistěte všechny filtry a nechejte vysavač vychladnout
přibližně 1 hodinu.
Péče a údržba
Vnější povrch vysavače otřete měkkým vlhkým hadříkem a nechejte vysavač důkladně
uschnout. K čištění jakékoli části vysavače nepoužívejte drsné nebo abrazivní čisticí
prostředky.
Po každém vyjmutí prachové nádoby vyčistěte HEPA filtr, výfukový filtr a síťové filtry. K
čištění vnitřku nádoby na prach je možné odstranit cyklonový kužel.

Návod k použití
Před prvním použitím
Před prvním použitím vysavač očistěte měkkým vlhkým hadříkem a důkladně osušte.
Neponořujte vysavač do vody nebo jiné kapaliny.
Montáž
Vypněte a odpojte vysavač ze zásuvky před nasazením jakéhokoli příslušenství na přívod
vzduchu.
KROK 1: Nasaďte nádobu na prach zatlačením do hlavní jednotky vysavače a zarovnejte
západku se zarážkou na jednotce.
KROK 2: Chcete-li připojit sací hadici, sevřete zámek sací hadice a zasuňte ji do přívodu
vzduchu a zajistěte, aby zacvakla na místo.
Použití teleskopické prodlužovací trubice
Podlahový kartáč a nástavec na štěrbiny se vejdou na teleskopickou prodlužovací trubici,
aby vám pomohly dosáhnout do stísněných prostor, například za radiátory nebo pod
sedadla automobilu.
KROK 1: Namontujte teleskopickou prodlužovací trubici zatlačením na velký otvor
teleskopické prodlužovací trubice přes konec hrdla sací hadice (1).
KROK 2: Zatlačte vybrané příslušenství na konec teleskopické prodlužovací trubice (2).
KROK 3: Nastavte teleskopickou prodlužovací trubici na požadovanou délku stisknutím
tlačítka teleskopické prodlužovací trubice dolů a zasunutím vnitřní trubice dovnitř nebo
ven.
KROK 4: Uvolněte tlačítko teleskopické prodlužovací trubice a zajistěte ji ve zvolené
délce.

Používání podlahového kartáče
KROK 1: Pokud se teleskopická prodlužovací trubice nepoužívá, zatlačte podlahový
kartáč na konec teleskopické prodlužovací trubice nebo na hrdlo sací hadice.
KROK 2: Stisknutím přepínače dopředu nebo dozadu vyberte, která pozice na
podlahovém kartáči je pro typ podlahy požadována. Přepnutím dopředu spustíte
kartáče pro použití na koberce a přepnutím dozadu spustíte kartáče pro čištění tvrdých
podlah.
KROK 3: Opatrně vytáhněte napájecí kabel, dokud nebude mít vhodnou délku.
Nepřekračujte červenou značku. Zapojte jej do síťového napájení.
KROK 4: Zapněte vysavač stisknutím tlačítka napájení; dalším stisknutím tlačítka
napájení vysavač vypnete.
Používání nástavce na štěrbiny
Štěrbinový nástavec je ideální pro odstraňování prachu a nečistot ze záhybů látek,
radiátorů, rohů, výklenků a jiných těžko přístupných míst. Kartáčový nástavec je ideální
pro čištění polic, skříní a parapetů.
KROK 1: Pokud se teleskopická prodlužovací trubice nepoužívá, zatlačte štěrbinový
nástavec na konec teleskopické prodlužovací trubice nebo na hrdlo sací hadice.
KROK 2: Otočením hlavice do polohy jedné či druhé vyberte, který nástavec se má
použít.
KROK 3: Zapněte vysavač stisknutím tlačítka napájení. Dalším stisknutím tlačítka
napájení vysavač vypnete.

Po použití
KROK 1: Vypněte vysavač stisknutím tlačítka napájení.
KROK 2: Odpojte vysavač ze zásuvky.
KROK 3: Stiskněte a podržte tlačítko pro navíjení kabelu, dokud se napájecí kabel zcela
nezavine zpět do kabelového bubnu.
Varování: Držte zástrčku a veďte napájecí kabel zpět do vysavače. V opačném případě
může dojít k poškození vysavače nebo zranění.
Vyprázdnění nádoby na prach
Před vyprázdněním nádoby na prach vypněte a odpojte vysavač ze zásuvky. Doporučuje
se vyprázdnit nádobu na prach venku.
KROK 1: Zatímco bezpečně držíte hlavní jednotku vysavače, vyjměte nádobu na prach
zatlačením na uvolňovací západku nádoby na prach a nádobu na prach vytáhněte.
KROK 2: Uchopte nádobu na prach nad košem nebo sáčkem na odpad a zatažením za
uvolňovací sponu základny nádoby na prach ji otevřete. Nádobu na prach pomalu a
opatrně vyprazdňujte, abyste snížili množství uvolňovaného prachu do vzduchu.
Nádobu na prach jemně poklepejte, abyste uvolnili veškerý zbývající prach.
KROK 3: Chcete-li zavřít nádobu na prach, zatlačte základnu dovnitř, dokud se nezavře, a
vložte uvolňovací západku nádoby na prach zpět na své místo.
KROK 4: Vraťte nádobu na prach na místo zatlačením do hlavní jednotky vysavače a
zarovnejte západku se zarážkou.
Varování: Nepoužívejte vysavač, pokud je nádoba na prach naplněna nad Max. naplnění,
protože by to mohlo poškodit jednotku nebo způsobit zranění uživatele.

Čištění nádoby na prach, HEPA filtru a síťového filtru
K filtrům je přístup možný pouze po vyjmutí nádoby na prach. Cyklónový kužel lze z
nádoby na prach vyjmout, aby se usnadnilo čištění.
KROK 1: Vyprázdněte nádobu na prach podle pokynů v části s názvem „Vyprázdnění
nádoby na prach".
KROK 2: Jakmile je nádoba na prach prázdná, zavřete ji.
KROK 3: Uchopte rukojeť, otočte kryt nádoby na prach proti směru hodinových ručiček z
„uzamčené“ polohy do „odemčené“ polohy a sejměte její kryt.
KROK 4: Vytáhněte HEPA filtr z hlavní jednotky a vyjměte síťový filtr.
KROK 5: Poklepejte HEPA filtr a síťový filtr, dokud není odstraněna většina prachu, poté
je omyjte čistou teplou vodou a nechte důkladně uschnout.
KROK 6: Vyjměte cyklonový kužel z nádoby na prach. Umyjte nádobu na prach a
cyklonový kužel v čisté teplé vodě a nechte je důkladně uschnout.
KROK 7: Jakmile všechny části zcela uschnou, vložte cyklonový kužel do nádoby na prach
a zarovnejte drážky na jednotce. Umístěte cyklonový kužel a zasuňte HEPA filtr zpět
nahoru.
KROK 8: Nasaďte zpět kryt nádoby na prach a zajistěte jej zpět na místo otočením ve
směru hodinových ručiček.
Poznámka: Pokud nádoba na prach, cyklonový kužel, HEPA filtr a síťový filtr nejsou
pravidelně čištěny, aktivuje se tepelné vypínací zařízení. Další podrobnosti najdete v části
s názvem „Tepelné vypínací zařízení“.
Varování: Nečistěte HEPA filtr a síťový filtr žádným čisticím prostředkem. HEPA filtr a
síťový filtr vždy nechejte uschnout na vzduchu, nikdy k jejich sušení nepoužívejte externí
zdroje tepla, například radiátor. Síťový filtr nemačkejte ani neotáčejte, mohlo by dojít k
poškození.

Čištění výfukového filtru a síťového filtru
Výfukový filtr je umístěn za pravým kolem hlavní jednotky vysavače.
KROK 1: Pro vyjmutí výfukového filtru a síťového filtru za účelem čištění otočte
odnímatelným krytem proti směru hodinových ručiček a vytáhněte jej z kola.
KROK 2: Vyjměte výfukový filtr a síťový filtr z tělesa výfukového filtru.
KROK 3: Poklepejte výfukový filtr a síťový filtr, dokud není odstraněna většina prachu,
poté je umyjte pod čistou teplou vodou a nechte důkladně uschnout.
KROK 4: Po úplném uschnutí výfukového filtru a síťového filtru je vložte zpět do pouzdra
výfukového filtru a nasaďte odnímatelný kryt a zajistěte jej zpět na místo otočením ve
směru hodinových ručiček.
Varování: Nečistěte výfukový filtr a sítkový filtr žádným čisticím prostředkem. Výfukový
filtr a síťový filtr vždy nechejte uschnout na vzduchu; k jejich sušení nikdy nepoužívejte
externí zdroje tepla, jako je radiátor. Síťový filtr nemačkejte ani neotáčejte, mohlo by
dojít k poškození.
Uskladnění
Podlahový kartáč lze umístit do úložné spony pro snadné skladování. Před uskladněním
na čistém a suchém místě zkontrolujte, zda je vysavač vychladlý, čistý a suchý.
