BesTrans DVI Active Optical Cable (AOC) is an easy-to-use, secure connection for
home video distribution, conference room presentation systems, classroom
projection systems, digital signage, Control room and command center
distribution or video wall application. BesTrans DVI Active Optical Cable (AOC)
supports high definition connection between your Blu-ray, DVD, game console,
computer, professional video and HDTV.
Fiber optics provides the speed and bandwidth needed for the best video and/ or audio quality for high definition
at lengths up to 100 meters or 328 feet (Customized length above 100m); supporting the long distances required in
commercial video solutions. No extenders, baluns or amplifiers are needed and BesTrans fiber optic cables are EMI
free allowing them to be installed with multiple cable pulls, providing the flexibility for remote component locations.
Supporting up to 1080P60Hz performance up to 100 meters or 984 feet, BesTrans cables are plenum rated and do
not require time consuming fiber terminations.
BesTrans compact DVI Active Optical Cable (AOC) is thin, durable and pre-terminated with DVI connectors, which
eliminate the need for time-consuming fiber terminations and the need for costly fiber optic tools.

Note:
1. The external power supply is optional (USB to DC2.0) for project having power issue at the Rx side. Please make
sure your Display device DVI male port can provide 5V electricity to power the AOC. Otherwise, please insert the
USB to DC2.0 power cord as external power supply.

DVI AOC (Active Optical Cable) is a kind of cable that adopts fiber optical cable to transmit the video/audio instead
of copper cable, and the DVI connectors can used directly as copper cable. The DVI AOC is a transmission and
converter system with DVI-Fiber-DVI structure to transmit up to FULL HD signal without EMI. The AOC is perfect and
cost effective solution to replace typical copper cable or normal TX/RX extenders.
2. What is the maximum distance by the single BesTrans DVI AOC cable?
The maximum distance is 100 meters or 328 ft (100-300m customized.).
3. What difference between DVI AOC and the typical DVI cable in terms of the distance?
The maximum distance of the typical DVI cable is no more than 15 to 20 meters and it depends on the quality
seriously.
4. How much the bandwidth of the DVI AOC?
Bandwidth is 10.2Gbps.
5. Is there any EMI?

The minimum bending radius is 20D (Dynamic) or 10D (Static).
9. I always use DVI over Cat6 solution as long distance transmission, so what advantages of BesTrans AOC
compared with this?
Normally the DVI over Cat6 solution needs configured with more than 10x pcs products like TX, RX, 100m Cat6 cable,
power supply, 100m power cord and power sockets. Any failure of each part will be disaster for your system.
Compared with DVI over Cat6 solution, BesTrans solution only needs one piece of cable with plug and play feature.
It is easier to install and maintenance.
