Unpacking & Contents Inspection
Carefully remove all the components from the
box. Please check all items against the list below.
Any damage or missing components should be
reported to Evadale Healthcare.

SET-UP AND OPERATION
This versatile portable clothes line is
easy to use and can be folded up and
transported with laundry still intact.
Each side collapses inwards for convenient
transport and storage. All four legs fold
down for compact and convenient storage.
Leg frames lock into the frame for secure
attachment when folded.
This weather-resistant line is ideal for use
indoors, outdoors, or place over the bathtub.
Wall mounting bracket provided.
Please read all instructions prior to use.
We recommend you keep this Guide for future reference.
Do not use product outside during a storm or high wind.

To mount
To hang the Compact Line on a wall,
use the mounting bracket provided.
Bracket must be mounted at least
1250 mm from the floor to allow
sucient clear space to hang the line.
Attach the bracket to the wall using
the fixture appropriate for your wall
surface.
Ensure the bracket is secure before
hanging the line.
To use in bath
To use over the bath, simply unfold one side of the
frame only and then place the Compact Line into
the bath and lean against the wall.
To fold
Tofoldthe CompactLine, swing eachside ofthe
framesidewaysto collapseagainst themain bar.

To fold the legs, press firmly against the orange
tab at the top of each leg to release the lock and
then fold leg upwards. Repeat for all four legs.
Do not use force – the frame should be easy to
push inwards otherwise the folding direction
is wrong.
To unfold the line, simply pull outwards on
each sideof thelight metalframe and swing
sideways until fully extended.
Load laundry evenly.

To unfold legs, hold the Compact Line
upright with one hand, and with the
other hand gently pull each leg
upwards until it locks into place.
Once all four legs are secure,
stand the product upright on a
stable surface.

Australian Consumer Law
Our goods come with guarantees that cannot be
excluded under the Australian Consumer Law. You
are entitled to a replacement or may be entitled to
a refund for a major failure and compensation for
any other reasonably foreseeable loss or damage.
You are also entitled to have the goods repaired or
replaced if the goods fail to be acceptable quality
and the failure does not amount to a major failure.
Where a failure does not amount to a major failure
Novis is entitled to choose between providing
you with a repair, replacement or refund. To
obtain compensation, you would need to provide
documentary evidence of the loss or damage
suered and documentary evidence that such
loss or damage was a reasonably foreseeable
consequence of a failure by Novis to comply
with a consumer guarantee under the Australian
Consumer Law.
Product Warranty
In addition to all rights and remedies which you
may be entitled to under the Competition and
Consumer Act 2010 (Commonwealth) and any
other relevant legislation, Evadale warrants each
of its products to be free of defects in materials
and workmanship for a period of 12 months,
commencing from the date of purchase.
Warranty Claims
To claim under this warranty, please contact
Evadale Customer Service Centre and have your
receipt or proof of purchase ready. Evadale may
need to assess the defect before determining
any claim, and additional information may be
requested to process your claim.
Any expenses incurred relating to the return of
the defective product to Evadale will be borne by
you. We will then, at our discretion, either repair
or replace the product, or refund your money and
take back the product.
Limited Liabilities
Our liability under this manufacturer’s warranty
is subject to us being satisfied that a defect was
caused by a defective workmanship or materials,
and was not caused or substantially contributed
to by other factors or circumstances beyond our
control, including (but not limited to) defective
installation, maintenance or repair, product
modification or alteration, any neglect misuse or
excessive use, normal wear and tear or failure to
follow manufacturer’s instructions.
The benefits conferred by this manufacturers
warranty are in addition to all rights and remedies
conveyed by the Competition and Consumer Act
2010 (Commonwealth), and any other statutory
rights to which you may already be entitled, and
this warranty does not exclude, restrict or modify
anysuch rightsor remediesthat areimpliedbylaw.

Care Instructions
To clean
To clean the Compact Line, gently wipe the frame
and lines with a damp cloth, or spray gently with a
garden hose.
Do not clean with sharp or rough objects or
with aggressive detergents.
Dry thoroughly before use.
Re-tensioning lines
To re-tension, press down on the outer line while
pulling on the line beside it. Move inwards one line
and repeat this process until all slack is held in the
innermost line.

Holding the innermost line tight, release the line
from the clamp (outer frame) and pull the slack
through until firm.
Reconnect the line to the clamp. Cut o any excess
line as needed. Repeat this process on both sides.
