R-17i
The Radia R-17i from BG is an innovative high-performance on-wall loudspeaker
featuring the company’s patented planar ribbon technology. An elegant two-way design,
this LCR utilizes twin 4”woofers, two 4” passive radiators and a Neo3PDR planar ribbon
tweeter. The R-17i is easy to drive and compatible with any high-quality amplifier or a/v
receiver.
With its wide horizontal dispersion and flexible placement, the R-17i is ideally suited for
LCR applications in home theater or to simply complement flat on-wall TVs. This stylish
loudspeaker is capable of providing incredible detail, solid imaging and high-level
dynamics, producing sound with stunning realism. The R-17i delivers excellent
performance while eliminating the clutter of a freestanding speaker or the
expense and commitment of an in-wall.
The wide horizontal dispersion pattern creates a large“sweet spot” for flexible
placement of the speaker as well as the listener. Rather than a limited location for
an audience of one or two, a larger sweet spot allows a group of listeners to enjoy
the planar ribbon’s precise imaging with exceptional detail.

The R-17i is easy to mount and install. The rear of the
enclosure features a“keyhole”mounting plate and comes
supplied with a versatile wall bracket for horizontal or vertical
mounting. In addition, the ribbon tweeter can be rotated,
allowing for either horizontal or vertical use for a wide variety
of home theater arrangements.
The critically-acclaimed R-17i combines a symmetrical array
