LED Walk/Don’t Walk Clock
•Three LED Brightness Settings (Low, Standard, High)
•24Hr and 12Hr Clock Modes (12Hr is Standard)
•Power Backup Circuit 7 days (Keeps correct time without AC power
for up to 7 days)
The LED Walk/Don’t Walk Clock is a 12/24Hr Clock which uses the
same size and specification indicators as a street crossing
indicator. The clock uses the ‘Walk Time Remaining’ count-down
timer to display the hours and minutes of the clock (Hours and
Minutes alternate every two seconds). The Walking Man and Hand
indicator is used in lieu of the second hand on the clock. The
seconds can be broken down by: Walking Man - 0-20 seconds of the
minute, flashing Hand 21-40 seconds, and solid Hand 41-59
seconds of the minute. The clock also features an auxiliary
power circuit to keep accurate time when the clock is
disconnected from AC power, this allows for the clock to be
plugged into a switched outlet and not have to be set on power
up. This auxiliary power circuit never needs a battery and keeps
time for 7-10 days.

Plugging in the Clock
Use the provided AC/DC adapter to connect the device to AC
power. The plug connects to the device on the bottom of the
clock, under the hours and minutes display. The connector is a
round barrel plug.
NOTE: Only use the provided AC/DC adapter, using a different
adapter could damage the device or cause the device to
malfunction.
Setting the Time
•Press the Hour button (Left of the two buttons) to increment
the hours of the clock. Holding the hours button will increment
hours as long as the button is pressed. *Holding the hours
button down for more than 40 hour increments will change the
12Hr/24Hr setting.
•Press the Minute button (Right of the two buttons) to increment
the minutes of the clock. Holding the minute button will
increment the minutes as long as the button is pressed.
Changing the LED Intensity Level
•Press and both the hour and minute buttons simultaneously. The
two segments will display: (Lo - Low Intensity Setting), (St -
Standard Intensity Setting), or (Hi - High Intensity Setting).
•The new intensity setting will display for a few seconds, then
go back to the normal clock more.
•NOTE: During an intensity setting change, the LEDs will be at
High intensity, to assist in seeing the new setting in all

environments. After the clock resumes the normal clock mode,
the new brightness will take effect.
Changing the 12Hr / 24Hr Setting
•Press and hold the hour button (Left of the two buttons) for
over 40 hour increments. The button must be continuously held
in order for 40 hours to ‘Roll’ past the clock. The clock time
segments will then display ‘H2’ for a 12Hr clock setting, or
‘H4’ for a 24Hr clock setting. This process will toggle between
the two time settings.
CAUTION Do not operate the BT-2072 in a manner not specified in
this document. Product misuse can result in hazard or unsafe
conditions.
Physical Care
If you need to clean the clock, wipe it with a moist and dry
cotton cloth with AC power DISCONNECTED. Do not try to clean the
circuit board with any sort of water or alcohol based products.
