•This device is intended for indoor use only.
•Do not expose this device to water or moisture of any kind.

immediately remove it from its power source and allow it
to fully dry before reapplying power.

•Prior to operation, check the unit and power cord for
physical damage. Do not use if physical damage has
occurred.
•Before plugging the unit into a power outlet, ensure that
the outlet provides the same type and level of power

•Unplug this device from the power source when not in use.
•Take care to prevent damage to the power cord. Do not
allow it to become crimped, pinched, walked on, or
become tangled with other cords. Ensure that the power
cord does not present a tripping hazard.
•Never unplug the unit by pulling on the power cord.
Always grasp the connector head or adapter body.
•Ensure that power is turned off and disconnected before
making any electrical connections.
•Remove the batteries from the controller if it will go
unused for a lengthy period of time.
•Clean using a soft, dry cloth only. Do not use chemical
cleaners, solvents, or detergents. For stubborn deposits,
moisten the cloth with warm water.
•This device has no user serviceable parts. Do not attempt
to open, service, or modify this device.

INTRODUCTION
This H.265 HDMI® over IP KVM Extender allows you to extend an
HDMI audio/video, USB data, and IR control signals to distances
up to 492 feet (150 meters) over a single Cat5e/6 Ethernet cable.
It complies with the HDMI 1.4, HDCP™ 1.4, and USB 1.1 standards. It
supports video resolutions up to 1920x1200@60Hz with YCbCr
4:4:4 color space. It uses standard H.265 video compression,
supports up to 6.75 Gbps video bandwidth, and supports one-
way transmission of IR control signals.
The kit includes an encoder and a decoder and can be used in a
one-to-one configuration, but it also supports the use of a
Gigabit Ethernet switch, allowing the encoded signals to be
transmitted to multiple decoders for whole home video
distribution.

PRODUCT OVERVIEW
Encoder
1. DC 5V: DC barrel connector for connecting the included AC
power adapter.
2. LAN: RJ45 jack for connecting a Cat5e/Cat6 Ethernet cable
(not included) to the decoder.
3. IR OUT: 3.5mm jack for connecting the included IR
transmitter.
4. HDMI IN: HDMI® port for connecting the video output from
a computer or other video source device.
5. PC: USB Type-B jack for connecting a USB cable (not
included) to your PC.
6. DATA: The LED flashes orange when data is being
transmitted.
7. POWER: The LED illuminates green when power is applied.
