Pre-Flight Check
1. Check for any broken or damaged parts on main wing, fuselage or tail.
2. Check the fan, adapter and all screws are securely fastened.
3. Always check there are no other pilots using the same frequency (band) in the same area.
4. Securely fasten the main wing.
5. Make sure the power switch on the plane is OFF before connecting the battery. Make sure
you stay clear of the fan.
6. Switch the transmitter ON, then switch the receiver ON.
7. In case motor starts rotating accidentally, have an assistant hold the fuselage of the plane
securely.
8. Check that the plane responds properly to control signals.
9. Test the range of the radio signal. Step back about 65 feet (20m) and check for interference.
10. Check the plane control surfaces if functioning properly.
11. Make sure retract air tank fill pressure to no more than 100 PSI.
FAQ:
Q: Why are my retracts lowering in the DOWN position by itself after only 1 minute into my flight?
A: There is a slow leak in the air hose lines. Pump 80 PSi into the holding tank and go to a quiet room to
determine if you can hear an air leak. If you can not, you will need to apply drops of soapy water to each of
the joints where the air line meets a connector.
Q: What do I do if my "Check Valve" is leaking air?
A: Put one drop of bearing oil into the check valve and use a tooth pick to press the Check Valve Flap open
and let it spring close. Press the flap a few times to lubricate the valve.
Q: Why is my retracts not functioning when it is filled with air?
A: Air Pressure is too low. Fill to 100PSi minimum.
Q: Why are my retracts not functioning when my air tank has 100PSi of air?
A: Check the servo with the pushrod attached controlling the Air Solenoid. Make sure the servo is moving
and the solenoid is sliding. If not, put a couple of drops of oil on the cylinder slide on the solenoid.
