Blue Seal RB900 - 900mm wide Refrigeration Base.
Blue Seal RB1200 - 1200mm wide Refrigeration Base.
General
A commercial heavy duty refrigeration base which can be used in conjunction with the Target Top, Cook
Top and Dedicated Griddle appliances. It utilises an electronic microprocessor based control panel which
allows variable programming of the various configuration parameters and defrost cycles.
- XR02CX Controller
The Model XR02CX Controller is a digital thermostat with off cycle defrost designed for refrigeration
applications at normal temperature. It provides a relay output to drive the compressor. It is also provided
with 1 NTC probe input and one configurable digital input. The instrument is fully configurable through
special parameters that can be easily programmed through the keyboard.
The main functions of the Controller are:-
Temperature display.
Temperature control.
Manual / Automatic defrost.
Value storing.
Self testing.
Parameter locking.
The controller is fully configurable through special parameters that can be easily programmed through the
control panel keypad.
This appliance can operate in the following conditions;-
Temp. amb +40°C ± 1°C relative humidity 55%.
Optimum operational ambient temperatures are between +0°C / + 60°C with a relative
humidity of 20/85% (Non Condensing).
-2°C to +15°C. Storage for short periods of fresh food.
-2°C to +8°C. Storage of prepared cooked food.
NOTE: This cabinet is not to be used for the storage of medical supplies.
Compressor
The regulation of the compressor is performed according to the temperature measured by the
thermostat probe with a positive differential from the Set-point. If the temperature increases and
reaches the Upper Set-point 'US' + differential, the compressor is started. Once the temperature
reaches the Lower Set-point 'LS' value, then the compressor is turned ‘Off’.
Defrost
Controller activated defrost is performed by the controller simply stopping the compressor using a
factory pre-programmed defrost setting. To change this setting, contact your authorised service
provider.

5
Specifications
- SF102 Controller
The controller is a mini-sized and integrated intelligent controller and applicable to the 1HP Compressor
used on this Refrigeration Base. The main functions of the Controller are:-
Temperature display.
Temperature control.
Manual / Automatic defrost.
Illumination control.
Value storing.
Self testing.
Parameter locking.
The controller is fully configurable through special parameters that can be easily programmed through the
control panel keypad.
This appliance can operate in the following conditions;-
Temp. amb +40°C ± 1°C relative humidity 55%.
Optimum operational ambient temperatures are between +10°C / +30°C with a relative
humidity of 30/55%.
If the temperature increases and
reaches the Upper Set-point 'E2' + differential, the compressor is started. Once the temperature
reaches the Lower Set-point 'E1' value, then the compressor is turned ‘Off’.
Defrost
Defrost is performed through a simple stop of the compressor. Parameter ‘F2’ controls the interval
between defrost cycles, while the length of defrost (time) is controlled by the parameter ‘F1’.
Parameter 'F3' sets the evaporator temperature which, when reached, ends the defrost cycle. For
safety purposes, the defrosting ends after the time set at 'F1' is reached.
Electrical Supply Requirements
Check that the supply conforms to the requirements listed on the factory label and that it is provided with a
fail-safe protection or an automatic circuit breaker with an efficient earth connection.
