Safe use (continued)

1. Attach the stand (7) to the glue gun using the Mounting Points (6).
2. Insert a Glue Stick (2) into the rear of the glue gun. Push the glue stick forward
until slight resistance is felt.
Before Use
1. Ensure the glue gun is positioned on a clean, stable service area.
2. Plug the Power Cord (4) into a mains power supply.
3. Leave the glue gun for 3-5 minutes so it can reach the normal operating temperature.
4. Gently squeeze the Trigger (5) to advance the glue stick and release the molten adhesive.
5. Release the trigger to stop.
6. Apply the adhesive to one surface only. Bring the two surfaces together immediately. Hold
the joint together for 20-30 seconds to complete the bond.
7. Once you have finished gluing place the glue gun on a flat surface.
NEVER place the tool on its side whilst the glue gun is still connected to the power supply.
Make sure the nozzle is not touching or able to cause damage to surrounding materials.
8. Remove the power cord from the mains supply.
9. Store the glue gun away correctly after allowing the gun to fully cool down from operating
temperature.
Operating the Glue Gun
• When you are gluing different materials apply the adhesive to the least porous material.
• If you are gluing onto cold materials, a better bond can be achieved by pre-warming before
applying the adhesive.
• When gluing textiles or similar materials it is recommended to apply the adhesive in
wavy lines.
• Surplus adhesive can be trimmed with a sharp knife when cooled.
Notes

04
• Ensure all parts of the glue gun are completely cool before storing.
• NEVER wrap the power cord around a tool that has not completely cooled.
• Store the tool in a secure, dry place that is out of the reach of children.
