POWER
AC POWER (Wall Outlet)
1. Plug the supplied AC Power Cord into the Power Cord Input (20) on the rear of the
unit.
2. Insert the wall plug of the AC Power Cord into an electrical wall outlet.
BATTERY POWER
1. Open the Battery Compartment (21) by gently pushing the tabs on the compartment
door in the direction indicated on the bottom of the unit.
2. Insert 6 ‘C’ size batteries (not included) into the Battery Compartment (21). Be sure
to place the batteries in the same polarity (+ or -) direction indicated on the engraved
diagram inside the Battery Compartment (21).
3. Replace the door to the Battery Compartment (21) by carefully sliding it back into
place.
VOLUME
The volume is adjusted by turning the VOLUME Knob (2) on the left side of the unit.
• To Increase the Volume: Rotate the VOLUME Knob (2) toward the Front of the unit.
• To Decrease the Volume: Rotate the VOLUME Knob (2) toward the Rear of the
unit.
PAIRING TO A BLUETOOTH DEVICE
1. Turn your Bluetooth device OFF entirely and then turn it back ON to refresh the
device’s Bluetooth memory.
2. Find the Bluetooth menu in your device and make sure the Bluetooth function is
turned ON (refer to your device’s user manual for instructions on finding the Bluetooth
menu).
3. Adjust the FUNCTION Switch (17) to the CD/BT position. Press the CD/BT button (3)
unitl the BLUETOOTH Indicator Light (7) blinks, indicating the unit is in Pairing mode.
4. On your device, perform a Bluetooth “device discovery” to add the BS118BT as a new
device.
5. When the boombox is discovered your device will display “BS118BT” in the Bluetooth
menu.
6. If your Bluetooth device asks for a password, enter “0000” and the device will now
pair with the BS118BT and be ready to use.
NOTE: The BLUETOOTH Indicator Light (7) will turn solid BLUE when the boombox
has successfully paired with your device.
7. If supported by your device’s menu, set the BS118BT as “set as authorized” or “add to
trusted devices”.
PLAYING MUSIC
After successfully pairing the speaker with your Bluetooth device, you can begin playing
music simply by choosing the song you wish to hear on your device’s menu system (refer to
your device’s user manual for instruction on playing music).
NOTE: All Playback controls (Play, Pause, Skip + / -, etc.) can also be controlled directly on
your Bluetooth device.

PLAYING A CD
1. Open the CD Door (8) by gently lifting the door with your thumb and index finger.
2. Insert a CD with the label side facing UP.
3. Close the CD Door (8) by gently pressing down on the door with your finger.
4. Adjust the FUNCTION Switch (17) to the CD / BT position. The unit will automatically
turn ON and the total number of tracks (songs) on the CD will be shown on the
Display. If necessary press the CD / BT button (3) to set the unit to CD mode.
5. Press the PLAY / PAUSE button (14) to start playing the CD. The PLAY / PAUSE
Indicator Light (10) will automatically turn on.
6. Press the PLAY / PAUSE button (14) again to momentarily pause playback. The
PLAY / PAUSE Indicator Light (10) will automatically start blinking. To resume
playback press the PLAY / PAUSE button (14) again.
7. To Stop playing the CD press the STOP button (4).
SKIPPING TRACKS (SONGS)
• To skip to the next track press the NEXT / F.FWD button (15)
• To move to the beginning of the current track press the PREV / F.REV button (13)
• To skip to a previous track press the PREV / F.REV button (13) multiple times in a row
until the desired track is shown on the LED Display (9).
SEARCHING TRACKS
• While playing a CD press and hold the NEXT / F.FWD button (15) to scan Fast
Forward through the current track. Release the button when you reach the desired
portion of the track you want to hear.
• Press and hold the PREV / F.REV button (13) to Fast Reverse through the current
track. Release the button when you reach the desired portion of the track you want
to hear.
PROGRAMMED PLAYBACK
Up to 20 tracks of a CD can be programmed to play in any desired order.
1. To set a Program order, first make sure the CD is not currently playing by pressing
the STOP button (4)
2. Press the REPEAT / PROGRAM button (5). The PROGRAM Indicator Light (6) will
automatically start blinking, and the Display will start blinking “01”
3. Press the NEXT / F.FWD (15) or PREV / F.REV (13) button until the number of the
first track you want to program is shown in the LED Display (9).
4. Press the REPEAT / PROGRAM button (5) to program the track. The LED Display (9)
will automatically start blinking “02”.
5. Repeat steps 3 & 4 to program up to 20 different tracks.
6. When you have finished selecting tracks, press the PLAY / PAUSE button (14) to start
playing the CD in the order you have programmed. The PROGRAM Indicator Light
(6) and PLAY / PAUSE Indicator Light (10) will both turn ON.
7. To stop Programmed Playback press the STOP button (4) twice. The PROGRAM
Indicator Light (6) will automatically turn OFF.
REPEAT PLAYBACK
• To Repeat a Single Track press the REPEAT / PROGRAM button (5) once.
The REPEAT Indicator Light (11) will automatically start blinking.
• To Repeat the Entire CD press the REPEAT / PROGRAM button (5) twice.
The REPEAT Indicator Light (11) will automatically turn ON.
• To cancel Repeat Playback press the REPEAT / PROGRAM button (5) continuously
until the REPEAT Indicator Light (11) turns OFF.

PLAYING A NON-BLUETOOTH iPod, MP3 PLAYER, or OTHER DEVICE
1. Plug one end of a 3.5mm stereo audio cable (not included) into the AUX-IN JACK
(1) on the left side of the player.
• NOTE: The player will automatically stop BLUETOOTH, CD or RADIO playback
and switch to the AUX-IN connection.
2. Plug the other end of the cable into the headphone jack or audio output of your
external device.
3. Adjust the volume on your external device to an acceptable level.
4. Press PLAY on your external device to being listening.
• NOTE: All playback controls (Play/Pause, Stop, Next/Previous, must be
controlled on your external device)
5. To resume BLUETOOTH, CD, or RADIO playback, simply unplug the 3.5mm stereo
audio cable from the AUX-IN JACK (1).
LISTEN TO AM/FM RADIO
1. Adjust the FUNCTION SWITCH (17) to either the AM or FM position.
2. The Radio will automatically begin playing.
3. Slowly adjust the TUNING KNOB (16) to select the desired Radio station.

LIMITED 90-DAY WARRANTY
We warrant this product to be free from defects in material and workmanship under normal
use for a ninety-day period from the original date of purchase from an authorized
BLUESTREAM dealer.
Should you be missing any of the included accessories or other components (screws, pieces,
etc.), please contact the Customer Support Center to secure a replacement. It is not
necessary to bring the unit back to the store. When calling, please reference the parts list
found in the Instruction Manual to help us accurately identify the missing parts and promptly
provide replacements.
We will replace the unit free of charge should it become defective under this warranty,
providing you, the original purchaser, have your original dated sales receipt.
To obtain warranty service or replacement within the ninety-day warranty period, please
return the product with all parts and accessories along with your original dated store receipt to
the original place of purchase and the unit will be exchanged at no charge. It is not necessary
to contact the manufacturer for warranty replacement.

This warranty applies only under conditions of normal use. Our products are not intended for
outdoor use.
There are no consumer serviceable parts contained in this product and any attempt by the
owner to service or repair the unit will immediately void all warranty coverage.
This warranty does not cover any product which has been subject to damage due to an act of
nature, misuse, neglect, accident, abuse, commercial use, or modification of, or to, any part of
the product, including the antenna. Damage to any external media such as smartphones,
tablets, memory storage, and/or other devices are not covered nor is the cost incurred in
shipping the unit for warranty repair or exchange. Under no circumstances shall
BLUESTREAM be liable for any loss (direct, indirect, incidental, foreseen, unforeseen, special
or consequential) or for any damage arising out of, or in connection with, the use of this
product.
UNDER NO CIRCUMSTANCES WILL BLUESTREAM BE LIABLE FOR ANY INCIDENTAL
OR CONSEQUENTIAL DAMAGES.
This warranty does not cover re-manufactured, refurbished, or repaired units, or any products
sold 'As Is'.
This warranty is valid only to the original purchaser of the Product in the United States and
Canada and grants specific legal rights.
