operation if there is evidence of damage. Replacement burners are available from BLUU.
LEAK TEST:
The Appliance Is Not To Be Used Until Any Leak Is Corrected.
1. DO NOT USE OR PERMIT SOURCES OF IGNITION IN THE AREA WHILE DOING THE LEAK TEST. THIS
INCLUDES SMOKING.
2. Leak testing should be done once per year or whenever the LP gas cylinder or any other gas
system part is taken apart, serviced or replaced, whichever is more frequent.
3. Ensure all gas system coupling joints are tight and properly attached.

Section1: Installation
1. In order to install the unit, rst remove the brazier.
Then, open the lid and unfold the hose. At this
point, you should remove any existing ttings
before turning the device over.
2. Loosen the strap by gently pulling on the rings
before unfolding the legs of the device. You should
hear a click that will indicate you have nished
unfolding the leg fully; repeat with each leg until all
three are fully in position and secure. You will hear a
click also when returning the legs to their previous
positions for storage.
Warning:Legs not in place can cause the brazier
to tip over, leading to serious burns or re!
3. Spread the small - medium - large volcanic
stones into the basin in sequence around the
bottom of the unit, depending on the level of
heat required. However, ensure the volcanic
stones do not fully cover the ignition ring, as
this could prevent thorough heat transfer.
You can reduce the volcanic stones so that
the grill can be placed smoothly.
Warning: Only use a maximum of 2.2 litres of
water on the grill at any one time. Do not use
the grill rack for cooking meat or any
foodstus, as the grill is not intended for this
use.

Section2: Igniting the Device
1. Ensure that unit valve dial is in the “OFF” position by pushing and turning clockwise until the dial
Stops.
2. Securely attach regulator (large end of hose) to your propane cylinder.
The EFV is a safety mechanism contained within every propane gas regulator. The purpose of the
EFV is to restrict the gas supply if too much gas is owing too quickly through the gas hose. For
example, this could happen if the gas hose was severed.
It is normal that your Fire Bowl EFV trips if you open the propane tank valve too quickly or if you
leave the Fire Bowl gas knob open before lighting, or both.
3. **SLOWLY*** turn cylinder valve to the open
position to avoid tripping the CSA excess ow
safety device in the gas regulator. For more
information about the CSA excess ow safety
device see.
What is an Excess Flow Safety Valve? (EFV)
4. Leak Test all connections. See section labeled “Leak Test”.
5. Your rebowl is equipped with an auto spark ignition. Push the knob in and slowly turn
counter-clockwise to the high position. The ignitor will spark and ignite the gas.Should the appliance
fail to ignite on the rst try, promptly repeat the ignition attempt within 5 seconds. If the second
attempt fails to ignite the rebowl then rotate the knob to the “o” position and wait 5 minutes
before attempting to ignite again. Turn the gas valve o at the cylinder and inspect the ignition
electrode to ensure it is free from debris. Aer waiting for 5 minutes visually inspect the spark by
rotating the knob to high without turning the gas back on at the cylinder.
Ensure the spark gap is 1/8” from the burner port and has a clear path. Once you ensure the ignitor
is operating properly repeat the ignition sequence.

Warning:
1. Never handle rocks which have not been allowed to cool from exposure to ame. Never attempt
to rearrange rocks while unit is ignited.
2. The brazier is equipped with a ameout protection device. If the ame is abnormally extinguished
during the combustion process, the protection device will automatically close the gas valve within
3-5min to avoid danger caused by gas leakage.
Note: This helps reduce the risk of damage due to gas leakages; however, regular inspection is
necessary to ensure the device remains safe to use.
USE AND STORAGE REQUIREMENTS
Section3: Regular Flame Inspections
1. Upon igniting the appliance, visually verify that
the burner is indeed burning as demonstrated in
the image to the right. The presence of ames will
conrm that the burner is burning. Periodically
check that the burner ame is present during
operation by visually inspecting the burner to
ensure the presence of ames.
2. If there are no ames present, as demonstrated
in the image to the le, the appliance is likely not
burning. If this is the case, IMMEDIATELY turn the
valve to the “o” position if it is not already and
repeat the ignition procedure as outlined in
Section2.
6. Once the unit is burning normally set the dial to desired ame height.

Section5: Securing the Device
Only attempt to store the device aer the unit is fully cooled. Remove the grill from the device,
then secure the hose by wrapping it around the lug hook. Finally, secure down the lid with the
packing straps and secure the belt hook. This will allow you to carry away the unit safely without
risking it falling apart.
Warning: Allow the equipment to cool for at least 30 minutes before removing the grill to ensure it
does not cause burns.
Note: The device’s carry straps and lid are intended solely for transportation and storage and must
not be used during the use of the device or for any other applications.
Section4: Reducing the Flame
1. Turn cylinder valve to the
“Closed” position 2. Turn appliance valve to
the “O” position by pushing
and turning knob clockwise
3. Allow unit to cool for at
least ve (5) minutes before
relighting
