1. Quick installation
1) In case your BODEGA43 is not suitable for free standing, please don’t use the quick
installation, but read the normal installation instructions.
2) If the handle is not installed yet, install the handle according to the following steps:
a. Move the door seal just enough to put the screws in the holes in order to install the
handle, do not remove the door seal completely.
b. Attach the door handle with the screws that came with your BODEGA43.
c. Return the door seal to the original position
3) If your shelves are tied together with tape for transport, remove the tape.
4) The models B4328 and B43145 can be placed directly against the walls around, while the
front air vents remain free. Built-in models B4325, B4342 and B43100 can be placed directly
against the walls left and right, but they need space behind. Please look for built in
instructions the drawings at the very end of this manual.
5) Wait at least 2 hours after your BODEGA43 is delivered before using it, and 10 minutes
between a small move and re-starting.
6) Ensure yourself of the correct voltage of 220V-240V/50Hz before you connect your
BODEGA43 to the power supply.
7) If your BODEGA43 does not switch on automatically, use the button to switch on your
BODEGA43.
8) Adjust the temperature zones to the desired temperatures.
9) Now your BODEGA43 is ready and it is time to store your wines. Check chapter 8: Loading
and storing wine bottles, to find out how to store your wines to achieve optimal long-lasting
quality.

3. Important safety instructions
Your BODEGA43 has been designed for the storage of wine. Storage of anything else than wine might
cause danger or void of warranty. BODEGA43 cannot be held responsible for any error in this
manual, nor can BODEGA43 be held responsible or liable for any spoilage or damage to wines or any
other contents incidental or consequential to possible defects of the wine cellar. Warranty applies to
the wine cellar only and not to the content of the wine cellar.

Basic precautions when using your BODEGA43:
a. Your BODEGA43 is intended to be used in household and similar applications.
b. Never unplug your BODEGA43 by pulling the power cord, instead grip the plug firmly and pull
it straight out to remove the plug from the socket.
c. Repair or replace a damaged cord immediately, never use a cord that is split or which shows
signs of wear along its length or at its ends.
d. Your BODEGA43 is not intended to be used by children or persons with reduced physical,
sensory or mental capabilities, or lack of experience and knowledge, unless they are under
supervision or have received instructions regarding the use of your BODEGA43 by a person
responsible for their safety.
e. Children must be supervised to ensure that they do not play with your BODEGA43. Do not
allow children to climb, sit or stand on your BODEGA43 or hang from its shelves.
f. Do not use your BODEGA43 if the power cord or plug is damaged, if it does not work
properly, if it is damaged it or has been dropped. If the power cable is damaged, it will need
to be replaced by BODEGA43, their service agent or a similar qualified person to avoid any
dangers.
g. Do not place other devices inside your BODEGA43.
h. Your BODEGA43 contains a small quantity of R600a refrigerant which is environmentally
friendly, but flammable. It does not damage the ozone layer, nor does it increase the
greenhouse effect.
4. Recommendations
The location you have selected for your BODEGA43 should
a. be unencumbered and well ventilated;
b. not be too damp (laundry, pantry, bathroom etc.);
c. be well away from any heat source and direct sunlight;
d. have a standard and reliable electricity supply;
e. have a surge protector fitted to the electrical outlet;
f. be away from the microwave oven. Certain microwave ovens do not have wave interference
shield. When placed within 1 meter vicinity of the wine cabinet, they may affect the operation
of your BODEGA43.
g. Your BODEGA43 should be placed where the ambient temperature is between 16 –32°C. If
the temperature is above or below this range, it will affect the performance of the cellar.
Placing in cold or hot temperature conditions may cause cellar's temperatures fluctuating,
and it will not reach the ideal one.
Notes:
a. Models B4325, B4342 and B43100 are for built-in ONLY
b. Models B4328 and B43145 are both built-in and free standing type
c. Built in drawings for your BODEGA43 you will find at the very end of this manual.

5. Installing your BODEGA43
a. When you receive your BODEGA43, make sure that when you unpack it, there are no defects
in its external appearance (from shocks, deformation etc.).
b. The models B4325, B4342 and B43100 have a door that is bigger than the body. Do not
place your BODEGA43 directly on a hard surface when unpacking it, since the glass can
break. Please note that breakage of the glass is not covered by the warranty.
c. Open the door and check all interior fittings. Also make sure that the supplied items such as
shelves, the control panel, etc. are complete.
d. Remove all of the protection and adhesive strips from the packaging around and inside your
BODEGA43.
e. If there is no problem after checking this, then carry your BODEGA43 to its final location and
while doing so, pay attention to the following:
i. Do not tilt your BODEGA43 at an angle of more than 45 degrees when moving it. Wait
at least 2 hours after your BODEGA43 is delivered before using it, and 10 minutes
between a small move and re-starting.
ii. Place your BODEGA43 away from heat sources and rooms with high humidity (laundry
room, bathroom, etc.).
iii. The models B4328 and B43145 can be placed directly against the walls around, while
the front air vents remain free. Built-in models B4325, B4342 and B43100 can be
placed directly against the walls left and right, but they need space behind. Please find
the built in instructions in the drawings at the very end of this manual.
iv. Your BODEGA43 should be installed in a suitable place where the compressor will not
be subject to physical contact.
v. Place your BODEGA43 on a flat surface. The feet of the BODEGA43 can be used to
cover small differences in height.
vi. When placing your BODEGA43, make sure that the power cord is not trapped or
damaged.
f. Make sure that the ventilation area in your BODEGA43 is clear when you install it, otherwise it
reduces the capacity of cooling and heating. In case your BODEGA43 has a ventilation grill, it
can’t be fully integrated behind a joinery door. The grill must remain free.

g. Built in drawings for all models you will find at the very end of this manual.
h. Check the plug and cable before connecting the power supply and ensure the correct voltage
of 220V-240V/50Hz.
i. Adjust the temperature zones to the desired temperatures, which you can set from 5°C-
20°C. Some models have limitations in temperature range in upper and or lower zone.
j. Now your BODEGA43 is ready and it is time to store your wines. Check chapter 8: Loading
and storing wine bottles to learn how to store your wines in order to achieve optimal long-
lasting quality.
k. If the unit is unplugged, power is lost, or turned off, wait 3 to 5 minutes before restarting the
unit. The wine cellar will not start if you attempt to restart before this time delay.
6. Temperature settings
a. Your BODEGA43 works best at room temperature ranging from 16°C to 32°C (60°F - 90°F).
b. The temperature range inside your BODEGA43 is 5°C-20°C (41F - 68F).
c. By pressing the temperature up and down buttons simultaneously for 5 seconds, the
temperature display mode changes between °C and °F.
7. The control panel explained
a. Model B4325:
Display window. Left temperature is for the upper zone, the right indicator is for the lower zone. The
upper zone can be set from 10 –20°C, the lower zone can be set from 5 –12°C. Please be aware that
the temperature difference between the two zones is at least two degrees. So, for instance, you can’t
set both zones at 10°C

b. Model B4328/B4342/B43100:
For the model B4328 the upper zone can be set from 5 –12°C, the lower zone can be set from 10 –
20°C. For the models B4342 and B43100 both zones can be set from 5 –20°C. Please be aware that
the temperature difference between the two zones is at least two degrees. So, for instance, you can’t
set both zones at 10°C

8. Loading and storing wine bottles
a. Warnings
I. Do not over load your BODEGA43, nor cover the shelves with foil or other materials,
in order to facilitate air circulation.
II. Internal fans are located in the rear wall of your BODEGA43. Avoid obstructing these
fans so that air can circulate freely.
III. Do not pull out more than one loaded shelf at a time as this may cause your
BODEGA43 to tilt forward.
IV. Do not move your BODEGA43 while it is loaded with wines. This might distort the
body of your BODEGA43.
b. Bottle loading method:
i. B4328 and B43145 can be loaded double row.
ii. B4325, B4342 and B43100 can be loaded single row.
iii. If you don’t have enough bottles to fill your BODEGA43, the best is to distribute the
bottles throughout your BODEGA43 instead of putting all bottles together.
iv. In order to store bigger bottles you can remove shelves.
v. Keep a minimum of 20 mm between the bottle and the back side of your BODEGA43.
vi. The capacity of your BODEGA43 is based on bottles with a diameter of 76 mm and a
height of 300 mm. In your house you might not be able to achieve the maximum
loading capacity.
c. Check the following tips to ensure the safety of bottles and shelves:
i. Spread your bottles on the shelves as evenly as possible so that the weight is not
concentrated in one point. Make sure your bottles do not touch the back of the
BODEGA43.
ii. Ensure the bottles are not all grouped together at the top or bottom of your
BODEGA43.
iii. Although the humidity inside a BODEGA43 is regulated between 50% –80%, it
fluctuates with the humidity and temperature in the room. For bottles that you want
to store for many years, it is recommended to wrap your bottles with a plastic film to
protect the labels. This offers extra protection against damage over the years.
d. Your BODEGA43 has been designed to guarantee optimum conditions for storing and/or
serving your wines.
I. All wines mature at the same temperature, which is a constant temperature set
between 10ºC to 12ºC. When drinking, the serving temperature depends on the type
of wine.
e. Your BODEGA43 has been designed with an auto defrost system. During the off-cycle, the
cooling element of your BODEGA43 defrosts automatically. Melting water is collected in a
drainage container, which is located at the back of your BODEGA43, next to the compressor.
Under extremely dry environmental conditions, you may have to add some water into the
water container and under extremely humid conditions, you may might see some water
coming out of your BODEGA43.

9. Maintenance
Follow the simple maintenance and cleaning tasks below to ensure the best performance and long-
lasting reliability:
I. Make sure the power cord is disconnected before cleaning or moving your BODEGA43.
II. Thoroughly clean the inside of your BODEGA43 once a year after you have unplugged and
unloaded it (using a cloth with water and a mild cleaning product).
III. To ensure a reliable, long-lasting performance of your BODEGA43, check it regularly and
inform your dealer if anything unusual is found.
10. Changing shelves
In case a wooden shelf needs to be replaced, first check what type of slider your BODEGA43 has.
If your BODEGA43 has slider type C, you can easily remove the shelf and replace it for a new one by
pushing the buttons (1) at each side that prevent the shelf from falling out.

If your BODEGA43 has slider type D, you can easily remove the shelf and replace it for a new one by
pulling out the shelf until the support bracket, press the two sides of the sliding roller buckles, the left
one down, the right one up, and pull out the shelf. To install a shelf, push in the shelf alignment with
two sides of sliding roller.

Depending on the environmental conditions like
temperature and light, your BODEGA43
switches on and off several times per hour. 4-6
times per hour is not exceptional.
There is a strange noise coming from my
BODEGA43
Is your BODEGA43 placed horizontally?
Is there contact between your BODEGA43 and a
wall or any other item?
Are some parts loose or removed?

12. Normal features of your BODEGA43
These features are normal operation features:
I. The compressor does not start:
The compressor will not start if the room temperature is lower than the desired
temperature inside your BODEGA43. The heating inside continuous to work until the
desired temperature inside is reached.
II. The compressor restarts:
The compressor stops working when the cooling system in the BODEGA43 reaches
the pre-set temperature and starts working again when the desired temperature is
set lower.

III. Depending on the environmental conditions like temperature and light, your
BODEGA43 switches on and off several times per hour. 4-6 times per hour is not
exceptional.
IV. Dew on the surface of your BODEGA43:
The surface of your BODEGA43, especially the glass door, may condense somewhat if
you use your BODEGA43 in a humid environment. This will do no harm and you can
wipe it off with a dry cloth.
V. Noise level of your BODEGA43:
Your BODEGA43, like all active wine coolers, makes more noise than your normal
fridge. Most of the noise of a cooling device is produced by the compressor and the
fans to circulate the air. A household kitchen fridge has only one or sometimes even
no fan. Depending on the model, your BODEGA43 can have up to 7 fans in order to
create a constant temperature. They all produce sound. The bigger models of
BODEGA43 are equipped with an inverter compressor that hardly produces any
sound. Almost all sound with these models are produced by the fans.
VI. Normal operating sounds that you may hear:
oBoiling water, gurgling sounds or slight vibrations that are the result of the
refrigerant circulating through the cooling coils.
oPopping or crackling noises due to the automatic defrost cycle that melts
frost build-up
oLiquid sounds:
•The sound of the compressor when it starts or stops working
•The flowing sound of the refrigerant in the cooling system
•The evaporative sound of the refrigerant in the evaporator
VII. Condensation formed inside your BODEGA43
In an environment with high humidity, if the door of your BODEGA43 has been open
for a long time, or if it has been opened frequently, condensation may occur. You can
easily wipe off the water from the door and walls. Condensed water can become too
much, so that water starts leaking from your BODEGA43. To solve this problem, you
can empty the water container at the back side of your BODEGA43 and check if the
door is closed properly.
VIII. Heat function in the lower zone:
The heat function in the lower zone is switched on automatically in the following
cases:
oWhen the set temperature is higher than the room temperature
oWhen the temperature in the lower zone is lower than the set temperature

Your BODEGA43 is intended for household use and similar applications such as
-Kitchen spaces for staff in stores, offices and other work environments;
-Farms and by customers in hotels, motels and other residential environments;
-Bed and breakfast type environments;

14. Waste disposal tips
The package is used to protect your BODEGA43 during transport. All parts of the package are made
from recycled materials.
-Corrugated paperboard/paperboard (made from waste paper)
-Polystyrene block (foam fluoride-free polystyrene)
-Plastic film, bag (polystyrene)
-Packing string (polystyrene)
-ATTENTION: Never allow a child to play with the packing materials. Plastic film can cause
suffocation
15. Warnings
-The refrigerant and foam layers are flammable. Pay attention to the risk of fire during
maintenance, installation, transport and handling. Used products must be recycled by
specialized companies, do not throw away your BODEGA43 randomly.
-Do not place your BODEGA43 in a location where corrosive or flammable gases or liquids can
leak. Your BODEGA43 can be damaged or even explode.
-The ground wires can’t be connected to a gas pipe, a water pipe system, a lightning rod or a
telephone to prevent an electric shock.
-Your BODEGA43 has no spare parts upon delivery. Please do not disassemble. The
refrigerant used in your BODEGA43 is combustible.
-Transport carefully. Do not move or transport your BODEGA43 tilted. It must also not be
horizontal when the box is moved.
-Non-professional maintenance staff must not attempt to repair your BODEGA43. Improper
repair can cause the risk of fire or explosion. Contact your dealer if your BODEGA43 is
defective.
-Children must be supervised to ensure that they do not play with your BODEGA43.
-If the supply cord is damaged, it must be replaced by BODEGA43 or his service agent or a
similar qualified person in order to prevent a hazard.
-Keep the ventilation openings of your BODEGA43 free of obstructions.
-Do not use mechanical devices or other means to speed up the defrosting process.
-Do not damage the cooling circuit.
-Do not use electrical devices inside the wine storage compartments of your BODEGA43,
unless they are of the type recommended by BODEGA43.
-When positioning your BODEGA43, make sure that the power cord is not trapped or
damaged.
-Do not place multiple sockets or portable power supplies at the rear of your BODEGA43.
-Do not store explosive substances such as spray cans with a flammable propellant in your
BODEGA43.
-The plug must be accessible after your BODEGA43 has been installed.
-DANGER: Risk of child entrapment. Before you throw away your old refrigerator or freezer:
oRemove the door
oLeave the shelves in place so that children can’t easily climb inside

1. Snelle installatie
1) In het geval dat jouw BODEGA43 niet geschikt is voor vrijstaand gebruik, volg dan niet de
snelle installatie, maar lees de normale instructies voor installatie.
2) Als de handgreep nog niet gemonteerd is, bevestig hem dan volgens deze stappen:
a. Verplaats de rubberen afdichting rondom de deur net voldoende zodat je de
schroeven in de gaatjes kan plaatsen om de handgreep te monteren. Verwijder het
rubber niet compleet.
b. Bevestig de handgreep van de deur met de schroeven die geleverd zijn met jouw
BODEGA43.
c. Beweeg de rubberen afdichting terug naar de oorspronkelijke plaats.
3) Als je schappen zijn vastgezet voor transport met tape of anders, verwijder deze dan.
4) De modellen B4328 en B43145 kunnen direct tegen de muur geplaatst worden, zolang de
luchtopeningen aan de voorzijde onder de deur vrij blijven. Inbouwmodellen B4325, B4342
en B43100 kunnen direct tegen de wanden aan de linker-, rechter-, boven- en onderzijde
geplaatst worden, maar deze modellen hebben ruimte nodig aan de achterzijde. Kijk voor de
inbouwinstructies en tekeningen aan het einde van deze handleiding.
5) Wacht ten minste 2 uur na de levering van jouw BODEGA43 voordat je hem gebruikt en
wacht 10 minuten tussen een kleine verplaatsing en het opnieuw starten.
6) Zorg ervoor dat je de juiste spanning van 220V-240V/50Hz hebt voordat je jouw BODEGA43
op het stroomnet aansluit.
7) Als jouw BODEGA43 niet automatisch aan gaat, gebruik dan de aan/uit knop om jouw
BODEGA43 aan te zetten.
8) Stel de temperatuurzones in op de gewenste temperaturen.
9) Nu is jouw BODEGA43 klaar voor gebruik en het is het tijd om hem te vullen met je wijnen.

manier op kunt slaan voor een optimale lange houdbaarheid.

3. Belangrijke veiligheidsinstructies
Jouw BODEGA43 is ontworpen voor de opslag van wijn. Opslag van iets anders dan wijn kan gevaar
opleveren of kan de garantie doen vervallen. BODEGA43 kan niet verantwoordelijk worden gehouden
voor enige fout in deze handleiding, noch kan BODEGA43 verantwoordelijk of aansprakelijk worden
gehouden voor enige bederf of beschadiging van wijnen of enig andere inhoud als gevolg van
eventuele gebreken van jouw BODEGA43. De garantie geldt alleen voor de wijnklimaatkast en niet
voor de inhoud van de wijnklimaatkast.

Basisvoorzorgsmaatregelen bij het gebruik van jouw BODEGA43:
1. Jouw BODEGA43 is bedoeld voor huishoudelijk gebruik en vergelijkbare toepassingen.
2. Haal nooit de stekker van jouw BODEGA43 uit het stopcontact door aan het snoer te trekken,
maar pak de stekker stevig vast en trek hem rechtuit om de stekker uit het stopcontact te
halen.
3. Repareer of vervang onmiddellijk een beschadigd snoer, gebruik nooit een snoer dat is
gespleten of tekenen van slijtage vertoont.
4. Jouw BODEGA43 is niet bedoeld voor gebruik door kinderen of personen met verminderde
fysieke, sensorische of mentale vermogens, of een gebrek aan ervaring en kennis, tenzij ze
onder toezicht staan of instructies hebben ontvangen over het gebruik van jouw BODEGA43
van een persoon die verantwoordelijk is voor hun veiligheid.
5. Kinderen moeten onder toezicht staan om ervoor te zorgen dat ze niet met jouw BODEGA43
spelen. Laat kinderen niet op jouw BODEGA43 klimmen, zitten of staan of aan de planken
hangen.
6. Gebruik jouw BODEGA43 niet als het snoer of de stekker beschadigd is, als hij niet goed
werkt, als hij beschadigd is of als hij is gevallen. Als de voedingskabel beschadigd is, moet
deze door BODEGA43, hun service-monteur of een vergelijkbaar gekwalificeerd persoon
vervangen worden om gevaren te voorkomen.
7. Plaats geen andere apparaten in jouw BODEGA43.
8. Jouw BODEGA43 bevat een kleine hoeveelheid R600a-koelmiddel dat milieuvriendelijk is,
maar brandbaar. Het beschadigt de ozonlaag niet en verhoogt ook niet het broeikaseffect.
4. Aanbevelingen
De locatie die je hebt gekozen voor jouw BODEGA43 moet:
a. vrij zijn van obstakels en goed geventileerd zijn;
b. niet te vochtig zijn (wasruimte, provisiekast, badkamer, enz.);
c. ver van elke warmtebron en direct zonlicht verwijderd zijn;
d. een standaard en betrouwbaar elektriciteitsnet tot de beschikking hebben;
e. een spanningsbeveiliger op het elektrische stopcontact hebben;
f. ver van de magnetron of oven zijn geplaatst. Sommige magnetrons of ovens hebben geen
storingsschild. Als ze binnen 1 meter nabijheid van de wijnklimaatkast worden geplaatst,
kunnen ze de werking van jouw BODEGA43 beïnvloeden.
g. Jouw BODEGA43 moet worden geplaatst in een omgeving waar de omgevingstemperatuur
tussen de 16 - 32°C ligt. Als de temperatuur boven of onder dit bereik ligt, kan dit de
prestaties van jouw BODEGA43 beïnvloeden. Het plaatsen in koude of warme
omstandigheden kan ervoor zorgen dat de temperatuur van jouw BODEGA43 fluctueert en
niet het ideale niveau bereikt.
Opmerkingen:
a. Modellen B4325, B4342 en B43100 zijn ALLEEN voor ingebouwd gebruik.
b. Modellen B4328 en B43145 zijn zowel voor ingebouwd als vrijstaand gebruik.
c. De ingebouwde tekeningen voor jouw BODEGA43 vind je aan het einde van deze handleiding.

5. Het installeren van jouw BODEGA43
a. Als je jouw BODEGA43 ontvangt, controleer dan of er geen beschadigingen aan de
buitenkant zijn (van schokken, vervorming, enz.) wanneer je hem uitpakt.
b. De modellen B4325, B4342 en B43100 hebben een deur die groter is dan de kast. Plaats
jouw BODEGA43 niet direct op een harde ondergrond wanneer je hem uitpakt, omdat het
glas kan breken. Let op dat de garantie geen dekking biedt voor het breken van het glas.
c. Open de deur en controleer alle binnenkanten. Controleer ook of de meegeleverde items,
zoals schappen, het bedieningspaneel, enz. compleet zijn.
d. Verwijder al het beschermingsmateriaal en lijmstrips van de verpakking rondom en in jouw
BODEGA43.
e. Als er na deze controle geen problemen zijn, breng dan jouw BODEGA43 naar de
uiteindelijke locatie en let daarbij op het volgende:
i. Til jouw BODEGA43 niet op een hoek van meer dan 45 graden op tijdens het
verplaatsen. Wacht ten minste 2 uur na levering van jouw BODEGA43 voordat je
het gebruikt en wacht 10 minuten tussen een kleine verplaatsing en het opnieuw
starten.
ii. Plaats jouw BODEGA43 ver van warmtebronnen en ruimtes met hoge
luchtvochtigheid (wasruimte, badkamer, enz.).
iii. De modellen B4328 en B43145 kunnen direct tegen de muren omheen worden
geplaatst, terwijl de ventilatiegril onder de deur vrij blijft. De inbouwmodellen
B4325, B4342 en B43100 kunnen direct tegen de muren links en rechts worden
geplaatst, maar ze hebben ruimte nodig aan de achterzijde. Zie de
inbouwinstructies voor deze modellen helemaal achterin deze handleiging.
iv. Plaats jouw BODEGA43 op een geschikte locatie waar de compressor niet in
contact is met voorwerpen in de omgeving.
